i flashed the laf.img when i flashed the others
would flashing them over and over again hurt my phone? and could my phone be "dead" even though it still comes on and tries to enter recovery and then goes to the dark screen? You mentioned that I may have zeroed my phone?...

you could try again, yes. But check with gdisk.
For example, if it throws errors that sdc1,2,3,4,5,6,7---36 couldn't be mounted, then you know it's sdc.
So you can simply type gdisk -l /dev/sdc (it might show that it's unavailable, hit arrow up and press enter again), you'll see the partitions(eventually..if it's recognized by the pc.)

Okay So I unlocked bootloader via NRT..
So after unlocking I got into recovery and earsed the data(as mentioned in the instructions)..
Now basically the tablet doesn't boot up to home.
First. Dont use toolkits. No disrespect to the dev but it is way better to do it manually.
Second which recovery did you use?
Third what exactly did you wipe?

You can re install the rom by going to https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#mantaraykot49h and picking the image you need.
Just hold the power button and the both volume buttons down at the same time to get into the fastboot mode before you run the image restore
program. I hope this helps. Good Luck
Make sure you go down to the Factory Images "mantaray" for Nexus 10.

Good advice but for a noob needs a bit more about being in command line with the adb and fastboot commands in path. I use Linux desktop. I bricked a n7 last week due to a dodgy connector socket/cable during a flash and had to type the flash-all script commands myself a few times til it worked.

Last option,I'll send my nexus 10 with my uncle back to USA.

Hi,
You may want to seek for the guide in the Nexus 10 Q&A regarding flashing stock again.
Can you please go a little further in details about how "bricked" it actually is? What exactly happened? There seem to be missing some important info regarding your issue.
Please be a little more descriptive and maybe I can help you .

Thanks for all the help guys,The tablet booted
i'm ok
the same problem, but perfect, i see the reply, and my device is ok new!:good::good:
I don't know how, but my S4's screen broke internally (Through pressure, according to AT&T saying they are "pressure cracks").
Beyond that
I upgraded to the S5 (Knowing if I get a replacement S4, it's likely to be upgraded which I don't want so might as well get the S5), and I would love to get my pictures and stuff back without having to repair the S4 screen. The only problem is that it has a pattern lock on it. I do not think it had USB debugging on it, but it was rooted with SS. Kies and Windows don't completely recognize the device, only that it's plugged in. Need help on getting the stuff off. Please help!!
If usb debugging is off there's not much you can do. You could try to boot into recovery and the use adb to pull files off. Try "adb devices" and see if it regonizes your device. If it does then use "adb pull/sdcard/ c:\sdcard"

Boot to stock recovery or SS recovery? Also, can you use the volume keys on SS? I haven't tried it, so if you can I could use screenshots so I can guide myself through and mount USB. Or do that through the stock recovery but I don't know if it has that option. Other than that, just booting into either recoveries doesn't detect the device....

Heimdall? Sorry for being a noob, I only had the S4 from September xD
Heimdall is an open source alternative to Odin. The MAC guys are forced to use it since Odin will not run on a MAC.
The part I was curious about is why your device does not mount as a hard drive when you plug it into your PC. Is that because of the lockscreen? I never use once personally.
It sounds like you may just have driver issues. You could even try downloading the Ubuntu LiveCD, booting to that, and then plug in your phone to see if it appears.

Hey guys,
a few hours ago I tried flashing the new Ldroid Rom onto my Nexus 7. After flashing the rom my tablet took ages to boot up and after the bootup it said i had to enter a password to encrypt the data (i never set encryption). after entering a random password android reported that the password was right but the data corrupt and i'd have to do a factory reset. after entering twrp i realized that the device couldn't mount anything except system. i wiped/formated everything except system and tried booting into android. this time i was stuck at the google logo. after entering recovery mode again now twrp couldn't mount system and sdcard. so i formated both and now i'm here with an absolutely empty nexus 7. i tried to use adb sideload to flash a new rom but my pc doesn't recognize the device and neither does fastboot. i tried reinstalling adb and fastboot drivers, i used universal drivers, i used drivers from toolkits, i did many many pc and tablet restarts, i reinstalled android sdk several times, i used different adb/fastboot locations, i even tried using a different pc trying the same steps. no change, only thing i get is that the tablet gets recognized by the device manager as an adb/fastboot device, nothing more.
Does anyone of you know a possible sollution for my issue?
Thanks in advance
P.S.: i've been researching the internet for this issue for the past hours and couldn't find any sollutions, so please don't say stuff like "use search function"
P.P.S.: My other devices get recognized without any issues with the same cable.

Hello my fellow humans of planet earth. So... With this being the first ever thread I open I get to say right from the very start that I am no pro at rooting / installing custom roms and similar stuff. I am more of a DESKTOP guy...
In any case... Yesterday I messed up big time, and don't get me wrong, I did my research... Anyway. What happened was I was updating to the latest version of CM 12.1, and just as I went in TWRP and tryied to start flashing, I got an error and no update. Then, smart me, tryied installing another update, a bit older, but still newer than the one I had running. This one probably was a bad zip and destroyed my installation of CM12... Then, even smarter me, decided it was a good idea to format and try to get CM12 anew. The TL;DR here is... I have no CM, when I connect the phone via usb it recognises it but it says "This folder is empty", so doesn't show anything on the pc side..., and the strangest problem of them all is that TWRP has gone CRAAAYYYYY! Man... Currently, the phone boots only in TWRP, but TWRP is unusable. The touch is not working properly, as I tap "wipe" for example and it opens "settings", for example. Even If I am able to actally click something, I can't do sh*t because I can't use the "slide to do w/e" ....
I am so confused. I tryied using methods like the TOT unbrick and it starts flashing and then it reboots... but into TWRP, I have no controll over anything. I even tryied some ADB stuff I found online but had no luck with that....
ANY kind of help would be worth a lot.
In any case, due to my limited internet access these days, I won't be able to see answers immediately but will probably be able to do so in some hours!
Guys, please.. for the sake of humanity, help.

Are you positive that you have an official d802, because there are a lot of refurbished lg g2's that claim they are d802 but in actuality they have d800/d802 motherboards. The only way to find out is to open your phone and look at the model. Open the phone then remove the power button cover, from there there should be a flex cable running from the top left to a secondary board. Lift that wire up and look at the silver square box and it should have your motherboard model.

I think the fact that I have had a similar experience to what I am facing now in the past, and fixed the phone using the TOT method FOR the actual D802, which worked, is enough. If not.. I might as well check it...

The reason I ask is because the touch is usually jumpy when you install a ROM that is different from your device model. Are you able to get into adb sideload?

No.. TWRP is kinda unusable... I followed a tutorial by HighOnAndroid the other day, and I installed some driver and I am able to interact with the phone using ADB with a fastboot folder I have. I don't know if it is the same thing though.

Try install kouch adb drivers, and download minimal adb and fastboot (Google) and then attempt to start adb sideload. But first can you check your device variant. We don't want to brick your phone.

Ok. So I did that, and now I have a cmd running which reads:
C:\Program Files <x86>\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>
I don't even know if that is what I had to do..

I do have to confess... my TWRP was working great, ...UNTIL me being smarter than usual followed some guide I found online trying to get CM12.1 and used an app called AutoRec or something... which wasn't nessessary since I already had TWRP.. and then this happened. TWRP has gone nuts.

Try figuring out how far off your touches register with your phone. And then try to swipe once you find the pattern

I already have. Here's the funny part though.. I don't have enough screen... hahaha... I registers my touches a bit lower and I cannot go that low... I get that we have a problem here...
The only thing I was able to think of Is trying to emulate the phone through the pc, but I don't know If I can do that without actually having a working Android going...

Are you able to take a video of what happens when you flash a tot file. I have never seen that before and maybe the video will help clear some things up. Right now thinga aren't looking good. But don't lose hope there is a method but it is very very tricky/hard.

Okay, since your in side load. Go to the computer and go to the minimal adb and fastboot folder. Click **** + right click. Select open command line here. Type in "adb devices" and tell me if your device is recognized.
