Hiya, i recently brought a used galaxy s4 from ebay, the seller said he had it for under a year and used a screen protector on it.
When i recieved it the screen was very smudgy after using it for not very long, and these fingerprints are hindering the great display tbh, im pretty sure the oleophobic coating has worn off!!
What would be the best solution regarding this? Would it be best to get a screen protector? If so, which one is the best?
Thanks alot
Darren

I am debating whether to use a screen protector....
No, not a single one. And I use my N7 on a daily basis (since mid July) without a screen protector.
Just get good cover for the N7 (LuvTab, Poetic, etc.) and you'll be perfectly fine.
No, but I am pretty careful with it. My phone has gorilla glass and I have a scratch on that. It aint scratch proof.
Some fine scratches that are only noticeable when the screen is off and at an angle, so nothing to worry about too much. I refuse to use protection

Had a screen protector on, looked terrible. Now I'm using it naked, but with a pouch.
No scratches yet,it's been several weeks.
I don't know but I actually prefer the look of my screen with a matte SP on. I also love the feel and the lack of fingerprints. My N7 was stolen yesterday and I bought a new one. I had a SGP Matte Ultra Fine protector on it and it is sorely missed after using the stock glass.
The fingerprints are the worst and I hate how after playing a game with a D-pad for a few, the area under your thumb starts to get tacky and hard to slide. I'm having to constantly wipe it down. I'm putting another one on there ASAP.

The glass material of the screen seems to be reliable.
My N7 previously has a AG screen-protector, but then I removed it So far there are no scratches, but probably because it is protected by a case with smart cover.
If being afraid of any scratches that N7 may have, I would suggest an AR screen-protector. Try it.
No scratches on mine. It was also over a full month before I purchased a case.
What can you do to get rid of scratches if you get them or can you?

You can not remove them but you can install a good screen protector to hide the scratches.

I've ordered this one http://www.gadgetshieldz.in/google-lg-nexus-4-e960-screen-protector.html#product498 and the Ringke Fusion Case... I hope these are good products, because the case i have right now is really bad, it dropped the phone before my n4 hit the ground...

Their not really removable. Other than buying a new screen an digitizer, you're stuck with them.
If they are really really tiny surface scratches, I wonder if using that oleophobic stuff from amazon would fill them in. Seeing as the phone comes with an oleophobic coating, I wonder if that's all that got scratched. If someone has an old junk phone, I'd be curious to know if that windshield chip repair stuff would do anything.

That stuff for windshields is an epoxy, which would not look good on a phone screen. The olelophobic stuff from amazon would be worth a try.

Now i have some tiny scratches that are seen only when screen is not clean. They are seen if u put finger on then but after the screen is cleaned they disapeer and reapeer when fingers are on screen
My answer is:
If i will polish my phone with special solution does the scratches disapeer?

Maybe very very light scratches, wouldn`t recommend it though. Instead get a screen protector.
A polish will destroy the coating. Then you maybe have a always dirty looking Display. Using a screen protector is a better way and you can't see little scratches with the screen protector on the Display.

Hello! So i've bought a new screen protector and went to a proffesional to apply it. All good but i notice that after a few days this weird thing, some parts of the protector became whiter, as in white spots and lines and i can' t get rid of them by wiping no matter how hard i try. Now this protector has an anti glare coating and the guy said that it will worn off in time. So i'm really puzzled about this, what do you guys think?

Better change it if you've bought it form that professional then he's faking it a good quality screen guard doesn't give any patches it'll be exactly the same like your screen you won't even feel like you have it over screen ive got one from 1year and its still looks like some days old! [emoji6]
