Hello,
If you find a Bug please post it.
But i hope it is bug free ;-P
Doesn't seem to let me change the lockscreen wallpaper so that it is different from the home screen wallpaper. Also tried on my Z (C6603) phone and have the same issue

Factory reset....! :good:
Nope no lockscreen bug. Everything works fine. BUT: The Settings Scroll Animation is kinda laggy. Not as smooth as it was on 4.3. And when installing Apps the Tablet is also very laggy. Same on Xperia Z. But this is something i could live with. I have a sd card inserted and there are no problems like the Samsung ones.
But i have one question: How can i activate the Immersive mode? I could´t find it in the settings. I used All-in-one Gestures to get into it. But it looks like Sony made Xperia Home and Media Apps not compatible with it.

ok, what to do with laggy settings, animation ect.
First: Root >>> in settings turn on developer options (if you dont know how to make developer options visible go to "about tablet menu" in Settings and click serval times build number") and turn on "Force GPU rendering", in next step install seeder 2.0 apk (in google can you find everything) and set moderate performance profile, then download from Play Store "No-frills Cpu Control and setup Interactive Profile Apply everything on boot and reboot
now this firmware ist a devil XD
P.S.
sorry for my english, ect.

My Battery is fine. After one day i have about 20% left. I don't have many apps installed, so its difficult to say, but the important ones like twitter, spotify, timely, cloud magic, dropbox and the verge are working fine. They were lagging before i changed the settings. But right now it´s all working good. Maybe some other apps may be lagging, but for me its good to go.
I'm finding that when I swipe to unlock it launches the most recently used app (even if I went back to homescreen before locking).

This is normal. Unfortunately google removed all the code for a Tablet UI
I still get some some screen jitters with the keyboard in landscape. Less than on 4.3.
Otherwise, no bugs yet

Well, I this bought this cellphone a few months ago, and today I tryed a new Launcher. In the Android Market I downloaded the Launcher Pro (free version) and the Zeam Launcher.
So, after install they, I long-pressed in TouchWiz homescreen and selected the "Actives", with a home icon. I selected this and appeared a black screen. I just used 'back' button and for my surprise the TouchWiz was in landscape view!
I don't know at all, but isn't possible, right?
Now, everytime I put the phone on horizontal in TW the screen become in landscape.
It's a bug or it's normal?
P.S.: And sorry for my english lol

Hi I've just flashed foxhound rom 0.8 on to my s4 but when I go to change my lock screen wallpaper, the option to choose from gallery is not there. only from the default wallpapers. for home screen the options come out but not for lock screen. Any idea why? I can't Post on the developers thread yet. so if anyone has a solution or could help me post there it would be much appreciated. a couple of guys asked about it before but no one gave a solution.
Thanks.

What launcher are you using? How about navigating to your preferred image in Gallery, then trying to set it as wallpaper from there?
Im using Nova Launcher. Ive tried that too. I can only set as Wallpaper, not Lock screen Wallpaper. I cant ask the foxhound developers as i cant post there yet since i just signed up.
Hmm noticed the same thing here. Previous on TW, able to set lock screen wallpaper from gallery or from settings. Now on Google Edition, doesn't seem to have this option

Note that doing the next few steps will reset your default app preferences, disabled apps etc.
In Settings, Application Manager, hit menu then Reset App Preferences.. read the warning!
This would help IF whatever's causing your problem is actually a 3rd party app that "clashes" (in a way) with the stock Gallery app
edit: also.. if that doesn't help, maybe try changing wallpapers from within touchwiz launcher, THEN relaunch nova
Tried to do what you said adrian, but still no go. When i click on display, wallpaper, lock screen, still only shows me one option there 'wallpapers' . No gallery or option for any 3rd party picture viewer. Could someone maybe help me post on the foxhound 0.8 for i9505 thread?
Thanks alot.

Installed Android 4.4 via adb sideload onto 2x Nexus 4 and 1x Nexus 7 (2012). Installation was smooth as the rom is stock (un-rooted).
While trying to change the wallpaper (which I used earlier in 4.3), the wallpaper does not center anymore. Tried with multiple wallpapers meant for Nexus 4 and 7 respectively.
I later launched airdroid and saw --> com.android.wallpapercropper running in the background and consuming anywhere between 33-44MB of RAM.
The cropping tool to select the wallpaper no longer appears in Android 4.4. Anyone else facing similar issues?

solved?
ok i figured out how to center my wallpaper image on the lockscreen.
using the oem launcher, on the desktop, swipe from left to right, to the last screen on the left...
hold down finger on screen till choose wallpaper option comes up, pick image from gallery and save as wallpaper....
shut off screen via power button press, press power button to wake device to lock screen...
image should be center on lock screen.. if its not, you didn't do it right, try again.
default screen in stock launcher is the screen all the way to the left... lame but whatever.
now you can set your default launcher to your choice, ie NOVA - APEX - WHATEVER and your lockscreen wallpaper is aligned

The problem happens when we set any photo as wallpaper, after restarting the phone, the picture appears as if it had applying a zoom.
have the same problem
I have the same problem with Nexus 7 2013 on KitKat.
Because the photo wallpaper will automatically zoomed in, now I'm using 3rd party wallpaper apps.
I'm just wondering how the app set wallpaper without being zoomed in. If the logic of setting wallpaper is the same, it should be zoomed.

That works for the centering, but after the power cycle the image (if a huge res is used) is blown up to a section of the picture and not how it was originally set as.
It's crazy that it lets you use a whole image for the wallpaper yet when the device rotates or power cycles it buggers it all up..
I had the same problem on stock 4.4.2. I even f-reset my nexus 4 but uh it didn't worked. in wallpaper cropper, if you choose it as is (positioning), it will be positioned in the hard left screen, so choose the half of the image like this
G4 stock DPI is 640, I've managed to put this down to 540 without any issues, but it's still way too high for me. I would really love 440 but loads of stuff, including stock camera and more importantly settings, force closes. I really didn't want to have to unlock the bootloader but it looks like I might have to as soon as a new ROM is available.

Yep, confirmed it works with Nova. But found another issue. When it was set to 560, with the camera app in manual mode, you are unable to change the focus to full "zoomed out" or the camera app crashes.
I'm going to leave DPI for now...don;t want the camera to be affected.

I don't have that problem on 540, manual focus works fine. Why all OEMs have to be so limiting on DPI really is beyond me. It can't be that hard to make apps work on lower DPIs.

Well all I can say is bring on root so we can get Xposed going. And Viper4Android. That's the one I'm really missing more than anything. OEMs need to talk to that guy about paying him to include it in their roms.

Can anyone else try this for me please? Modify your DPI and reboot. Then open the camera app, go to manual mode and select manual focus [MF] then scroll the wheel all the way up (toward the mountain icon). Strange - I can replicate it everytime. Oh well I'll put up with it for now.
Another issue I have is that while Nova works great with custom DPI, the lockscreen shortcut icons are all blank white icons. I assume because this is still using the stock lockscreen which doesn't like the 560 DPI. Are you seeing this?

I can also confirm this, with 560 DPI, the camera FC when i zoom all the way out but 540 DPI works fine.
I use nova, the stock launcher has a number of glitches at anything but standard DPI. And the lockscreen is LG's stuff so yeah white icons. I have a quick circle case and when I close it the analog clocks are to small and off center. The digital clocks with weather work fine (?!), funny thing is the white "ring effect" when closing the cover is way of center, even though I use the digital clock that fits. Weirdness....
When I had samsung devices in the past developers sooner or later released modified stock apps that worked with most DPIs. It's probably going to happen here to ...

After I updated to Oreo I noticed that most of my apps were missing from the app scaling list, and the scaling button on the nav bar is not there when I open the app.
Whereas on Nougat I could force any app to go fullscreen from this menu, I seem to be stuck with black bars now on some apps, e.g. fruit ninja.
Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks.

? Wonder how the drawer background could cause the app not to scale properly
I am using evie launcher, I have tried to force all app scaling to 18:9 and still cant get the launcher to have the home group buttons transparent. It used to work but not with oreo. Any help?
I think we're helpless unless LG releases an update or some dev makes a workaround.
Just in case anyone else likes using evie launcher but has been annoyed by it not scaling properly. (Or anyone that just likes the search feature of evie) I found an app called Fast Finder that I bound to a swipe gesture in Nova Launcher. It's a pretty good app, could use more customization but I'm hopeful that the dev will improve it.
Basically, I gave up on trying to get it scaled properly.
