Change collors of your calls/calendar

Hi,
Im new here and i'm wondering if you can change your collor in the main screen witouth adding another theme? And then i mean the color of the calls and calendar, because i use a black background i can't read this anymore. And i just don't want to change the background. I hope someone could help me.

the mostly are other theme's and i don't want instal another theme. Everything is perfect except the color of my call history and the calendar. Other things that just can edit this?

I'm trying to build my first theme based on the verizon one, I searched it al ready and never found it, so I do it by myself.
I just have few issues before it's ready to be shared and this one :

I don't find where this little annoying white part comes from any ideas ?
IF I miss a file how I can know the one I miss ? is there a manila file which call those ones ?

note the slight graphic glitch between the white and the transparent,

I like the transparent...if this is the purpose of the thread? Letting you know what i prefer? I would also like.....battery % IN the battery icon...but meh...different discussion for that (sorry if that last comment is a bit of a tangent).
