May be due to the way you flashed.
How did you flash the custom rom? Via custom recovery or Odin?
I FLASHED OFFICIAL ROM AS NORMAL WAY BY ODIN RESULT=NO MODEM UPDATE THEN FLASHED CUSTOM ROM BY TWRP RECOVERY
(FLASHED :Mix Rom N9005DXUENE4[N9005 - NE4 THEN FLASHED [05/16][ROM][N9005] XXUENE4 4.4.2 Multi CSC DPI, Ultimate V3 452 Mo BY RAYMAN) MODEM DID NOT UPDATED

Hello,
I have currently installed OMEGA Rom v9 with basebandXXUBMGA.
It is now possible to update to OMEGA v13.2. Is it safe to update my baseband to GSM XXUEMJ5 + LTE XXUBMH1 modems or to GSM XXUEMJ5 + LTE XXUEMJ5 Modems? If so wich of these 2 versions do i have to choose? I believe have to flash with Odin?
Thanks a lot

You should flash GSM XXUEMJ5 + LTE XXUBMH1 with odin. Shut down your phone, and start in download mode, DON'T restart into download mode.
Next you should flash the rom using your recovery (CWM,TWRP or Philz touch).

Omega v2.0 Google Edition update to 13.2
I'm on the google edition of omega and it runs grate but it hasnt been updated in some time. I did and update to 13.2 and everything works but I have issues with the modem or something. When I turn of the screen the signal goes away and when I unlock the screen signal comes back with data. The Basevand version I'm on is I9505XXUBMF8 and I have tried using the modems in the install guide of 13.2 and nothing works.
anyone knows how to fix this ? atm I'm back on omega v2 google edition
So let's keep this short.
I want to revert to 4.4.4 stock firmware, coming from SimplRom (lollipop).
So before I flashed SimplRom I had to flash a different baseband and a different modem (BOC3 baseband&modem I believe).
Now I want to revert back to 4.4.4 stock firmware, do I have to flash a different baseband and modem BEFORE I can flash the firmware? Or can I just flash it right away with the BOC3 baseband and modem.
Thanks for everyone helping!

Just choose your stock version for your country in order to avoide the CSC problems, make a backup and flash back via Odin. Good Luck.

I am assuming that all flashed OK? If so did you flash the rom straight after to get the Stock OB8 kernel? If ALL has flashed fine in odin and you have installed Omega 41 then wifi should work.

First i flashed stock 4.4.2 modem from sammobile. (to make sure nothing is bricked after 100 times of failing to get wifi working)
It works oob without flashing any baseband (i think ufnc9 comes with this rom)
details rom here:
Model GT-I9505
Model name GALAXY S4 LTE Netherlands
Version Android 4.4.2
Product code PHN
PDA I9505XXUGNG8
CSC I9505PHNGNF1
Then i flashed
Model GT-I9505
Model name GALAXY S4 LTE Netherlands
Version Android 5.0.1
Product code PHN
PDA I9505XXUHOB7
CSC I9505PHNHOB2
System --> Setting still shows baseband UFNC9.
Im using openrecovery-twrp-2.8.6.0-jfltexx (but after installing it and reboot to recovery it shows 2.8.5.0.
(flashed with Odin V3.10 under the AP section, right? i believe im doing evrything ok, have flashed alot of roms on this phone before)
(in the earlier try, current state is clean stock 5.0.1 rom with root and twrp 2.8.5.0, no working wifi)
I peformed all steps here exactly.

With these basebands:

So I have S4 I9505 with custom phoenix rom 4.4.2 version and kernel version [email protected]#5. I want to return my phone to official stock rom and kernel if needed.
In phone info app under firmware tab I get:
bootloader version: I9505XXUEMJ7
PDA version: I9505XXUGNJ8
CSC version: I9505OXXGNK1
Baseband version: I9505XXUEMJ7
latest firmware: I9505XXUHOJ2/I9505OLBHOH1/I9505XXUHOJ2
(so I found and download the zip file with that stock rom for I9505XXUHOJ2/I9505OLBHOH1 XME witch I plan to flash with Odin3 3.10)
under CSC CODE tab I get product code GT-I9505ZWAXME and original CSC code XME
So my questions are:
1. Am I planing to flash the correct stock rom for my telephone ?
2. Will I have to flash the official stock kernel for my phone or can I leave the one I already have? And what to flash first the stock kernel or the stock rom ?
3. Where can I find the official stock kernel for my version of S4 ?
Thx in advance

You can flash any stock rom if your phone is not carrier locked.
The stock kernel is packed with the stock rom, and so is the stock recovery. So it's basically a 3in1 package. You just have to decide which stock rom to flash.

My phone it's not carrier locked.
So basically any official stock kernel that I find I can flash and I don't need to worry about PDA,CSC and other codes. If that is so can you direct me where can I find stock kernel/recovery/rom in one package for the latest android version for S4. If any will do then its not important which really as long as it is official samsung rom
As I said, you only need the rom, the kernel and recovery come with the stock rom .zip.
You can download official roms from sammobile. Just enter your device model. After that select your country and carrier, and it will give you the latest firmware.
Problem is that sammobile has slow downloads..
Thx I will do that. There I found the first rom I mentioned in original post. But its nice to know that I can pick any rom there that I want. Sorry for my noobisam

I'm currently on CM13 with modem OJ1. Can I flash the stock firmware with modem OH4 without any special step?
