To answer your question: If it says there is a update, then there is a update. Just download and install it.

so,, no new update i guess... i use original and modified it...
maybe it depends on the region whether you get the update or not?
cauz i got the update 2 days before it was posted here
It's simply because SE suite compares the original firware with the latest firmware database, and yeah, when your software is modified (even by yourself) SE recognizes it as firmware other than the latest one (the NOT-modified version)... and Voila, you get a fake update notification, just to chill your bones!
I run stock SE 2.1 firmware and have just got an update notification this morning
So what is your SI number? I wanna try it.

Hi guys i am having an problem .i bought an galaxy note 3 in italy.in first i have option to update to kitkat but i skipped..but latter i try to upgrade or update by going to setting>about device>software update but it says you have the latest update..but i can see in android version it is still 4.3
kindly help me if why i can not update?is samsung stop rolling update?

Check update through Kies3 on your PC.

Unless you're located in Mexico and have the N900W8, or you're located in Poland, you won't get the update yet. Please be patient.

I have a Galaxy S4 unlocked Argentina, model GT-9500 Android 4.3 baseband version I9500UBUEMK1
Two days ago, checking for OTA upgrades, I was surprised that a new upgrade was available (I think it was about 390 Mb), so I suppose it is 4.4.2 kitkat (great!).
However, I was not ready to accept the download at that time because my battery charge was not at full, then I canceled after a partial download.
Today, I´m ready to apply the upgrade, but ... it is not available anymore: I receive a message "The latest upgrades have been applied".
Is it that Samsung retired the upgrade, or that my phone "thinks" that it was upgraded because of that partial download ?? In such a case, how can I go back with my phone to the point before the partial upgrade download ?

Samsung haven't android 4.4.2 for ur device with CSC: Argentina. This update was a minor one that was installed for sure unknowingly. OTA or Kies 3 doesn't lie. Enjoy ur latest version till KitKat arrives :highfive:

Thank you for your feedback, but ... no, this upgrade was not applied since I have aborted its download. Also, I keep a screenshot of my "About device" to follow upgrades, and nothing have changed.
My oppinion is that there WAS an upgrade there, but it was removed.
I have checked SAMMOBILE for the kitkat upgrade for my country, and it is not available. However, in the past, the 4.3 upgrade was published OTA, and SAMMOBILE reported it a week later...
Anyone had the same symptom as me ??

I am from India, its 16 Jan in IndiaI still havent recieved my Lollipop update OTA to my nexus 4 device. I am not sure if it is the problem with the existing rom or not. When I check system update it always say "up to date". Please help me in this regards. If OTA is not working can I manually flash it with factory image of android 5.0.1 ?

I have the ZUK Z1 over a month now, and I always getting this update notification that I haven't done yet because i'm afraid it has bugs and stuff. Therefore i'm here asking you if anybody knows about this Update.

It's a big update that introduces March security fixes and also a gyroscope bug. Luckily, if you update, you'll receive another OTA with the fix for that.
what's your current build version now?
i want to go back to that version to see if that update gives me bad battery life
