Ubuntu on unrooted Nexus 4

Is there any easy tutorial for installation of ubuntu on unrooted nexus 4?
I see on their sites and found little complicated. And on xda general section of nexus 4 there is one for rooted nexus 4s.

You don't need root. Flash a custom recovery in fastboot mode
