I have made a backup of my HTC ONE M7 using TWRP 2.7.0.0. It is from a TMOUS M7 with latest firmware 5.14.531.1, Radio 4T.27.3218.14 and HBOOT 1.57.0000. I'm not sure if anyone has this firmware up but I'm willing to help if anyone needs it for development purposes. Not sure what I would need to do to extract or decrypt the backup for the firmware files but am willing to learn if anyone needs it or can use it.
The T-Mobile version? Yes, please upload all of these. I'm mainly looking for the Radio
I searched, and searched! I can't find the t-mobile US version. Can lead me in the right direction?
how do I upload it here or share it? I also have OTA_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_TMOUS_4.19.531.10-3.24.531.3_release_351678n41r1lfticqo8m4c. This is the one right before the newest one.

There should be some upload sites, then you post the link, that you uploaded.
Could I use dropbox or does it have to be an upload site? What is a reputable/good upload site?
I will put a link to my dropbox public folder in a while. It is a complete stock OTA_M7_UL_K44_SENSE60_MR_TMOUS_5.14.531.1_R-4.19.531.10_release_373019xng22l97gj5szmwv.zip.

i can just restore from recovery with this? I know this is stock, but have you had any problems rooting it?
Thanks!!
I had to install stock recovery first. Then apply update. My phone was already unlocked with s-off so I had no problems once I updated it to stock. Then I had to reinstall custom recovery and root again is all. I used the windroid utility found in the tool and utilities section just to try and all went fine.

Hi there.
I recently had to unroot my phone as I lost all my apps and no other method I could find will let me have the latest Market and other apps. (Did look in Slideme but it didn't have ANY of the apps I use).
Anyway, I read that I need to downgrade to cupcake to root it, hence by doing that I will also be forced to downgrade market etc.
Anyway I get to keep these apps?
Cheers (BTW I'm from UK)

I'm thinking someone forgot to flash the htc recovery image.
Anyways, root, flash htc recovery image, flash cyanogen, post in the right section, bingo.
gonna get flamed cause you posted in the wrong section. but I'm assuming you didnt follow directions and didn't flash the defranged zip file before flashing tcyanogen or duper D rom's... http://dx.infernix.net/DRC83_base_defanged.zip
You will have the latest market after rooting...if that is your question.

when you root your phone, you can then flash a 'modified rom' this keeps root and also enables more features/speed improvements. If your looking for a stock rom but with root download Enom's TheOfficials T-mobile UK. Its basically the latest t-mobile G1 Rom but with root and with working market and all apps. If your more adventurous try SuperCDSIv4 from HTCClays, its extremely fast. Using right now with T-mobile UK and i get all apps. I did have to download MarketEnabler 3.0.8 and change my sim operator number to 23430 (t-mobile uk) as i couldnt see beebplayer, but after changing i can see that now. All apps working.

Thank you! And firstly thank you for not moaning at wrong section (I was confused between this and the other one)
Anyway I have rooted the G1 (gone back to old version, done the telenet lot and installed the recovery image (armons one), I also installed HardSPL. But I cannot find the Enoms images, could you please point me in the right direction so I can get to the latest Dounut and get the market, as If I was to update straight to Cyanogen now I would get the market

Yes you would man....You flash a rom that just has the google apps first and then without rebooting flash the rom of choice on top of it...Super D and Cyanogen both are like this....Most others are not.
For real....Flash the defanged base... LINK RIGHT HERE http://dx.infernix.net/DRC83_base_defanged.zip
and then flash this http://www.benbuchacher.com/superD/2010/03/24/superd-1-10-2
Lol that will get you Super D Black with nexus themed launcher and THE LATEST MARKET.
I also recommend Amon Ra's Recovery image 1.6.2 prior to flashing a new rom.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566669&highlight=Sense
Also might wanna flash the Danger SPL. Or use fire rats script. Either way, you have a lot of catching up with the current times....read the cyanogen wiki....lots of info there.
I might sound stupid but what is the difference between Amon_Ra's recovery and Cyanogen's recovery image?

Cyanogen -- Oldie but a goodie.
Amon_Ra -- New with more functionality.
You could also just search and read up on them.
I'm currently running Epic Experience latest version with Mixup kernel latest version but my baseband is still S700.0.5S.DG27 and I've read around to see how I can upgrade the baseband without hurting my current rom/kernel installation (minus the upgrade install some various apps).
I've found this post:

That link describes upgrading to DI18 from DI07, but as previously stated I'm on DG27 so what I want to know is if I use the files from that above link will that work or do I need to apply the updates in the specific order?
If I have to follow the specific order, could someone provide me a link like the one I've pasted above but for DG27 to DI07?
Thanks!

Make a nandroid backup through Clockwork Mod, then the easiest way is to use odin to flash DI18, reflash your rom and let it boot. go into clockwork recovery, backup and restore, advanced restore, choose the correct date, then restore only the data. should get you fixed up.

Yup, since your kernel is based off the DI18 source you can jsut apply this zip to update your modem/radio (baseband) to DI18 as well. this will mostly give you better upload speeds
EDIT: no offense newkidd but thats WAY more work than he needs to do. he's already running a custom ROM and has a DI18 based kernel. the link in my post is for people with non stock files, so he doesnt need to go back to stock to use it.
i do second making a backup in clockworkmod before applying any zip, but then flash away and you'll see baseband go to DI18
Awesome thanks a ton... ill try the custom non-stock zip after a quick nandroid and if that doesn't work ill do the newkidd method . Ill mark thread resolved once I try this after I'm off of work.

So that link is broken... anyway I could get a hand on finding the proper link?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
i had downloaded it so i'll post it here, flash this in recovery and it will ONLY update your modem/baseband to Di18, wont touch kernel or ROM or root. good luck
So I tried this update and it totally f'd my phone lol
For some reason my nandroid doesn't fix it either so here I go down the rabbit hole with odin
Just going to flash back to stock, update and then re-root and flash EE back again, wonderful way to spend my saturday.

Flash a 1.32 RUU, then root and do s-off. Simple as that.
As Hawk said. You won't be able to actually preserve it, but have to root it again, as you will lose root by flashing stock.

what do you mean by "back to stock", if you wanna preserve "everything" it's not really stock!
but, i guess you could restore your nandroid backup... or do what guys above said so!
I assume he wants stock RUU ROM, no custom ROM or kernel, .... but with root intact.
He will lose the root by flashing stock RUU.
So just root again and not flash any custom kernels or custom ROM.
I don't know why, up to him, but he just asked the question, and we provided the answer.

EDIT: so i dont need to worry about upgrading the radio? or downgrading?
Follow part of this downgrade thread. You need to DL the PD98IMG.zip file.
As you already have root, skip the adb temp root part, and follow this copied directly from the above guide;
•Put PD98IMG.zip to your SD card. Do not put the file into a folder...... Do not extract
•Reboot while holding volume down, it will go to the bootloader
•Follow the instructions (start the update)
•Done. You can now proceed with old S-OFF methods, and remove the PD98IMG.zip from your SD. I recommend Radio S-OFF for new users.
Then,
Follow this guide for temp/permroot with visionary and S-off using
Easy Radio Tool DL Link at end of 2nd post
Then,
Follow this guide for ENG S-off using the
Easy S-off tool DL link at bottom of page
Hope this helps, just make sure you read every in full at least twice.

umm not sure if you understand where i am, im on a custom rom already mate, im going back to stock, i dont need to downgrade
Well when you follow Upintheair's instructions, you get a stock ROM, and it is not really a downgrade because you do not have to use the command line commands. You do not have to run the radio s-off tool, though. Just run ENG S-OFF tool.
The other way is to flash Raidroid Stockify series ROM, it is a rooted stock ROM that you can flash in clockworkmod.
So I don't remember what build I originally had, didn't backup my ROM bcus im a nub, made a mistake editing a file in system/lib which caused my tablet not to boot past the android screen. Came to this forum for some help, kjy2010 came to my rescue. provided me with a full build of 4.010.40 GEN1, placed update.zip in external SD, booted into recovery mode & let it do its thing. worked like a charm & fixed my issue, but then someone said I should have a US build, can anyone tell me why? if so.. anyone have a copy of 4.010.11 they can provide me with & how I would go about to install it. Is it the same concept as done before? Really the main thing is, will I have issues downloading new updates? if I don't switch to 4.010.11.. or will I have an issue regardless bcus I don't have the original ROM.. & if so.. how am I going to be able to work around it in the future.

Market....get Acery Recovery Installer. After you install it, go into the app and have it install Clockwork recovery mod, miking sure you click yes when it asks you to backup your recover image.
Here is the thread on CWM, although you no longer need to push to install thanks to Acer recovery installer:

Mainly the differences are in the software you get with the tablet and certain underlying factors in the settings, like what channels are allowed in wifi....especially wifi n which allows a greater variety of channels, bands, etc. The world around uses different channels based on government regulations/standards.
I suspect this is why a number of people have issues with connecting to Wifi. They get ROMS from XDA, update their U.S tablets with foreign ROMS and vice versa and then have wifi issues.
You technically don't HAVE to be on a U.S version if you're in the U.S, but for the reasons above, I wouldn't ever recommend using a foreign ROM.

Which images do you need? I posted a link for the system.img and boot.img. That's your stock OS. Those should get you back up and running on stock. When installing Lineage, generally the only partitions being flashed are system and boot. Your other partitions such as /modem, /fsg, /rct, /laf, etc should be intact, unless you altered or wiped them. However, I can give you links to other partition images, but I need to know which ones you need. Mine are not all archived together.

So I tried the aicp and resurrection remix ROM and they don't support all the good stuff I need I was wondering if anyone has the LG K20 Plus T-Mobile Tp260 Stock ROM Backup because I don't have a PC anymore so I can't manually do it
I see no one eve replied with the stock rom (KDZ). I am FRP locked. I need the original (old) ROM, to flash, and then from there I can do stuff....
