Not sure about your issue but you might want to edit your post title if you want more help. That one is not very descriptive of your problem.
Hey Gang,
Seriously considering a G2, specifically the Korean version with the Micro Sim and removal battery. Anyone with a Korean G2 in North America? Any hiccups to report?

I don't but I came over from Germany with an European phone. Actually no limitations besides only working on Att frequencies and only up to 4G but no LTE. For you is important to check on the Korean versions basebands and if it uses American bands and importantly if you they are for T Mobile or ATT.

Well I don't know about the G2 and boot loader. I ment that I came over from Germany with a international device. Not a G2 a Sony xperia z and it works but like I said if u get an non USA phone u need to check on the basebands so u know with what carrier it will work. Lte most likely won't work in the USA.

LTE bands probably won't work. Nor the tv antenna. Wondering if i made the right move here, just to get a micro sd and removable battery. Time will tell.

Well I am from Singapore, SEA region and my teleco is Starhub which uses the frequence 1800 for both LTE and 3G, thus it works perfectly.

Well I am using the F320S, no boot loader and for hard reset I normally just push and hold the power button till it resets or just remove the battery.

I searched around but couldn't find anything to solve my problem.
I just bought a LG G2 D800 from Ebay, clean ESN and I double checked it and it was clean.
I unlocked it in CyanogenMod which only required 1 unlock code, but then reverted to stock 4.2.2 restore where there's 5 different locks? When I try to tap each it displays, "Your phone is not personalized".
I slotted my MetroPCS SIM in and the phone displays "Phone not allowed MM #6" on reboot.
Those are all the steps I have done so far to try and use my MetroPCS SIM. This is my first time ever using a GSM Phone, I have no idea what to do now. I've tried to look around Google and XDA and can't find my problem. There was no errors on the AT&T SIM.

Factory reset has done nothing.
Basically, I unlocked the phone, but it isn't unlocked.
Is there any way to reset the lock? Or something of that nature.

That's misleading, it's the same SIM, designed differently. I had self-cut SIM for a long time - it's not a problem. Your phone must have some hardware failure, like with PCs. It might be the CPU or the memory. I'd take it to customer service to try get it repaired / get a replacement.

This is not a good advice. Before anything he have to replace the Sim to the real MicroSIM. If you did that and is working do not matter at all. Is not the right thing to do just to avoid 5 bucks. If the problem will persist with the new microSIM then yes, it will be a problem, but first have to be replaced the Sim.

Get a new Micro SIM.
Does your phone get hot? Sometimes a rogue app can keep your CPU at max speed and it will make your device hot, thus phone will reboot by itself.
Just my 2 cents
it could be some app tat causes all the memory(RAM) to be used up.
anyway i also do cut the SIM card to microSIM myself. but of cos if u cut it rite, shouldnt hav any problem.
The problem is not the sim that I've cutted, tonight I've taked off my sim, and the phone hai restarted... The problem, i think is th battery or the motherboard....

After the Update to .136, reboot your phone once and then make a factory reset to clean up the installation then all should be fine.

I live in Australia and there is a couple of different models being sold by different retailers here namely SM-G900X and SM-G900I. With all my previous Galaxy phones I used to flash them to Polish ROMs as they got firmware updates well in advance of Australia but the Polish ROM is SM-G900F. Is there any issue still doing this does anyone know? I cant even find a 900I ROM to reflash with if something goes wrong and I don't want to brick my phone the second day I have it.
Anyone have any idea? Also the Australian 900I version has its dock icons locked which is annoying.

There must be someone game enough to try this out. There all isn't a 900I ROM available anywhere.

Ok I gave up waiting for an answer and went and saw a friend in retail with stock and we tried it on his demo unit. You CAN NOT flash a 900F from onto a 900I it errors out before it begins saying the model is different.
Seems like we are stuck with the handicaps imposed on our model as Samsung has chosen to make regional models.

Same thing with the Aus S4. You can unlock the dock but you'd have to root the phone first.
