Hello, I am new to flashing and rooting and so, small question please, is there any custom ROM that supports Arabic language??
I mean to read Arabic characters and write with Arabic keyboard, not arabic interface.
If you know any Arabic supported ROM please tell me about it..

Hi all,
i bought a Tattoo here in Ireland for my nephew that lives in italy. he wants to have italian as a primary language on the phone.
I read that I can download the official WWE rom and simply flash that to get the missing languages.
Has anyone tried by any chance? Risk of bricking the phone? Problems with SPL or radio versions?
Just want to make sure im not sending him a dud for xmas

I'd say flash the WWE rom from the android development site. It comes with a big list of languages (Including Italian ).
I have updated the rom now i can use greek language but in sms composing the T9 isn't availble for greek.
Could anyone help please?
The strange part is that it is availble when i write text in the internet browser
guys can you please explain..
- where did you get the rom? i found a version but is in zip format and you need to cid unlock the phone first with the goldcard. im not too keen on that.
i dont understand how could I install the zip other than renaming to update.zip and reboot to recovery?? could someone please enlighten me?

Hello I would like to know how I can add other langugaes support to the roms I install on my device and in my case I would like to add Arabic support to my phone currently I can write Arabic using Arabic keyboards but I can't read Arabic in SMS or Webpages, if someone have a way to do it plz share it

you need to find a ROM that supports arabic language, for this device I havent seen a ROM with arabic support but InDroid V6 has an OTA app that you can download some arabic fonts from and they work pretty nicely, they dont show connetcted words but the font is WAY better than that AWFUL stock font... hope this helps... oh yea, for sms you can download mirsal app from market, that fixes that, and for browser... dolphin browser for persian should do the trick i think

Actually, Right now CM7 alpha6 supports the arabic scripts and so does kyrillos' rom. dont forget to thank them for their hard work

i have question, why my mini can't read other font eg.arabic,chines if have thats fonts at display just square look.
eg. my friend mentions me at twitter with arabic or symbol. its can't read.just square look

you must change your rom to support arabic lang...!
Or you can use arabizer to read arabic
if u need it let me know to upload it for u
