Kind of a big favor but can anyone who's running last night carbon nightly (5/18/14), flash comodose 3.5 & KT latest version & let me know if you guys are getting any freeze ups when doing random simple task, I want to know if its a user issue or just the rom, thanks guys

hey everyone,
for a couple days now I have a weird and really annoying problem wich keeps getting worse. Almost every time now I make or receive a call my phone hangs up on me. most of the time right after a couple milliseconds, sometimes after a couple seconds. Tried to change kernel, and modem, but both didnt help...
Am running SlimICS 4.0 atm with Semaphore 1.2.5s, tried devil too though.
Rom has been running for over a week without any issues before...
Anyone experienced anything similair???

If it's not the kernel nor the modem maybe you have a faulty Phone.apk.
Did you flash any system app recently?
Anyway, I suggest a clean re-flash of the entire ROM. Or at least of a new Phone apk.
Hi I'm running the PA modded rom from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2463059
Problem is Bankdroid isn't saving my password for my bank on this ROM, I asked the developer and he said he had heard similar issues with people that were running CM and it got fixed for them when they updated their ROM
Any idea why this could be bugging or if there is a manual way to fix it?

Just been using this rom for the past 1 week...... really loving the rom so stable and fast and such a depart from the stock rom:good:
But i have some issues regarding the following issues i know its not a big deal but still it kind of bugs me
the notification glitch and other regular stuff... i read the thread and all said to just flash the stock kernal in it after installing filemount ...which i did..applied the patch and flashed the kernel and brings me always in a bootloop ...
i heard the stock kernal has no issues is it just my phone or is others also there?.... well ri8 now im on omega kernel but really wish to go to stock kernal and remove that glitch kind of irritates me a lot..even the widget flashlight is also missing i know its not a big deal and all .. plz can you include in the next update
please give me a solution of kernal flash ..i did after applying the patch still got stuck in bootloop always tried 4-7 times already:crying:
Hello guys, I have a rooted D802 device with the November '14 Snapshot CM11 ROM. I'm totally satisfied with it, since I don't encounter random reboots and every app works flawlessy. But recently a problem has surfaced which I think is due to the ROM being outdate by this mane months. My apps don't get the latest updates, for example Messenger won't get the new "Seen" bubbles at the conversations, Sims Free Play is now crashing because it's not getting the newest patch and so on. These all aren't that important compared to my satisfaction with this ROM but they do are nuisances which annoy me.
So after a little digging, I noticed that the CM11 thread here in xda for G2, is flooded with comments about CM12 and when I checked the original site, all CM11 versions were replaced by the new CM12. Basically, what I'm asking since I'm a newb to all this, is what would be a stable nightly of CM12 for me to upgrade to? Are there still bugs(certainly, I guess) and if yes what are they? I will probably be fine with certain insignificant ones, but not big ones like the SMS App crashing or video playback not working etc.. The CM12 thread was last updated on December so this is why I am making my own thread, as I don't want to do anything wrong. Also, is a wipe necessary? Should I re-install gapps? If someone could guide me through the process I would be grateful.

I have international S4 (i9505) and I have tried various roms and every time I end up with some kind of problem, I used one on 4.4.2 and it had connectivity issues, then I tried 1 on 5.0.1 and it started rebooting every few hours, then installed one named optimized cyanogen 12.1 and it says bluetooth crashed over and over.
So the question is can anyone recommend a rome without any of those problems? and dont do anything special on my phone, mostly whatsapp, some online games and music nothing more, but want bluetooth and everything to work.

If you don't want to deal with problems, go back to stock and root that.
Even stock has problems.
You should understand that each phone is different, even if it's the same model. Meaning that even if somebody suggest a rom that works perfectly for that person, it might not work for you.
With this in mind I can suggest to you the rom I've been running for a few months and works great for me: Resurrection Remix with alucard kernel.
And if you don't want whatsapp audio issues, go into developer options and enable AwesomePlayer.
one question, what does the kernel affect in the ROMs stability?
right now I´m on Cianogen and it hasnt shown problem, for now at least

Hi @totopesce,
I'm currently using the latest version of a ROM called Dirty Unicorns. I've had little to no issues with it. It's AOSP based, it's nice and light and very customizable.
It's trail and error with custom ROMS really. I was hoping from ROM to ROM for a long time before I eventually settled on Dirty Unicorns. It's your own taste at the end of the day.
