Android/OBB

So I tried downloading some games and most of them required me to put sd data to android/obb folder. But the problem is that every time I tried to move/copy the file into obb folder, it shows me a error and will not let me copy/move files into obb folder. Is there any solution to this? I have googled everywhere but with no luck.
I am using the SGS4 I9500.

Android - OBB solution
I too had the same problem when tranfering from my PC to the phone.
The only solution I found until now is to copy to the external SD card, then from your phone use a file manager to copy from the SD to the Obb folder.

I had same thing this morning. Couldn't copy over obb folder so had to copy the gully trees rather than move them

i installed an apk game, nba 2k13 on my samsung s4 device, I use astro manager to move the folder to android/obb/ folder,,, now I want to move the nba game to my memory card, but it wont, on application the move to sd is not enabled.... any help??????

Thats the problem with most apps, if you move the data to the external sdcard the game/app doesn`t work anymore. So unfortunately not possible bro

You cannot move that app to sd, coz game dev has not permitted.
Unless your phone is rooted.

[Q] Cant Copy files to Obb Folder

I Have Galaxy Grand 2 GT-SM7102. I Have Downloaded GTA SA obb files but it is not copying to obb folder .By PC It Stuck at 99.99% And From Phone It Stuck At 50%.I Have Tried Many File Explorer But None Of Them Working Same Thing Happen With Asphalt 8 Obb files.It Also Creates mtptemp when i try to copy.
Pls Help

I also have this problem. I just remove my memmory card and copy to it using a card reader.
Then copy it to the obb folder using xplore filemanager. That thing always works

THANKS IS NOT SOMETHING TO SAVE, IT'S SOMETHING TO GIVE OUT

Instead of using a Card Reader you can also just simply copy the files to the root of your extSdCard and then move it to Sdcard0/Android/obb using ES or any other File explorer works for me

1. copy files ti ext sd
2. using es file explorer copy or move the files to android/obb folder in internal memory
3. this would copy the data

[Q]: S5 ~ games obb file missing?

Hi guys..
just want to know what seems to be the problem with my phone.
i've installed GTA: SA this afternoon and played for about an hour.
and now when i wanted to play again it says that the downloading of the data/obb file of the game had failed, then i checked the obb folder on on my device the obb file is gone, so i decided to uninstall the game. when i checked on my storage it says that i have 5.27gb available space when it suppose to be 7gb+ because i uninstalled the game.
Where is the 2gb+ memory? how can i retrieve it without the option of doing a factory reset. Please help. Thank you
P.S. ~ i'm on Android Lollipop 5.0 flashed firmware from poland

Factory reset don't touch in the sdcard. Try a treesize or similar app on you card

hi i tried using gl to sd to move game data to my sdcard like nfs no limit and dead trigger but i failed when i open nfs it start downloading data also there is enough space in the sdcard plz teach me how to use it ?
