i have created SM-P605 recovery flashable via Odin, will post once i tested.

Done, tested on my device. Recovery was SM-P905 and once flash via Odin its now SM-P605

You can root with CF-Auto-Root-viennalte-viennaltexx-smp905.tar.md5
then restore SM-P605 recovery
Reason you need to restore SM-P605 recovery is because CF-Auto-Root-viennalte-viennaltexx-smp905.tar.md5 come with SM-P905 recovery

i only have to do once, event after factory restore or clear data and cache in recovery
if you did the upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4.2 you may need to each time you restore but if do Odin 4.4.2 then you only do once after root.

if SPen stop working, use *#2663# on phone and do wacom firmware update
I have tried to flash the rom. I get stuck on Recovery booting after odin reboots the device after the flashing process has completed.
Any ideas of what might be wrong?

This is a Single firmware and does not clear the data. But if the flash tab gets stuck on the Samsung logo should be done in recovery wipe data, it will result in loss of data

You can, though you will probably have WiFi problems.
If you really want KitKat, just install Gnabo ROM with the added WiFi fix. It's based on the leak so it's not official, but it's really stable and this is the only thing I can truly recommend so far.

You can install but not as it is, you need to remove , sboot.bin,tz.img and modem.bin
I use TAR_MD5_PACKAGER
first unpack DBT-N8000XXUDNE4-20140530102814.zip (other firmware site was named N8000XXUDNE4_N8000OXADNE4_DBT.zip) with 7-zip
then unpack N8000XXUDNE4_N8000OXADNE4_N8000XXUDNE1.tar.md5 with 7-zip
copy boot.img,cache.img,hidden.img,recovery.img and system.img to the parts folder of TAR_MD5_PACKAGER make your tar file, (option 1), (you can also add the MD5 to tar)
do a factory reset ( if you forget to do a factory reset you might get FC on apps

My favorite method is to flash custom recovery via ODIN, and then flash the latest Supersu.zip from recovery (you can restore stock recovery via MobilOdin later)
This works fine with N7100xxufng4.

Uncheck auto reboot in odin while flashing custom recovery so once its done flashing,unplug the phone battery to turn off the phone,plug it back in after a minute and manually enter recovery mode by pressing volume up plus home plus power key and flash supersu zip via the recovery and then reboot your phone.Let it finish booting.Open supersu it'd ask you if you want to disable knox allow it and you are set.

Thanks for your advice. I managed to reroot my phone finally! But I cannot flash the supersu and i have to install it via google play.

What do mean "CANNOT FLASH THE SUPERSU"? Not on your device? Doesn't work?

TMo kernel info and NF4 firmware was updated OTA on June 18th. So he must be running a kernel version with a date prior to June 13th. Which does nothing for the T337T. He has a Verizon tablet anyhow. Even if the root worked for him, the tablet version is not the same.

Your not running the most current firmware. That's why you can root. And the verizon tab 4 is not a t337t

We all have it. It's the root we need. Someone in here is working on it. I tested but it didn't work. The software from sammobile is flawed. It didn't work on my tab. But found it elsewhere.

I just purchased a 900 model off ebay, along with a Logitech folio keyboard, for around 430 bucks. It isn't here yet... I'm moving from an Asus TF700 (great little tablet but only 1g of memory limits it). How long is the usual wait for a new Samsung update to a tablet to makes its way from the Netherlands (?!) to the USA? Not exactly, of course, but any educated guesses?

No way to tell with Samsung. You can odin flash this and set language to US English with no problems. Mine is booting up with it now.
A noob question maybe, if I flash this image with Odin will that be like an OTA upgrade or actually do a clean install of 5.0.2? (I'm kind of eager to upgade )

Odin flashing this does not wipe(you may have serious issues if you do not wipe before the odin flash since you are upgrading from KitKat). I wiped then installed this via Odin. I then Odin flashed the newest TWRP and flashed SuperSU in TWRP to get root. I finished the initial setup and am now letting it reinstall all the apps I wanted. Odin flashing TWRP was a pain because if you cannot immediately boot in to TWRP after the Odin flash it will not take. It took me a few tries to make it work but it will work.

I too had this problem this morning.
I think my issue was using the wrong version of Odin to start with.
I tried again with Odin v3.06 and it worked fine.
Not tried rooting it again yet as the only reason I had for rooting in KitKat was to get all apps to have right access to the external SD. But Lollipop gives back the access

i fixed the problem by installed 4.4.2 and without wiping data and cach ... installed over it the lollipop
I already flash this rom last night by using odin. And it was successful.
But my kies can not detected my note. I just did factory reset. Hope my kies can detected myvtab again.

I just flashed ten times KK and then lollipop using the "Wipe all" info provided in P600 thread, however, no success at all!, THE annoying Black screen, BUT!, when you suggested flashING lollipop after kk WITHOUT wipeS, Everything worked GREAT! Finally, the nice SAMSUNG logo came back instead of Black screen and then boom! the updating process of apps!
I deeply appreciated you for your such generous help and support which saved my time and of course brought back my Note Tablet to life!

Guys, a question.
If i want to clean install Lollipop with full wipes using Odin on the SM-P601, which is currently on the UAE csc, using the INU csc, what are the steps i should follow.?
And if i factory reset using the recovery, will all my files in the internal storage get deleted.?
Any help would be appreciated.
