[Q] Need LG IME for Openswift 2.2.1!!

Can any one can provide LG IME for Openswift 2.2.1 V4.4 please!!! I try install the LG IME FULL and LG IME 2.3 its working but i can add user dictionary can anyone can help me please!!!

I have found the perfect keyboard with user dictionary that works. It's an LG one but more spaced than the stock keypad one fishears offered. And the fact this one will operate a user dictionary is a massive plus.

What I did was back up the ROM keyboard first using Titanium. I then installed the keyboard fishears put on the previous page. (This may or may not be a vital step) Then remove the keyboard by uninstalling Through Titanium. Reboot. Put above AIME.APK file in the system > apps folder using Root Explorer and install from there with the R/W option at the top showing R/O. Set back to R/W when finished then test to see if it works. If not, try a reboot.[/CODE]

hey man how can i uninstall the LG IME because i install in the recovery way? because this file is in AIME but i can install it without unistall the recovery one

You have root explorer or any other try uninstalling from there..
go to:
/system/app
*you might need root permisions for remove a system app

Hmm its not bad but the quality of the dock and app drawer is not so good

I found a solution for this but the phone needs to be rooted and you have to create a few files manually.
Let me know if you are willing to do so.

Sorry for taking so long to answer the post.
The solution to the diccionary problem is this:
- Using root explorer go to /data and create a folder named "xt9" (the route should be like this: /data/xt9/ )
- Then inside "xt9" folder you'll need to create 2 files: "asdb.bin" and "udb.bin" and give full permissions to both of them (rwxrwxrwx).
- Reboot and now you should have fully working dictionary o your LG IME.

Says "invalid link"

'com.lge.fmradio.apk' is unavailable. This file was deleted.

So I put this in apps and set permissions. Doesn't show up after reboot.
Tried to install it, and it won't install. Am I missing something here?

Same. The manifest seems to reference some hidden menu. Anyway, it's beyond my understanding. Hopefully brighter minds can help

Same here. I get it to system/app and reboot. Nothing. Won't install for me either and I'm on art as well

It doesnt work like that guys,you cant just install it.It goes along with more than one file ( i think 3..) and there is work to be done possibly from a developer,in order for the phone to recognize it.

I was kind of thinking that we would need more then just the one file.

This. Works perfectly for Sprint LS980 - not sure about other carriers.

NextRadio only lists compatibility with some Sprint phones. I don't know if OP can somehow sideload it to make it work.

Any way to install the radio APK?
I have an international LG G2 (802), which came with a radio app.
I would like to reinstall it, now that I've install Cyanogenmod.

No - but you can use Mike Reid's Spirit2 - works well on CM11

You don't install it. You place both the apk and the odex in /system/app or /system/priv-app. You may need changing permissions, just set them like the other files in those folders.

Then it might not work if you're on 4.2.2 and you're trying to use a stock 4.4.2 app.
Or are you on 4.4.2?

Ok i see. Thanks tho.

I'm using a Flex rom on 4.2.2 and its Email app is awesome. The buttons are shifted around and it Reply/Forward popup only lists "Reply All" when there is more then 1 contact. On the normal Verizon email app, I kept accidentally hitting Reply All and sending the email back to me, which is stupid to include yourself in the "TO" field when Replying All.
I want to back them up and see if they work on the Verizon Stock.

It's made for the D802 version but it may works on other device
You need just a kitkat stock based rom

I recently tried to install the S5 launcher. It stopped everytime i tried to launch it. So im trying to get the stock launcher for GT-I9505 again. But it wont install. :'(
Any fix?

"It won't install"?
You have to push the SecLauncher3.apk to /system/priv-app, e.g.with root explorer.

People that don't know what they are doing should not mess with there's phones, then open countless threads on here asking for others to put right their mistakes.

Yep

If you install S5 launcher by apk you can uninstall simply by settings.If you replace file in System folder put the original touchwiz in it.

You need to try it man, make a backup first of your keyboard before doing this. It works on touchwiz on s4,s5 but no idea on s3 cm based roms.

It needs root... you can't just click and install the apk. You need to copy the apk to system > priv-app and set permissions to both folder and apk and then reboot

Oke I'll try on an another device. My main one isn't rooted because I don't want to lose my warranty. (I already needed it twice)

Remember it works only on touchwiz roms.. and for other phones it's 50-50 chance to succeed. Good luck. You should had quoted me in your reply may be you wouldn't had to wait for it this long

Guys, i need help i set a permission for folder rwxr-xr-x and rw-r--r-- for apk but when i try to select it i'm getting "Unfotunately, samsung keyboard has stopped" anyone know how to fix this?

Use root explorer. Permission is RW R R
Or simply see a youtube video that shows settings permission using root explorer... Best of luck..
