If I go to Verizon to pick up a Note 3 can I avoid the OTA and still activate it?
I'm trying to use the leak instead of the OTA so I can root but every time I've bought a phone from Verizon it seems the OTA starts before I even get the phone.
I would imagine that it wouldn't already be updated if it's new in box right?
Any help would be appreciated.
The problem probably starts because when they activate the phone it starts to download the update. Tell them you will activate the phone on your own.

It will download the update, mine did, but you can keep putting off installing it.
Why do you want to avoid the update?

So I can use the leak and be rooted.

The update can not be rooted, I'm sure that's why he's avoiding it. He can install a pre-rooted version though.
I'm not sure about a Note 3 from a Verizon store, but I just received a warranty replacement Note 3 from Verizon today and it came with MJE. If you do pick up a new Note 3, you should be able to choose to not install the update. For me, the update did start downloading right away on my phone, but I could simply choose to postpone installing it. Make sure you activate the phone yourself to avoid any issues.

Has anyone tried fitting the 128gb memory card hack on a Note 3 with the OEM charging cover?

When I have more than one person on the call with me, sometimes there is a "Merge" button to merge them into one call, and sometimes there is a "Swap" button there instead. What if I see the "Merge" button, and I want to swap the calls instead? How do I unmerge them? When on two separate calls, how do I hang up on one call but not the other? When I tap the button to hang up, the call on hold also gets hung up. How do I avoid that?

Anyone find any external Lens that would be a good fit onto the Note 3?

Please see this photo. The case has "Samsung" (barely discernable) on the front, and only comes with a battery if you buy it straight from Samsung. I lost my other one and was wondering where I can get more of them (very handy if you are carrying around spare batteries)? Not only do I not see them anywhere on ebay, but I can't even find a photo of one when I search google images! Please help, anyone?

It comes with the external battery charger/spare battery kit from as long as it's a direct from Samsung one. Retails for $49.99 I believe, however there are plenty of 50% codes floating around on the Internet.

Yes that is where I got mine. But all I want right now is to find out where the little plastic battery holders are for sale. And certainly not for $50! Any ideas?

Isn't there an app that can show duplicate contacts that are not linked and let you really link them?

So I need to go through all my contacts to always look for new linkedin contacts as they appear to link them with the Google contact already there for that same person... What a PITA
