What do folks on custom roms here do for a modem/radio? Being divorced from Sprint OTA updates makes me nervous about whether or not I'm getting the best coverage, or how I'm supposed to update my PRL.
As a note, I'm currently using C-Rom KitKat 6.6.

I am running cm7 on at&t 9020a. I can't find the stock rom anywhere to downgrade to. unless I can do OTA from cm7 (which I'm not sure I can). I am running clockworkmod recovery and cannot find the stock rom or a way to downgrade to it anywhere.
Just flash cm9 It's 4.0.4.

I didn't think that got an official release yet, and I want to try stock.
NS4G? We've already had the official OTA

It isn't that hard. There is a sticky thread in this forum. That thread gives you all the full roms.
How can I install zv8 13 update without going into bootloader I'm on a sprint g2 stock rooted ROM and custom two recovery
Why don't you just flash one of the stock rooted roms in the Sprint development section? It has the update.

I am looking to get the Offiical Cyanogen Mod ROM for the Sprint galaxy s4, but it says I need "jfltespr" what is this? I am currently rooted and have a custom ROM, Sacs rom V 5.0. Here are screenshots of my "About phone"

Basically I want to get an AOSP ROM, I don't mind if it's Cyanogen Mod, I'm actually going to ask another question: What AOSP Rom would you recommend, and does it require "jfltespr" if so how do I get that? Thanks, sorry for being such a noob d:
Jfltespr is just a code name. It is the sprint Galaxy S4. it had me confused when I downloaded slimkat.

Thanks! So can I download any AOSP Rom? Or do they only work on specific firmware's? I think I have MK2, do all AOSP roms work on MK2?
I still have mf9 firmware on my phone. I haven't updated it to mk2. I haven't had any issues. I am running a dual boot of sacs custom 5.2 touchwiz and the latest slimkat aosp weekly rom.
So I guess to answer, they should be compatible either way. Maybe not with pre mf9 firmware but I can't confirm that. I haven't really found a reason yet to update to mk2 modem but I've only owned this phone for 3 days.

I took the MJA update and have the MK2 modem...and all the AOSP ROMs 4.3 and up work. I just cannot use any below 4.3
"Remember if you say Please...make sure you hit Thanks!!!"
So I got the i337 AT&T S4 thinking it wouldn't have any issues on T-mobile, but it has a lot of problems with data. I found a hyperdrive ROM that worked except it had no wifi available. Are there any roms that load with safe strap that also work with t-mobile service?
Never mind. I'm stupid.

Hey guys, I happen to be running an old shostock rom from shortly after I got the phone. I believe I have the mdl bootloader but am only 90% sure.
Since it has been so long and I see so many threads about having to use safestrap I just want to be cautious with my flash.
I would like to try out a newer, but very stable ROM. Which ones are compatible with my device? I assume I still need to flash lokidoki.zip?
I used to love miui on my old inspire/desire hd....is there a good port for the gs4?
Thanks for the help!

If you go to Settings, "About Phone" and check there or extra information, it should tell you the what the current bootloader is for your device, yes?
Dirty Unicorns is a stable MDL based ROM available in Kit Kat and Lollipop.
If you have an old ROM, I wonder if you may need to update your modem as well.
Whatever do you, don't forget to backup. Good luck.

Anyone else have anything to add? How stable are the aosp lollipop roms?
I do like touchwiz but I'm looking for a change of pace.
