Hello, I recived a wierd d802 with touch problems, after a short check I sow that some how the customer installed a vs980 firmware on it,
after trying to install a stock d802 firmware with off line method and flash tool I get diffrent version error.
Is there any way to flash directly the d802 partition and reconvert it ?
also how can I get into fastboot mode ?
( I cant turn on debug because of the touch problrms

If you have already tried a KDZ file flash and had issue then I suggest seeing if you can find the correct TOT file and DLL file. You may need a universal DLL file due to the mismatch issue you have

Thank you , but the problem is I cant find a dll file that will work, I can only flash VS980 files.
I was thinking that if some one somehow converted the boot to vs980 it can be reversed the question is how.
Also hwo can I bring it to fastboot mode ?

I was installed wrong rom my phone is Verizon and i installed the rom for tmoble...because i didn't pay attention on the post .. now my phone can only go into download mode .. but i tried to back to stock with Flashtool.. i cant do that they always said Model: D801, DLL : VS980 .... Device Model is different.. plzzz anyone knows how to get out from this problem ?

I tried to follow on that post but when i install the rom always said download fail because model is different :crying::crying:
You downloaded either the 10B or 11A (VS98011A_01) TOT file, overwrote the *.dll in the C:\LG\LGFlash Tool directory, then used the LGFlash Tool while in Download mode?

Hello,
recently I bricked my LG G2 d802. That happened to me few times before so I tried the same method that worked then.
I used LG Flash tool to flash *.tot and *.dll files trough download mode which didn't work, as soon as the phone has to reboot into system it goes into recovery. I also tried to flash CM 11 M11 using OTG cable but it doesn't work because the USB(FAT 32 foramat) isn't recognized. Is there anything I can do to get my phone up and running? :crying:

Yes, but I've foung out that thats only for USA versions of this phone and I have Int.

Fixed.
I got a used LG G2 from ebay. It is mentioned on the back of the phone that it is a D802 version whick i confirm with IMEI number also. I was trying to install Autorec but as soon as i finished and rebooted it was stuck in fastboot. I researched about it a lot. I have no access to download mode. I tried flashing the laf.img but that too didn't work. Can anyone help me and provide me with the correct files. Thank you in advance.

Okay so before you start criticizing me for being a completely dumb-***
I am fully aware that I am. Glad we can pass this part.
Now for the real bullpucky,
I installed CloudyLG 3.0 on my D801 not knowing it was only for Korean Versions of the LG G2
I bricked my LG G2 D801, No Download Mode, No LG G2 logo, No recovery, just Fastboot
So I found a thread which helped me with, this problem but my dumb-*** wasn't think and half asleep
So I flashed the wrong files for my phone. Instead of using the D801 .img files, I used the D802 .img files.
I can see the LG G2 logo, Download mode and stock recovery but, where I am stuck is here
I tried flashing the stock rom using the kdz file but nothing is working. and yes my phone is showing up on my computer on COM4/41
Any means of help? or is my phone done for?
I am willing to work with anyone who can help

If you have a D801 T-Mobile you should be Returning to Stock using the TOT Method.
Visit the Return to Stock thread.
Scroll down a little and you will find the TOT Method.
Grab your TOT .zip & dll file from here.
Try the TOT method instead of the KDZ method.

I tried the TOT method, but since I flashed a ROM that wasn't compatible with my D801, my entire phone now is pointing as if is an F320S, it doesn't even say its D801 model.
When I tried to use the D801 TOT file with the correct .DLL it failed to do so because of the wrong TOT aka my phone saying it's an F320S model when it really isn't.
I'm downloading the F320S TOT file w/ the .DLL, hopefully this works.
Is there any alternatives for this? I would appreciate it! thanks for the reply

I got it to work.
You should get the d801 tot file, edit it with hex editor to the line 6010 by copying the line 6010 of f320 tot file save it, and then follow the guide to of going back to stock with lgflashtool with tot file, remember to get dll file that skips version checking, it worked for me, i did the same mistake.

I am using a LS997 lock with stock rom US99610d and I go softbrick when tried to update to 10f-auto root.zip).
Finaly I found a way to fix it :
- Download stock rom 99610f.KDZ
- Use UPPERCUT with LGUP to restore my phone and 100% success without issure.
My problem is my lock phone can not get signal. I must unblock bootloader and install TWRP recovery to Flash file modem.img.
After that my phone will slower than before so I want to add file modem.img to stock rom US996.KDZ.
Please share and help me !!!!!!!!!!!

I Fixed it by the way unlock bootloader -> install Custom Recovery -> Flash zip file.
But I don't want to unlock bootloader and I am looking for the way to fix signal while kdz.

No. Not for the Sprint variant. It doesn't work. If it does....then it isn't doing it correctly.
@NandN You will have no choice but to unlock the bootloader if you want to fix your radio. You can only flash specific partitions if you have an unlocked bootloader, and you need to flash the LS997 radio firmware.
I am really amazed that you didn't brick your phone by flashing the US996 KDZ onto an LS997. Consider yourself lucky that you can bring your phone back to life
