Hello everybody,
Im very new to this forum but i have a serious problem.
I was trying the s5 phone and contacts on my i9505 and i found out that it wasn't working properly so i deleted secphone.apk. I rebooted my phone and now it keeps saying "the process com.android.phone had stopped". i cant acces anything so what should i do? I just factory reset my phone and that didn't work either
i'm sorry for my bad english
Please can somebody help me ?
What android u were using? Android 4.2.2, 4.3 or 4.4.2? Do you have installed Custom Recovery?
I have CWM installed, rooted and 4.4.2 kitkat installed and i have the original stock rom
Happened to me
you need to download the original secphone.apk again and put it into the priv-app folder
or flash stock again via odin then do a factory reset
and factory reset alone will do nothing
Do you know where i can get the original secphone.apk and maybe the original seccontacts.apk?
idont know, maybe you can try to flash stock then wipe data
if you have an i9500 I can upload the apps for you
but Im not sure if you can install i9500 apps on i9505
Im downloading the stock rom now. i hope this will work.
I found out that when i remove my SIM card the problem is gone and when i re-insert my SIM the problem is back again and i cant get past the PIN acces menu
dont worry its will work

Hi guys,
I'm new with all this rom stuff. But right now I'm using CyanogenMod and I wanted to go back to stock so I found omega rom and I am having problems trying to install this rom. What happens when I install it is that it goes though all the processes then it gets to the end where I can reboot it but then it says I don't have my phone rooted when I know it is already rooted. So it asked if I want to install SuperSU again so I did and it just goes to the downloading screen and doesn't do anything. I tried it again without install SuperSU but it's still the same thing. I have tried full wiping the device (wipe everything) but I still get the same thing. Can anyone please help me?
Thanks in advance!

Hiya guys need some help
I have a galaxy s4 gt-i9505 that I had running the Google play edition ROM
Then my wife ordered a galaxy gear for my birthday (early January)
I tried to put the latest carrier ROM on through Odin and it flashed OK but kept coming up with procces.android.acore has stopped
I did some googleing and then re-flashed the ROM but clicked the wipe button and it flashed OK
But when it restarted it got stuck in a bootloop and wouldn't get past the Samsung logo
I then flashed twrp recovery and managed to get 4.4 ROM on there (but it seems really laggy and drops calls everytime)
I have tried to recover my backup but twrp can't see it and the cwm recovery won't flash on
So how do I either get stock back on my phone or a ROM that will accept the gear and isn't laggy or buggy
Thanks in advance for the help guys

Download the triangle away app. (search google or xda)
Download the latest Samsung ROM from Sammobile.com
Enter in recovery mode and WIPE all data,
Flash the ROM via ODIN.
When its done, enter in recover again and make another wipe.
If u get a successful boot, and if u have a new bootloader(knox) u wont be able to use WIFI, u'll need to use Triangle away to wipe the binary counter. SO then u will need to REFLASH the ROM.
After all of this, u should get the phone working fine.
Sorry for the text. ;o
IF U DONT HAVE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (KNOX), JUST WIPE THE SYSTEM BEFORE AND AFTER FLASHING.
Good luck, bro.

also have to admit i was freaked out that you knew i was on voda ..... till i realised it was in my profile lol
ok so i did all of the above with the correct firmware and again it just keeps saying acore ?? process stopped ..so i had to flash back through to the 4.4 rom then flash cwm on and restore my old 4.3 rom
i tried a wipe through odin and that just caused a bootloop again
any other ideas on how to get back to stock ??

Mate, try this steps:
1. Flash stock recovery
2. Flash stock rom from sammobile
3. wipe
The gear only works with stock rom 4.3
ok so i tried everything nothing worked and i got stuck in a constant bootloop
then i tried flashing it with odin 3.09 .......all was going well till it failed and left me with nothing on the phone at all
i re-tried with through 3.07 and this time it worked
i now have stock on my phone thankfully
thanks for all the help guys

Hello Guys
I have a greek Note 3, I had recently Android 4.3 with root and Omega Rom.
After a few days the Poland KitKat update came out, I installed it ( with all routine procedures, like format data/system, cleand cache/factory reset etc etc )
Now I have a problem: after phone startup, the following message appears:
"unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped"
untill i press "ok", the phone won't take signal or work right. After I press it, it work well :/
What can I do? is a known bug? I've tried everything (like format cache of telephone.apk and contacts.apk), but nothing worked.
Thank U
PS now i've noticed that I got no sound plug in/out when in charge.
PPS sorry for my bad eng

Flash THIS
EDIT: Explanation: you warped your EFS folder flashing custom ROMs, it happens sometimes,so don't be too alarmed.
Hi!
Thx for your help, I flashed the zip but the fix dind't work :/
I don't think is a problem with the EFS partition ( I never touch it ).
Now i'm trying to flash one more time the Poland KitKat, then I'll root and flash that Zip.... hoping that is this the right way.

Hi,
Please, keep us informed of any solutions you might have found. I'm having a similar problem with a UK Note 3 - processes stop like there's no tomorrw, constant framework reboots - practically on any of the custom KitKat ROMs as well as the stock ones. Tried flashing with different Odin versions and using differrent stock firmwares - Polish, Dutch, etc. - same thing.
The EFS fix did not work for me - the thing is, you don't have to have touched the EFS partition to warp it. But in my case this didn't work.
So, please, let us know if you find any solution
Nick.
You need to format your entire system, custom recovery find /format system delete all and flash a custom ROM see if it fixes. Grab a pit file just in case you need to repartition also!

Make sure you are using the correct version of X-Note. If its the kitkat version then you have to already be on kitkat. Also, you could try Temasek's CM11 port. That worked for me . Make sure you backup your EFS partition (basically backup ALL partitions in TWRP/CWM or use EFS Pro). Don't want you making the same mistake that I made.
I have fixed the problem by going into the cmw and did the following:
Delete system files
Delete Cache
Delete Partition
Format Sd card
Format all user data
After i did the following, X note did work. I think i did the same process i could be able to install the the stock ROM.
Thank you anyway.
same problem

Format partition
Hi
Go to recovery , hold power, home and volume up while booting to enter recovery , if you have have CWM recovery , select mount and storage. you need to format your SD card, format system, clear cache data ansd clear partition, basicallt format whatever you see that says formart. then try reinstalling x note.
NOTE : THIS WILL WIPE YOUR ENTIRE SD CARD DATA !!!!
Please give a thanks up if your problem is solved. Thank you

And, wats the best v to install.....
v15
Well I dont know the latest version but v15 should do. Visit XDA xnote page for the latest info regarding xnote firmware.
Thank you
. I solved the problem and installed the latest version 18
First of all thank you very much for your help. I solved the problem and installed the latest version 18. Beginning it stuck in my after installation as before ... but what I did was to install another kernel that is what solved my problem and I am currently using fun at x-note v 18. Thanks for the help ... If someone encountered a similar problem feel free to install kernel that suits his area.
Hi I need desperate help
two days ago I went from CM11 to S4I9505 Google Play Edition ROM 5.0.1 and everything was running perfectly. Today I used an app known as "ROM Installer" to flash TWRP easily which it did but I couldnt go back to normal menus and it kept on booting back to Recovery. So I wiped everything and installed the same ROM as it is in my External SD. It was successful but it still would boot to recovery and nothing would work. So I thought my option was to unroot the phone. I used the XDA Unroot/Unbrick guide and used an Android 5.0. Lollipop firmware to flash the stock firmware (second time every using Odin, the first was disastrous and I hated it). I flashed the official stock and it is running but cannot activate WiFi what so ever. It just refuses to toggle. So I reflashed the stock firmware again and it still doesn't work. I was thinking of somehow downgrading to KitKat, use CM Installer which is how I initially rooted the phone and revert to a CWM backup that I made before I flashed the S4 GPE ROM and start over. However I tried using that CM Installer and since im on Lollipop it would refuse to work and I really wanna get back to how everything was before :'( I really dont know what to do (No warranty or anything on this S4) All I can do is make calls and texts. Please help!
fixed!
I've fixed it! Its all back on stock with the all that bloatware and useless features only problem now is whether there is a way to deleted this thread
