[Q] [HELP] TWRP loop after 20may update - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I have the lg g2 D802 (Kit kat stock rom) and I have installed twrp recovery, yesterday I was notified of a new update (V20c-MAY-20-2014), i downloaded it and proceed to install it. Since then I'm stuck on recovery, I select "reboot into system" but it always goes to twrp. Searching in the forum i found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696&page=34 and it worked but then i realised that the update wasn't installed...
Anyone know what should I do to get the update and not being stuck on the twrp loop?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry for my English, I'm from Uruguay (yes, the place where Pot is legal ¬¬)

Hola!!

[Q] Recovery and Rom for Huawei U8800Pro

I have a Huawei U8800Pro bought in China and I would like to change the Rom because this is a chinese version, although I can change the language into english.
Well, the steps to follow are:
1.- Root
2.- Install a recovery
3.- Install new Rom
1. For the rooting I have red about the Super Boot. Is there any other specific system for U8800Pro to root it?
2. About the recovery, I have seen the Unofficial CWM Recovery 5.0.2.3, but I'm not sure if this is compatible with the U8800Pro or just the U8800.
3. And finally, about the new Rom, I see that the custom Roms are still developing and they are not completly compatible with Pro version, so I decided to install the official Overseas General version, instead the Chinese version that I have now. But I don't know where to get the Pro official Rom. I found the U8800 V100R001C00B136 (Overseas General version) 2011-05-17, but I'm afraid this is for the non Pro version.
Any help, please?
Hey, I have bricked U8800 PRO. Read this two themes:
[Q] [HELP] phone bricked by flashing the latest frimware from Huawei
[Q] Bricked my phone. Need help!
Well, really thank you for your answer. Then I think that I will continue with the original rom at the moment.
Does it brick with the rooting or installing the recovery as well?

Did you change the rom as well?

Hi,
First of all I'm a spanish user with u8800PRO (ideos X5 Movistar)
It's possible to be root user with SuperOneClick app, it's really easy.
You can check the way in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
For install the CVM, follow this instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1291848
Works perfectly.
At this moment there isn't any custom ROM, we are still waiting really exciting!! I hope 2.3 official update will be at November.

There's no way to hardbrick your device by just flashing a rom with odin. I even could say that you can flash the N910H rom via odin without any kind of wipes over SweetRom which is almost the same build and the device would boot normally (some bugs might be appear here and there).
If you want to clean flash the new N910H firmware, head into CWM/TWRP and wipe data, cache and system, then put it in download mode and flash the firmware via odin.
Don't worry, just wipe everything I said earlier and flash it via odin. Should work fine without bugs.
Abrazo!

Well I thought you were using SweetRom 5.0.1 (N910C version), but if it's kiktat then you will need to do full wipes first obligatory, then flash LP. Enjoy!

Translation: We can't speak in other language rather than english if we don't put a translation below. It shouldn't be necessary to change the bootloader or modems because they're integrated with the md5 package you downloaded. If you downloaded a tar.md5 package for odin, you only need to do the necessary wipes and flash Lollipop via odin. I did the same with my old N7000 and my N910C, it's the same in every Galaxy device out there. If you need to upgrade from a custom rom to a stock rom with a newer android version the only intermediate step is wipe everything. Dont worry, you will not mess up anything. If you do, remember that you can go to the older version to revert the changes.
Suerte!/Good Luck!

It' s the same in every Galaxy device, even in your N910H! Don't worry you will not mess anything, just do it and your phone will boot up with Lollipop after 10 minutes aprox.

Marshmallow 6.0.1 Upgrade for Moto Maxx in México

Finally, today I was able to execute the system upgrade to my Moto Maxx. The mobile was never modified, it was bought at retail store and has been used with Telcel carrier in México. In the next posts I will share the screen captures of download and upgrade process.
First I will share the official announcement from Motorola about Marshmallow upgrade release for Moto Maxx in Latam
https://motorola-global-es-latam.cu...detail/a_id/110573/p/30,6720,9278/reg/3103597
The notice was posted last Sunday, July 17th of 2016. Since then, I wasn't able to get the upgrade option until Tuesday, July 19th at 5 pm CST.

It is not everyone that understands spanish.

Despite being a thread for the update of Moto Maxx in Mexico, this is not a mexican forum, but an international one.
I believe you all understand and can write and read in english, so why create a gueto only for you?
Besides, I also believe it is in the forum rules that everything should be written in english.
I'm currently on 5.0.2 and having problems to update to MM. My Moto maxx is rooted and have trwp recovery. I'm from Mexico and any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think you might need to reflash the original OEM ROM back onto the phone. There are a few threads for the Leon that explain how to do that, just make sure you get the KDZ file for your service provider.
