[Q] [IdeaTab A1000F] Driver disconnects after few seconds

Hi, i need some help. I have Lenovo Ideatab A1000-F with installed TWRP recovery, but i have one problem. If i connect turned off tablet on PC, the preloader (PreLoader USB VCOM Port) driver starts, but then after few seconds disconnects and tablet starts charging trough USB ... I want to flash something (AllegroROM) to it but when i have only 2-4 seconds its kinda bad ... I have installed all kind of drivers and trying it againg and again, but nothing works. (I think the problem is that i cant remove battery to avoid charging.. or? ) Maybe screenshot helps. Please help. Thanks.

Hi there. sorry i can't help you with your issue.... i was just wondering if you could perhaps post how were you able to install TWRP on your a1000l-f?

I found instructions on russian lenovo forum, one user have ported it and make it flashable from pc (and thats my problem - fast disconnect, so i cant flash large files - he also did his custom rom for it, but i cant flash it for my problem) . I hope i have helped PS: you must create account on that forum to show files

well,i can give u the original rom for this A1000F and the zip that u can install it of the TWRP without all those problems,i have them installed too and i didn't had any problems,actually i didn't went to any russian page to get them.
If anyone whant those 2 files and if the moderator will let me post the links to them,i will post them and let every1 take those 2 files
actually i will ask to developers,if they want the TWRP recovery zip for this device and look into it to see how that was done,maybe someone can actually do more,maybe make the CWM for it and maybe some new custom rooms,as i said,i have the original rom too and the TWRP recovery that can be very easy installed without all this problems

and for the second thing,which is the TWRP recovery,u need to get a simple free app from the google pstore called Recovery Tools and once u open it,and be4 that just pass on ur sd card this file,or on the usb internal memory the next file,just tap on the first line on the screen,in that app and load that file and executed,will finish pretty fast and don't even need to reboot,but when u get in the recovery mode,u will see the TWRP recovery mod and not the usual

i know that that file is wrong,the 1 of the russian,but the 2 that i've posted the links r right,not wrong,i used them and i have no problems at all of any kind,why would i want a flash rom that will give me something foulty ? better to have something that really works and are good.
oh,i forgot to mention that for the second zip file to install it,u need to have the device rooted and u can do it easy with a program called Kingo Android Root

It was ok for them, i dont know why not for me .. At least it worked one time.. And i never heard of it, i was trying to use all common root programs and nothing .. I will check it out, thanks

I Have a Xolo Q700i. I Wanted To Install (Xolo Q700s)'s Firmware on It as (Xolo Q700s)'s Firmware Version is Kitkat.

what i dnt understand is that was it is compulsory to do cwm recovery after rooting my xolo q700 for flashing q700i firmware ?
and why is it needed can anybody explain me.
help me for this, after rooting i downloaded cwm_xolo_q700.zip and extracted it to desktop. after scatter loading the proper mtk_****_.txt file, enabled the write memory, and in write memory section i put the rocovery.img with emmc memory setting, i did all steps correctly, then after switching off my phone. i waited for some seconds and then connected it with pc (with battery) and when it shows battery in phone i clicked on "write memory" button.but it didn't searched the device and helped me nothing for flashing that.
dude. plz tell me is i made any mistake at any step. . . small details like checksum and starting .exe as admin can solve the problem or any other suggestion ?
is there any alternate way then plz share it for me. thanks in advance.

Hey! Welcome....
It is not necessary to install CWM Recovry After Rooting. But if u want to install custom roms then u need it. And the mtk file... The thing is check if you have installed drivers. It IS not necessary to INSTALL CWM after Rooting.

thanks buddy, but still i m confused n scared in flashing even single q700i firmware. . .
don't know y, i read every detail about to flash q700i firmware on q700 for new rom , but i m stucked at even the first phase at SP TOOL FLASH. . . it didn't detecting my phone, i installed Mobistel_Cynus_T1_Drivers_x86.rar (3.03 MB) drivers still no action is there.. . .
suggest me any missing steps if u ever got confusion like me for the first time.
n plz tell me for this all, q700 device needs to be rooted, right ? no matter by any method . . . or there must be compulsory method for this ?

Drivers not installed properly

Note 4 5.1.1 root failed, stuck in restart loop, please help me

Hey guys, I kinda really need your help a lot,
I tried rooting my Galaxy Note 4 5.1.1 (SM-N910C), as shown in a youtube video (I can't link outside of the side, it was the ''Root the galaxy Note 4 on Android 5.0 Lollipop'' from Tim Schofield).
The video basically had me download Odin and restart into download mode and use a CF-root file. Apparently I am a complete idiot who didn't realize that I have 5.1.1 of lollipop.
I had the reactivation lock on off as well.
When I tried to run Odin as shown in the video however, it said 'succes' but my phone got stuck in a reboot loop. It just kept rebooting and rebooting, and even me removing the battery didn't fix it.
I have tried wiping the cache and doing a factory reset, as was advised when someone else asked a similar question. That didn't fix it.
I tried downloading the stock ROM for 5.1.1 as advised in an article (after reading somewhere that the problem could have been caused by using an original tar file for a former firmware, which seems to be correct) but when I try to load the tar md5 file into Odin, the program freezes and I can't do anything.
Please, I beg you to help me,I've been looking for a solution for the past 3 hours. If this isn't the right place to post this, I'm sorry and please refer me to a more suitable place.

Possibly you got a bad odin download. Go here to download your stock rom. After selecting your file, at the bottom of the page will be a download link for odin with flashing instructions. After flashing this should get you back to a working stock ROM. Then flash your custom recovery with odin. Then you can boot into your custom recovery and flash any custom ROM zip file. Custom ROMs usually come rooted already or if stock is your preference pick up an already rooted stock ROM for your phone in the forums.

Did you try waiting for a while?
Odin checks the tar file to ensure that it matches the checksum so that you won't hard brick due to a broken tar file.

Do not forget to run Odin as administrator

Wich CF Auto root did you flashed ?
I can suggest you to flash a recovery for the N910C ONLY and try to flash a CM rom.

i dont know too much bro , i need root note 4 for clash of clan ,i try a lot but fail. today i watch xda video on youtube and i try the same method to root my mobile. but this time its going restart agin and again now . i am from UAE dubai . this is my mobile model SM n910c Note 4. plz plz plz help me what to do step by step, what to download and how to apply plzzzzzzzzzzz help

this was the zip file which i unzip and try step by step (CF-Auto-Root-trelte-treltexx-smn910c) here i find some file like odin exe i run it then mobile on download mode then connect to laptop then it show that it connect successfuly then i load file . after that my mobile now restarting.

Download Odin v3.10.7
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.10.7
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Now it change to N910CXXU1COI4. what does it mean ? am i did it ok or wrong? but my cell is working fine like before.

1ANIF is probably older version and COI4 a recent one. Because COI4 is based on 5.1.1 on 1NAF dont know.

This just happened to me. I was able to flash a 5.1.1 kernel that allowed for root and my phone then booted.

As with one of the posts made over at leeco.re the forum post link is broken, you can't always grab a link as part of a larger text selection, you need to right click on the link and select to copy the link.
Also, it would be nice to have an actual kernel to download for those who don't have a suitable build environment, nothing I have found with your info points to or provides a downloadable kernel which suggests that as of now it is vapour-ware.

Hey, Thanks for replying! I can provide u the zImage only as I am not yet able to flash just the kernel zImage directly from zip via recovery so i simply create a new boot.img and flash tht! If u want then I can simply provide you with zImage also! I will post the link here soon!

For people who dont know whats zImage or what is the difference between zImage and Boot.img
Please please dont flash it directly via recovery as img file u will surely mess your boot partition and i wont be held responsible for tht!

If you have no idea of linux or ROM development it is recommended that you don't do anything as it will be a waste of time for you

But although, I personally feel ashamed cuz of that video. AOPS ROM neva gave me 6hrs sot, the dev asked me to say so, so that he could get people to download it. AOPS is nothing more that AOSP with material UP theme and few more tweaks. Anyways, thnx for sharing

It would be best if you could do a step by step guide for some newbies who doesnt know how is the procedure on flashing/installing the kernel on their phone...

huh this is not a procedure or anything
this is a kernel required to build a ROM

Ok so my friend flashed the zimage from recovery and the phone is not booting up. I tried to recover it by flashing the stock rom with flashtool but no effect. Can't even go to either recovery or fastboot. Help me to get it back working. Thanks in advance.

Seriously? How you flashed zImage via recovery?
Flashed it in boot partition??
I already warned u guys i guess not to do it!

I don't even own the device he did renamed the file with root explorer and flashed as a kernel lol. But i tried flashing whole firmware through sp flashtool but the device wasn't booting. Got it working by completely formatting through flashoot (even the bootloader). It did wiped his imeis too lol. but got them fixed with engineering mode. so chill everything is under control. Hope you build a great kernel for that device.

Ok don't worry help is here,
1) Get your firmware. It will contain rom, flashtool, drivers. Install drivers first, install minimal adb and fast boot drivers too.
2) Open flashtool got to advanced format options it's on the other tab. Select complete wipe include bootloader.
3) Flash the rom, it'll have a txt page with instruction about it or Google it if you still have problems ask me.
4) wait till the process ends and your phone will be back.
5) You will have no imei(s) in your device and it won't recognize sim card. Get toolhero app it will set you imei(s) and for God's sake write them somewhere you can reach anytime cause they will disappear everytime you factory reset/wipe/change roms/ and it's a stupid thing that toolhero requires Internet to set the imei(s) so keep a Hotspot or WiFi near while next time you experiment with your device. Hope this helps.

Try flashing imei using latest Maui meta software.
Latest Maui meta works for our Lenovo k4 note.

Yup even I don't have backup of original ROM I use Dotos backup.if you want you can just backup nvram and nvram data..

Brother let me tell you one thing that is download latest firmware s232 from trusted site and install all USB drivers very carefully and use Spotify flash tool with format+download then press ok.
After flashing do not turn on your device one more time do not turn your device on.
And download latest meta Maui tool from chrome and open it after opening it you run this program by administrator and press connect after that you take Cable and connect it with your device and press the volume buttons and you will be connected soon.
After that the you can select IMEI download and open it after that you need to load a nvram database file that comes with your firmware it is placed in the modem folder and file name is BPLGUImt6753 and select it and select sim 1 and write it's IMEI then flash it and select sim 2 and write it's IMEI and flash it.
Now you have flashed your Lenovo vibe k4 note.
And turn it on and you have volte enabled smartphone with IMEI and you can flash new recovery and use miui 9 because it is stabled ROM and beat ROM for volte because Lenovo stock volte is not working properly so you can try it I am also using miui 9.
I faced same problem and fix it by myself.
So you can also do it just do in a proper manner.

I tried nearly all tools but not all.it may happen that I may not know to operate tools but I used internet and used from IMEI editor,champleon to mauieta and sn tool.....

finally i did it...got back my imei ....
i was doing a minute mistake in maui meta tool
i was not changing sim increment value from 0 to 1 thats why everytime i was gettting FLASH TO IMEI TIMEOUT error...and no one told me to do so...im happy that i figured out it my own

i been trying to seek the solution for this problem but until now zero luck. i guess i am needing help with you guys and if possible give me step by step and by the way maui meta is showing RF Tool on that box when it is opened and in the videos that i saw before it is showing IMEI download. can anyone explain this for me please. all help is needed thankyou

I too faced similar problem.
Try IMEI generator and real IMEI changer from playstore.
One of them worked for me, I don't exactly remember which one.
