Hi, new here on this forum my wife bought my daughter a tab 4, itsversiin is 4.4.2 i wanted to root it but when i check the forum theres no SM-T231 on the roms available. I have a note 3 under omega 25.1 LP. Can anyone help me wih my daughters tab and suggest a good rom. Alsonif a root my daughters tab can she use "whatsapp"? Thanking you guys in advance.

There are almost no roms for T23X because it's not a very popular device and has even lesser-known SoC (Marvell PXA1088).
You can still root the device using odin to flash recovery and then SuperSU zip in the recovery. (Link to the recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=28382 )
Root does not break whatsapp.

[Q] the screen doesn't go ahead the galaxy grand 2 screen after installing a rom

I was using gennxt kitkat superior after that i installed cm 12.1.....after sometime i tried to install note 4 rom on my grand 2 everything goes well but when i rebooted my device the screen doesn't went ahead the boot screen which shoes samsung galaxy grand 2 after that i tried to install again gennxt kitkat superior......it installed properly bt at the time of reboot again it doesn't went ahead galaxy grand 2....i can't able to see the samsung logo.....plz help???

Dnt flash Amy other ROMs on cm ROMs. Make backup of working ROMs. Flash stock firmware for now and make cwm backup if it.

Question about Kies3 and My Galaxy grand prime

Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums I hope I'm posting in the right place. I have some concerns regarding my phone and Samsung kies3. I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Model G530AZ and I'm on version 4.4.4 my phone is currently rooted. I am pretty positive I made an error using a app to change my boot animation. The result when my Phone is powered on/rebooted it boots directly to Recovery mode. I have to press the power button and choose the option to reboot my phone and it boots up normally. This also happens when my phone is powered off and I plug it in to charge it. I have an issue with SuperSU it doesn't update Properly. If I use Samsung Kies3 to Update my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (G530AZ) will it be safe? I'm afraid of it being bricked I want to update due to 5.1.1 being released mid November. I want to ask will flashing my phone this way fix my boot up issues? Any Help would be appreciated thanks everyone!

CWM for galaxy grand prime? expert help?

i got my straight talk galaxy grand prime rooted with king root... and i guessi have to get CWM to ge a stock recovery or something.. i really ont know the language that users use.. (i.e. stock recovery, flashing, etc etc) and anyways i wanted to get like Cyanogen mod or some other rom thing and i was told to get myself a recovery dohickey using CWM, buthow do i get it? i got rom manager and it says to look for your device to set it up but my galaxy grand prime isnt listed.. so what do i do?

Nandroid Backup Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Duos Cricket(sm-g530az)

Please, i´m desperate :crying:. Someone who has a nandroid backup of the samsung sm-g530az that could give me. I really need that backup, my Samsung is dead, and I can´t flashing in cwm. Odin don´t recognize my smartphone in download mode, and Samsung kies don´t help me. I had a backup, but i can´t find it. Thank you so much! :laugh:
