[Q] XEO Reboots after Boot then bootloops or tocuh not working????

ok i manage to turn on the device but i'm Facing the same problem again so what should i do SENIORS or EXPERTS i flashed the XSI version on the phone it was working good after some while it started again not rooted or Custom roms only stock android and still facing this problem y wht should i od to get it back on its feet can y give me any advice......

but u r on boot animation on samsung logo!
so try to flash another rom via odin
or wipe ur phone though recovery

i have tried all of that but its no use if this keeps happening because of the hardware or is this problem isbecause of software. let me know about

Help me installing custom recovery

Hi i want to install custom recovery on s4 but i want to install it without odin i want to install it safe way without pc
i saw a video on youtube the guy was installing recovery with terminal emulator but he was on kitkat so i did not use his methods
is there anyway i can install a recovery without pc i have i9500 s4 lollipop 5.01

Just use terminal emulator, the android version doesn't matter. If it did there would be disclaimers on their website, like only for android 4.x.x or 5.x.x etc.

or you can just use Flashify from the playstore to flash the file.

@muaaviya If I were you, I would follow lennyz guide then remove KINGROOT, you can probably/hopefully unroot/remove in the app, then flash SuperSU.zip in recovery to root here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
It may not remove it completely, haven't tried kingroot. In the future only use one-click apps as the last option, if at all. Not the safest way to root, IMO.

You do know Philz is outdated and not maintained anymore? It makes no sense to flash Philz when you can flash TWRP the same way.

I know man twrp is more poplulor but i did a too much resarch on phillz recovery so that is why i flashed it and it is working good i took a nandroid backup and flashed aurora s6 rom and its working awsome. Anyways thanks for helping me you guys are really awesome you helped me in everything thanks again.

Galaxy grand 2 recovery mode not working

Please help me I have searched every thing but found no help I m trying to go in recovery mode in order to install cynogen mode rom for my device . But I cant get inside I rooted my device . I also tried on rom manager .I even tried keys pressing to go in the recovery mode.. I found no help to get inside in order to install the rom I have everything in my sdcard downloaded rom gapps etc but I m not able to go inside while in rom manager it say un supported device please help...thanks

Just samsung model came and it turns on normaly not working while odin mode is working with key down but recovery mode is not .. at first even no command error was coming after applying different recovery.img now even no command is error is coming please help I m having 4.4.2 right now

go to odin mode and then connect device to pc and leave it..will take some time because it will install drivers.

turn off phone,press vol dwn+power+home button,after you see a warning,press vol u button,now connect phone to pc,you will see a popup on pc showing installing driver.after it completes(will take some time),open odin.exe and you can see the device connected there.

I m using windows 10 and nothing showing after this..please help

you said you rooted your device,right?then try flashify app(play store)and flash recovery via that app.you can flash any recovery.(will recommend twrp because user-freindly)

Rom manager is not good? I tried on rom manager but not worked wait leme check this fashify

rom manager was good earlier...i don't use that now because it has some issues and it has not been updated for a while.

Flashify said you dont have root access even I have rooted my phone on kingoroot via pc .. even super user is there but flashify says no root access

backup your apps,apk,messages,call logs and reflash stock firmware.
don't root with knigroot or others..there are several guides available on xda for rooting grand 2,follow them.
king root makes your device vulnerable to hackers as it has no root controlling app.
you can also first install recovery,then flash supersu v2.46.zip .

which version of odin? i use odin v3.07 .

Help us to get Marshmallow beta - How to do a backup if you are a beta tester.

So, the general thread about the beta is a real mess, so here's one who will talks ONLY about the backup.
Only the people who have been selected as beta tester are supposed to reply in this thread, other don't have anything to do here!
Here's how to backup the firmware for us:

If you haven't already installed the beta BUT have been selected, do a backup of your TA partition: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
If you have already installed the beta, you can still backup your TA partition but you will have to flash an old Lollipop ftf first, root your device and then backup the TA.
Once done you can unroot and wait Marshmallow OTA who will come back
If something isn't clear or if you need help for any parts, just ask

Should work from TWRP using it own terminal or ADB.
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system of=/sdcard/system.img
Look it up :fingers-crossed:
(e.g. here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368121)
EDIT: Or if you are rooted you could even try it from the running system.

Im not sure if you have tried this but you can hotboot twrp, the screen will stay black but you should be able to use ADB

Somehow I cannot access to the recovery on mm... I downloaded the provided image and fastboot shows success and the phone even vibrates if I turn it on like in the description. But the phone just boots up normally...

You must be sure that you are on latest Lollipop firmware version before flashing MM... Because of new bootloader and recovery support.

[TWRP Backup] Desire 816 A5_DWG only (Dual Sim) - Official "MARSHMALLOW"

Hello ,
As we all know Desire 816 have received MM OTA update, i have created that backup of TWRP after testing it without any problem or bugs. Its a pure stock rom backup
Details :-
This is a Official Stock Rom Backup - no modifications and not rooted stable .
Supported Model : A5_DWG - Don't know about any other models
Current Mobile version : HTC Desire 816 A5_DWG "India" - Dual Sim
Software version : 3.14.720.1
How to install :- "I am not responsible for bricked devices"
This is not a flashable zip. Its a TWRP backup so just wipe all data and restore
1. Make sure you have TWRP recovery already installed
2. Take backup for all of your data on phone via TWRP (this will create a TWRP folder with your device ID automatically)
3. Download and extract and copy paste the backup to dir EXT_SDCARD/TWRP/BACKUPS/*YOUR DEVICE ID*/backup folder
4. Wipe your Phone (Factory reset) in recovery
5. Restore it via TWRP Recovery
6. Wait until restoration is complete and reboot device.:fingers-crossed:
7. Voila now you are on M6 when rebooted:highfive:
8. Factory reset once rebooted .:victory:
*Note: Folder name of 'Your Device ID' should be replaced with your phone's device ID

Yes you can, you have to wipe the current rom and restore this via TWRP recovery.

Restore it. Do not flash the zip. Extract the zip to TWRP/backups/your device ID/*MM restore folder*. enter recovery and wipe the data -system-cache (Factory reset) and then restore it
