HTC one M8 gay and lesbian users - One (M8) General

This thread is to dedicated to gay and lesbian users of the greatest phone ever made, the HTC one M8.
This is not a geographically divided thread like the American / Canadian / Indian / Phillipines / Mexican / Mongolian / Vatican City / Antarctican users thread.
This is for the ones who think differently or similarly so as to speak. And how they feel about it.
I like the chamfered edge around the device, it looks sexy especially when looked at an angle. Like the lights at a night club bouncing off of it.
And the smooth sexy back.
As well as two separate trays taking a nano Sim on one side and a micro SD card on the other, how ingenious. Come to think of it, you can probably fit in two nano Sims, going by the modular size of the hole on the left edge and the rather wide tray.

Yes
..finally
I can say
Wtf!!!

We need a thread like this for straight people and perhaps one for people who like marmite, although in some instances I do like that and others not.

While your at it, add seperate ones for white people, black people, asian people and so on!
Where all frickin human OP!! Why is their a need for a thread based on someones sexuality?
Humanity will never get over differences among them if they keep bringing it up and separating themselves.

I think the reason for the other countries is because they have different variants and devices then other countries in some cases...

You do realize having a thread solely for people of a certain sexual orientation is just as bigoted as having one that excludes them...

I think this thread should be closed as this forum is here to discuss technical specs and software mods. We don't need threads like this.

We all know that.
This is just a satire on all those country specific threads (Which I think is meaningless and doesn't offer any value to users of the forums, yet I keep seeing them time and again in every forum!!!! )
Sorry I thought I made the satire obvious when I mentioned Mongolia (least dense country ) , Vatican City(smallest country) and Antarctica( uninhabited)

Yeah I think it's funny actually. They spent years fighting to be accepted as normal people no different from you, me and anyone else and when they get it right they decide to stand out as being different
Oh and I like marmite

I right, you have a sense of humour I didn't understand.
I do agree with the whole country thing, but sometimes it's not a bad idea, where people can share offers, deals and delivery feedback in their country.

I'm bisexual, and I think this thread is unnecessary.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Some countries have slightly different hardware/firmware that is not entirely compatible with USA/Canadian versions so I think some country specific threads are of use.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app

Ok, this thread will be closed. And I will explain why.
Phones and devices, do not have sexual preferences. And because XDA is a development site, it doesn't have these preferences either.
XDA is a multi-cultural non-biased site. To have a thread that is labeled or restricted to "any" specific orientation, goes against what XDA is.
Understand, XDA is about development and helping others. It's not a social network. Plenty of sites across the net for that type of social interaction.
So with that said, according to XDA policy concerning the aforementioned, I will close this thread.
Cheers
MD

Funny enough being from the UK I don't recognise the US government, which means I don't recognise there laws, so therefore if this does get past I would recommend you move to a European host, and tell the US to go swivel. Tim Berners-Lee invented the internet (WWW), the Americans implemented it. however they certainly don't own the internet because of that, I think the US are over stepping there international boundaries with this idea, they have no right to this, hopefully this will stay in the US and everyone will just go international leaving the american internet dead.
the U need to stop protecting companies with outdated business model in the 21st century. Pirating will still happen as SOPA will only offline URLs not IP addresses, oddly enough i think Torrent users are quite aware of IP addresses... anyways...

Hi, I would like to help stop this evil SOPA and PIPA but as a UK resident I cant do anything, this bill would change the internet as we know it, and is yet another restriction of our personal freedom. I hope that it doesn't get passed. Hope Ron Paul is successful too.

[Poll] do you like this new combined gs3 forum

I don't like it
Also guys when you vote please post something
This keeps the thread up high
Far from the second page
Some things are common across the GS3 independent of the carrier but there are some that are dependent on the carrier. General accessories could all be grouped into one but carrier specific ship dates, etc, being jumbled all into one it's hard to find threads you aren't subscribed to. Looks like I need to subscribe to more but somehow mute tapatalk from notifications.

XDA isn't a carrier forum. Go to HowardForums or Sprint.com if you want that.
XDA is about DEVICES. The L710 is the same configuration no matter what carrier you're on. This is how it should be.
Back in my day, under the HTC Vogue, we supported both Verizon and Sprint, and we liked it.
I don't like it. I can understand things where there are overlap like accessories, but having a carrier specific forum for general was nice because we could talk about carrier specific topics.
I get what the admins are trying to do. Save server space from redundant threads....However, AFAIC it still sucks.
I like the way things are, but time will tell how much of an unholy mess it turns out to be...

dont they all have the same hardware? so wont roms made for one, work for all? with separate forums devs will have to make multiple redundant threads?
As long as people aren't ignorant this will be fine.

No, they will not work across each carrier, in theory they can. But I'm gonna guess each carrier has diff apps added. And diff framework icons. So the answer is no, they will not (radios get flashed outside of roms these days, no problem there).
Anyways this is related to the general section, development is still split, which is great.

And I guess you know what it means to have diff related things that arnt common between carries also right, that's why they split up development. And should have also made diff general sections.

no good especially since the forum names are the same as the internatrional sgs iii.
so in apps like tapatalk and xda in favorites you now have to forums where the names are exactly the same.
I think it would be better. Better development, better collaboration, pooling of dev resources.
Now it won't be noob friendly because I can see noobs already flashing AT&T Radios for a Sprint phone and bricking their devices.
I like and hate it. I think it was too soon to combine the General forum. These devices are still in a very volatile shipping status and until that clears people will be using the general threads to see if anyone has any updates. Clutters the whole process.
Yes Themes should be split. Were not talking Metamorph here. We are talking actual apk's and framework files. Xml diffs etc...

XDA giffgaff thread.

So, I decided to make this thread for anyone here at XDA with questions concerning giffgaff, who don't want to go to the giffgaff community.
You could live abroad and have questions on giffgaff, or you may just have a question.
I am an avid community member, and I am often updated with information.

Maybe get it stickied?

Thought I'd follow the trend and make one of these. As always, please follow the forum rules which are really just common sense.
The reason it's Ireland and UK rather than just Ireland is because I barely ever see Irish users on here, and many Irish networks are also in the UK too.
