Developers always need access to reliable testers to make sure the quality of their work is fantastic. However finding decent testers can often take too much time, as unfortunately not everyone knows how to be a reliable tester.
This is why I have started this thread. It will not teach you how to be a tester, however it will say what you need to be able to do to be a tester.
It will also allow other developers to find willing and reliable testers who post in this thread.
So.. What is expected of a tester.
Patience:
Obviously everyone wants to get things fast, and testers are normally first in line for the latest and greatest. However we can't just hit a button and it's magically done the next second.
Knowledge in how to do stuff
Stuff is such a vague word.
You need to know how to take decent logs (logcats, kmsg's, etc).
You need to know how to use adb and fastboot reliably.
You need to know how to flash a rom, (a bonus if you know how to fix a zip if it's not built properly).
Speak the native language of your developer fluently.
This isn't required, but it will speed up the testing process a lot.
How to change individual system files quickly.
This would be for hot patches. So if gps is spamming massively, the developer will send a file that will stop gps logging as much
If you can manage everything in the above list, the great! post on this list with the words "Hey Ho, I can test!". It will enable developers to search those words and find all willing testers.

I need someone to test a Xposed Module.
It is a theme in best description and works like T-Mobile themes for CM and other such roms.
Simple Install, activate in Xposed, Choose what you want to theme and what not and reboot.
Theme Name : Samsung TW Theme[S 5 Style]
Its still a WIP and many things remain stock.
Its stable though.

i think it's only base on basic features just add some customization and improve UI, so 1 day through, only sync account is big problem for me, now everything ok :laugh:
Did you get permission from OPPO to post this publicly? This is a private beta and my guess is if OPPO wanted it posted publicly they would have done so on their own forums.

Despite English is not my native language I usually spell and construct grammatically as best I can to avoid misunderstanding. Sorry if that single word offended you.

yes , i will , but i dont see slim adding much features in daily so weeklies will do it until slim adds all their features

Thanks for this ROM. It works like a charm for an early build and I'm expecting the next updates will be better. Good job to OP and everyone that worked together. Just to report that NFC isn't working but I hardly see it as a problem since I never use it anyway.

I never used nfc personally too , but I will work on it the next build , if you want SuperSu from chainfire simply the supersu zip from recovery(make sure you have enable root from developer options)
Tested first alpha version.

@ mauk - I've had a run in with @O-T before - It seems to be a serial offender when it comes to flaming people - There are only so many times that you can use the excuse of something not being your native language. @ O-T The sensible way would be to ask someone who has english as a first language to read you posts first.... that way any unpleasantness can be avoided - If you want to PM me your posts I'll check them over. As for being called dude - as far as I'm aware it can be non gender specific term - so no offence caused there!

you're right but of course, with root and xposed, one can modify the rom as he/she wishes. if yours is rooted, can you check if viper4android works on it?

This is a GUI based program, which I have started programming in python.
Unlike other tools, this one is specifically made for the Motorola G3.
This entire tool is foolproof, so if you think you may brick your device when flashing TWRP, or stock rom by typing the wrong command, this is the place to be!
All of the tools are included in the program, including the TWRP.img file, and ADB and Fastboot tools. The Motorola drivers are inside the zip, so you don't have to go searching for them !

I understand where you are coming from completely about lazy tech people , but this tool is intended for people who don't really know what they are doing , or don't want to risk bricking their phone in the flash progress.

I mostly agree, I appreciate that someone makes a tool like this, especially a 15 year old, but a certain niche of people are going to require being spoon fed even if the answer is in front of their face. I've said all along that a large majority of the people that have to get the latest Android and root it are doing it because everyone else is.

Good idea! That would help some noobs not to brick their phone.
By the way , you might want to put the adb and fastboot tools from version 1 of my program into version 2 , if version 2 is what you want to use . sorry about the problem , I just forgot to adb and fastboot in the zip

3. Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik x3
4. Install TWIZtd Rom from ExtSDCard
6. Reboot and fully set up TWIZtd ROM
7. When done reboot recovery again
8. Flash TWIZtd Settings update
9. Reboot and enjoy!!!!!
11. Initial Boot Time is Approximately 10-15 Minutes so be patient. Hopefully you will enjoy my work!
Note! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While setting up the ROM this way solves many issues that the modded SecSettings app has, it will not solve all. The modded settings app is still buggy and can have errors on some things. More importantly, lock screen security does not work. Remember that please! The stock app also has no lockscreen security. The stock app is there so databases are generated for the modded app to use. Remember LOCKSCREEN SECURITY DOES NOT WORK!!!!!I am still working on this issue to try and get lockscreen security working. I have tried many ways and forms, but to no avail. I will keep trying and post the new app once this has been fixed.

The colors on my text in settings is white, what do I do?
If it is white it means you set up rom, installed the modded settings and have not opened TWIZtd Control. Open it and change colors of the text.
Does xposed work on this rom?
Yes, I use Wanams build 86.1. This has the regular and alt all in one.
Does this offer wi-fi calling?
NO, this is an international rom.

@JavixKGD Forgive me but lately very busy with updating of my rom for S5 and themes, and recently I Not read the PM.
Certainly you can use them always important credit. Then since you're one of the few that "" "He asks with education and respect", if you want a particular theme for your rom, tell me how you want it and you do it immediately.

Wow many thanks @Ufo71. Well I have always been very fond of the joker and his battle with batman. I remade the joker theme from the great pas, however if u make something like a dark twisted joker theme, boy would that make my day! Again many thanks friend for the permission and of course credit is going to be given, if u have time for the theme that is even better, but I know we are all busy here and this is our side project to be on XDA and we have a life after this, so if time cannot come up for that wont hold it against u. Many thanks friend!

Ok, got it my friend, I misunderstood the first time but got it now. Ill be making one soon enough, but for now the ROM is very time consuming. Checking for bugs continuously and flashing a few times a day to test new things and methods is exhausting, but here we are pushing forward in the dev world. Many thanks for everything friend, keep up the good work in those custom themes that make me very very happy.

Any idea if this would work on the W8 Canadian Note 4? My sisters Note 4 is running a bit slow right now (or at least she keeps on complaining to me that it is lol). So I'm looking to install a fresh ROM on it. Thanks

Well give it a try friend, ive seen that OvrDriVEs roms always work on canadia versions so this one might too, I know tmobile N910T3 and W8 are like twins so maybe it will work as is. Also keep following my other thread here for more updated info on the rom.
