This applied to samsung stock lockscreen. I dint know what custom rom you are using.

That gives me the ability to remove the camera from sliding the page to the right but not not the option to remove the camera icon from the unlock page
I'm running x note v15

Lock screen sound

How do i change the lock screen sounds for ny i9000...its not rooted or anything...
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Without rooting it is impossible because you need to change a system file.
On a rooted phone you can replace the following files to achieve this:
system/media/audio/ui/Unlock.ogg
system/media/audio/ui/Lock.ogg
The only way I know.
Thanks ...........
maybe you can download screen off and lock
this app allows you to customise the lockscreen animation and lockscreen sound without root
you can put it in the dock but i always create a gesture to launch this app in launcher pro. it is very convenient
I would rather prefer to root my phone then to do it with the app.
Wich is what i'm working on right now lets see if it works.

let me try. whenever i use Launcher set wallpapers (Nova in my case), the ink effect does not work. For me to use it, i go to display and set home screen and lockscreen to wallpaper. I get the stock ones, and PLAY's wallpapers (4.1.2 not yet available here in my country/carrier). select anything but the Live Wallpapers; then go back to the lock screen settings, and ripple effect should not be greyed out.
Get your S-pen out and give it a whirl, erm, splatter. HTH

Lockscreen widgets ?

I believe that 4.2.2 had lock screen widgets ... How on earth do I get them to work
I believe bbc news is one of the widgets bit I've tried every which way I can to get out to work
Please help
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda premium
You can't use some lock screen widgets if you have a security lock screen thanks to Samsung being weird and annoying. Plus they removed the quick launch camera lock screen with their silly app matrix.
If you just use the slide to unlock feature then slide your finger from the top down and then left or right and you'll have the option of adding more.
You first have to enable them in the settings. Also you can enable quick camera instead of using the app matrix, you'll find that in the same place.... Main settings---> lockscreen ---> check the multiple widgets box. Tap the next box down to configure the quick launch camera as default instead of the app matrix should you choose.

Customizing?

Hey all, I unlocked/rooted my phone and I'm wondering if there's anyway to customize which settings are in the notification bar? I'm hesitant to install a new rom because the stock rom has been solid, and I had less than stellar results on past android devices when using custom roms (random fc's, slowdowns, etc, even with CM).
Anyway, I basically want a quick flashlight toggle, and maybe put a few more quick settings options in there. Would it require a new rom?

Thanks, another question... what about customizing the unlock screen? Like dragging the slider up opens voice search and left opens camera?:good:
Install battery widget reborn, it has nice notification area, with flashlight, wifi settings, bluetooth, data sync, pretty much everything you have in quick settings

I'm pretty sure that it would require a ROM to put it on the lock ring but there's a camera lockscreen widget and you can touch and hold the nav bar on the lock screen to get search

OP, this is a Nexus. You won't find more functional ROMs. Just pick one and flash it.

Stock Lollipop Lockscreen on Zenfone 2

Hi guys,
I had been scouring the internet looking for how to setup the stock lock screen on the ZF2 because I hated those 3 bubbles for camera, phone and messaging on the front screen and had no success.
Turns out there is a simple box you have to uncheck to get the stock lock screen working
Go to Settings>Lock screen> and uncheck "Quick access"
I feel really dumb because its been bothering me for more than a month now but I hope this helps anyone else who has this issue!
You can also change the apps that get accessed by clicking on "Quick access" instead of clicking the "on/off" switch.
so is it necessary to make a thread about this easy setting?
you can easily find all tips and tricks about zenfone 2 on YouTube, you can find many videos named "things you need to know after buying asus zenfone 2"., you can find many useful tips and tricks in this forum as well...
Freezing the ASUS weather app makes it even more like stock too. Shame you can't center the clock on the slide lockscreen.
With weather app frozen:
Edit: Actually, after rebooting this removes the clock from the lockscreen completely.
you can also delete "lockscreen" from /system/app. This will give you the real aosp lock screen

I tried to delete it but get "permission denied". If I freeze the ASUS lockscreen system app, I still get the same lockscreen anyway.

Fitst of all you need to be rooted, secondly you need to use a file manager like root explorer or root browser to mount rw, but freezing will result in the same thing anyway

I'm trying to freeze it, but I can't find it in Titanium Backup. Is there another app I can use to freeze it, or is it called something weird?

com.asus.lockscreen 1.0.1
How does the AOSP lockscreen look? I did this on my old phone once, the lockscreen ended up not being worth it. (Buggy/frequent crashes when inputting PIN)

So I froze that, but my lockscreen didn't change, even after a reboot. I was hoping the lockscreen would be AOSP so that I can set 5 or 6 app shortcuts in there (via GravityBox). What am I doing wrong? Do I need to go into the file system and delete stuff?
With the ASUS lockscreen app frozen I get no change whatsoever in the appearance of the lockscreen (still has the off-centre ASUS Clock/Weather widget and swipe to unlock). With the weather app frozen I get a blank lockscreen with swipe to unlock.
i tried different lockscreens from playstore.for me hi locker is the best
Use hi locker its far better lockscreen than native lollipop or zen ui 's

How do you remove default lock screen? There's no none option only swipe.
EDIT: Never mind, just had to remove guest user.
