Greeting
how can I get Miracast working on my nexus 7 2012 it was working on 4.3 after update to 4.2.2 it stop working
question is 4.4.3 will this get my nexus 7 working or should I go back to 4.3 and which rom any help appreciated
many thanks
:fingers-crossed:

It seems to be related to Miracast rather than the OS. So I don't think that 4.4.3 will change things for you.
Hope this helps.

[Q] Nexus 7 3g (2012) - Bad 3G reception after 4.3 update

I recently purchased Nexus 7 3G..
It was having 4.2.1, I recently upgraded it to 4.3 using fastboot.
When it had 4.2.1, 3G was working awesome(1.5Mbps).. after upgrade very bad 3G reception(10Kbps).
I googled, many people are having the same issues, but no one had the solution to fix it.
Any one here knows how to fix it ??
If no one, can I revert back to my older version 4.2.1 ??
Thanks in advance
I also recently updated to 4.3 and there is no issue with 3G. I think it was the network problem rather than 4.3. If it is the problem of 4.3, Google will fix it soon.

4.3 update

I have a nexus 7 which is rooted with wug fresh toolkit. It shows i am running 4.3 jellybean. I just got an update yesterday that the tablet wants me to install that is for 4.3 jellybean... The notification is in the upper left of my screen and wont go away. Not sure what to do or why its asking me to upgrade to 4.3 because i have it already. Should i install it?
thanks
It's a patch for several problems created by the 4.3 update.
Sent from my Nexus 7(2012) that has zero issues.
But since your rooted it won't update. There is a thread in General Nexus that explains and has solutions.

I too have a nexus 7 (2012) rooted with WUGfresh. It runs fine while 4.3 seems to have all sorts of problems on the Nexus 7 (2013) which is already on update #3. So I'm reluctant to upgrade to 4.3 till they solve its bugs.
What essential improvement does 4.3 bring over 4.2.2?
Ok thanks everyone, ill take a look for the other thread

Nexus 7 (2012) 4.4

Hello everyone,
I just recently updated to kitkat and am wondering what new features come for the nexus 7 . I read quiet a bit about the features online but they are either don't apply to the 2012 nexus 7 or i just can't find them . I did stumble upon this nexus 7 thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2506506
It seems to have most things that I believed would be updated. I installed the Google launcher and love it . So do I need to install all these updates manually even after the official 4.4 update ?
Thank you for the help

[Q] Updated non rooted Nexus 7 to Kitkat and touch stopped working

Hi I have a non rooted Nexus 7, I replaced the screen a few months ago and everything was OK. This weekend I got OTA Kitkat and after restarting the touchscreen just stopped responding.
I guess the screen frimware is not compatible with kitkat, is there any way to go back to 4.3? Or how do I change the screen firmware?
Thanks
My nexus 7 2013 upgraded last night and then touch screen seems less sensitive.
A reboot seems to have helped.

I got the kitkat ota on my 2012 nexus 7 3g and the screen seems fine here.
Edit: sorry I don't know if you can safely go back to 4.3
