Google caqlendar syncing problems

I have a strange problem with syncing my google calendar on my G1. I have 3 calendars (main calendar, weather and holidays). 2 of them are syncing fine but my main calendar starts to sync but never stops. Besides this is draining my battery, the events from my main calendar don't appear in my calendar app.
This is what I tried:
delete data of calendar and calendar storage in application manager
check if my main calendar is checked in my calendars in the calendar app
auto sync
sync manually
deleted and readded calendar in calendar app
wipe
I have seen some threads, where people reported that contacts don'T sync or even calendar doesn't but no solutions. Any help?

I flashed back to cyanogens 3.9.2 and all goes smooth. I only wonder, why all the others with 3.9.5 don't have this issue. But I will post that in the other thread.

Calendar entries not appearing through google calendar web interface

Can anyone explain why the calendar app, synced to a google calendar, displays calendar entries on the phone but doesn't display any entries when i log in to the same account on google calendar through my laptop?
Am i missing something in the way it is set up?

[Q] calendar widget just showing google's entries

Is there any way to make the widget to show me also the entries from facebook (e.g. birthdays sync'd in)?
I see them in my google calendar on my mobile (SG3 with Kyrillos v4.0 final) but not on widget...

new to stock android. how do i sync facebook calendar with google calendar

hey guys,
i have a galaxy s4 and my Facebook calendar synced with google calendar on it.
however, on the nexus 7 when i add my Facebook account, it only gives me the option to sync contacts. Nothing for calendar and events.

Gmail calendar items are not displayed in any calendar app

My main Gmail account is fully synced with my device.
In all calendar apps, no appointments from it (and any other gmail account) are displayed (checked with stock calendar, CAL, widgets etc.)
My Gmail calendar is not even displayed in the list of available calendars in any app.
Of course, all my appointments are there on the web version of Google calendar, and all are fully synced.
Any advise to remedy that annoying issue would be very welcome.
