It's eligible?

Good, it makes difference,the first impression is very good.

Does it really help phone get faster? I mean windows os has the same function that allow HDD to be a part of ram, but it isn't fast.

Internal storage on Pro (+) !?

hello,
can anybody pls tell me how much is YOUR internal storage on the
U8800pro?
for the normal X5 (U8800) wiki says 600MB and 2GB flash
8800+/pro is claimed to have 4GB flash and more internal, too.
At least my Pro says 0,9GB internal free
but only 1,55GB internal SD/flash available
so my pro obviously has only about 2GB internal - not 4
(I just updated to the last official 2.3.5 (B57) (3/2012) and left the phone untouched so far)
any other experiences with this rom ... hints?
thx

21 hits and no one with a pro?
I just went back to B540 - but still 1,5GB internal
(...switch back to B572 again now)

My 8800 Pro (Titan?) has 1,56 GB on internal SD-card, and 544 MB on internal storage.
I found it under Settings > Storage space ("Lagerplads" in Danish, I don't know what it's exactly called in the English version). Maybe that is why it isn't the same as yours
Thanks Oliver,
that is the same, maybe your internal is only 544 because of installed apps?
mine is clean so far (0,9GB)
But my point is the small internal SD (1,5 vs 4GB claimed)
never mentioned that before....
Edit:
meanwhile I found another pro-user,
also 1,56GB
well, if we were nasty, we could call it scam

App Back Up without rooting phone (using Carbon AKA Helium)

I would like to move my subway surfers progression from my S4 to my new Note 4. Another forum advised using Carbon (now changed their name to Helium) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en_GB which I have used but now it says to restore data I must pay the premium (wish that was obvious before I wasted my time) but hey ho, I was going to buy the licence key but there were bad reviews saying it didn't work or messed up the users phone. My question is has anyone used it before or could recommend another app I can use to back up my app data without rooting my phone. £3 is a lot to waste on an app that doesn't work or can cause problems to my phone
You have a 15 minute refund period for all applications you bought on Google Play.
Try it and get a refund if it doesn't work.
I didn't have to pay anything to restore my apps using Helium. Just make sure the data is on the internal storage of the phone.
I used the free Helium to save my Apps and Data from Note 3 and restored successfully on Note 4

Could you explain this in more detail? I tried to restore from my old RAZR to my Note 4, but I couldn't figure it out. I saved to the internal storage, but I couldn't find the files.

Hello Crank.head,
Let's try and get this solved through Root Essentials. I want you to contact me through Root Essentials and send me:
1. All details on your phone type, firmware, security version (this way we can purchase the exact situation and get it duplicated over here);
2. All details on your SD cards (try more than one card) regarding specs (size, speed, class, brand);
3. All SuperSU output on Root Essentials;
4. All Screenshots on progress of Adoptable. Before you reboot take a screenshot of Settings>Storage. Reboot phone. After reboot again a screenshot of storage.
Prior to the steps (2, 3, 4) above, I want you to configure SuperSU for Root Essentials as follows:
1. Access: Grant;
2. Notifications: Global default;
3. Logging: Full content;
4. Force user: ( None );
5. Tap on V to save.
You are free to post all results on XDA in the mean time, then everyone can have a laugh if we cannot solve it. Still, the least we can do together is get this fixed once and for all, and improve Root Essentials to free all slaves.
Any contribution (through discussion, testing Root Essentials with feedback through app on specs) that leads to solving this is most appreciated.

Lost Storage Space

So I have the 128gb version. My storage was fine until after I installed Lineage 15.0. It says I only have 111gb of storage left, yet nothing was downloaded. I even used the unbrick tool and put my phone completely back to factory with it, and it still says 111gb remaining. I know OOS doesn't use that much space. I also downloaded an app called Disk Space, and it shows my storage as 111gb. I don't know how that other bit of storage is just completely gone. Is there any way to get it back?
Isn't that normal? Here's what I see on my 64GB unit.

Yea kinda strange that the 64gb unit only has 52gb of space on it. I was hoping wed have more around 58-59. Android isnt that big and cmon, its 2017 we can start getting near maximum storage on storage devices.

The rom is not the issue, I am on stock rom and it also shows 111gb. I think it is because of the space allocated to user data in the partition.

I didn't think it was. Pretty sure it said more than that when I first got it, but I could be wrong.
