Today while using my S4 it just stopped working and it doesn't respond anymore I thought it was just a bug so I pulled out the battery and tried to boot it angain
it boots directly into the Download Mode with a message "Cannot do normal boot"
so I decieded to flash a clean ROM from SAMMOBILE.Com with Odin and while I was browsing through the ROMs the phone turned off suddenly and now refuses to turn on it doesn't respond anymore even if plug in the charger
Plzzz Help me

you can buy a "USB JIG" from ebay
or search on youtube "how to make a usb jig"
A jig won't help you here. My guess is that you have some hardware failure.

If it is firmware related, then you can download the OFW Firmware from the samsung site, and flash it with odin

Yes you were right I tried the jig thing and the phone still dead

if you still got warranty send your phone to samsung,they will repair for you..
from my experience,if you have flash custom firmware and you got 0x1 flag your warranty is void
but if your phone is completely dead just send it to them for repair
give it a try first

Pull the battery, wait 30 sconds. If you have a Jig insert it in the phone`s usb port to get into download mode. If not press volume down and the power button and you will get into downloadmode and then flash a stock rom with Odin. See item 1 and 2 of my signature.

Did this happen after using Kies? If it did (and you weren't rooted), you could either take it back to the store where you purchased it or get in touch with Samsung for a warranty repair.
pull of battery -->plug usb jig --> pull battery --> download mode --> unplug usbjig --> odin flash stock firmware

...sounds like an OTA bricked your phone. If that's the case (and you don't have a jig), you've definitely need to take it back to where you got it.
A totally legit brick by the sounds of it.
Take it to service for fix or replace. Easy

When i started the proces it said failed...
now when i try to boot my phone it says L Firmware upgrade encountered an issue . please select recovery mode in kies & try again...
how can i fix this?

Reflashing the firmware. Try to use next time Towelroot for root ur device.

1. Install and open Kies3.
2. Conect ur phone to ur PC and Kies 3 will tell ya your CSC (country code) with 3 letters (pic attached)
3. Paste me here your CSC for find the correct firmware for ur device.

i updated my grand 2 from 4.3 to 4.4.2 and then tried to get back to 4.3 stock firmware through odin3. In the odin it was written "all threads completed (succeed 0/ failed 1)
now the phone isnt even switching on and no button is working
please help me, what should i do to make it work?

bro there is nothing to worry just go to the nearest service center & tell them you were updating your phone via KIES SOFTWARE of samsung but in between there was a power cut so update stoped in between & after that my phone was not starting ....thats it they would do the needful & repair your handset....hoping your phone will be in warranty...
@EthanDev : dude games like clash of clans and few others were showing huge framedrop and other performance bugs were there and also i was happy with my rooted 4.3 jb, thats why i tried that
@grohitsurana: yes have done that only, gave my phone to the service center few hours ago, hope those guys make it work again

Guys I have the same problem. I updated to kitkat but there are lots of b bugs. So I tried to downgrade to 4.3 and process failed. Now my phone is dead. It's not showing any activity. Three button combo not working. Even the boot logo is not showing up. Any idea what to do. Any body tried USB jig?

nah didn't tried anything, i posted here for help but no solution came, so gave my phone to the service center and yes they said if its a software problem, its their responsibility but i'm worried what'd happen if they somehow find out that the device is rooted :s

you need a working stock dump of bootloader(.img) ask the developers to upload a working bootloader dump and follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439367

Did you read the guide your going to install or burn the dump bootloader to sdcrad and the phone will force read or boot from sdcard then after that it will boot into download mode and your going to flash the stock firmware via odin. Gets???

Don't downgrade, it will hard brick your phone!!! If you downgraded, that means you have bricked it.

I bought a couple of days ago.. and its says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." so i flash stock rom with odin....and thats it..

My first suggestion would be take it back to where you got it , is on warranty right?
When you flashed stock rom as suggested on the thread you posted , did it all go ok? what rom version rom you had on the phone , what rom version you tried to flash?...you know you cannot downgrade, you should use same or newer rom to re flash your phone ( odin)

And in all of then when flashed odin said pass and no errors in log?
If the phone was like that when you bought it.....is most like it something is dead inside...maybe EMMC memory, just guessing

if you have warranty then take it to the service centre. Otherwise try to flash firmware through odin.

I don't know but if something goes wrong and you go to the service center and you say I bricked my phone because I flashed a wrong firmware on my phone, I think he would say its your fault not mine
