Sorry for the noob question, but is there a setting for making the wallpaper stay in place instead of moving along when you flick the screen on either side of the homescreen?
Thanks

Wallpaper scrolling i guess. Try wanam
Good question
Actually I would like to know where this setting is hidden too. I remember having the option to flip the background on the note 2(even stock).

There is no setting anywhere for it on TW, wanam did it though. Thanks.

I'm trying to use wanam: check the home page scroll setting, reboot and it still scrolls like b 4. Any idea if there could be any other app mod be messing with wanam?
You can disable it in Apex and Nova... Apex gives you the option to choose between single screen (no scroll) (Multiple screen (no scroll) and multiple screen (scroll).
No root required...

this is probably a dumb and annoying question, but i want the clock to be in the center is there anyway the enable this option or to flash a zip that would makes the status bar clock centered.

i'm using Apex i dont think it has that option. might have to switch back to stock launcher
I thought Apex supported widget resizing? Try pressing and holding on the widget. If a box appears around it you can resize it. If not, check out Nova launcher.

That has nothing to do with your launcher. Check the tweaks in your settings app. I'm not even sure if CM has that option. I know AOKP does.

Then there's your answer OP. Switch to another ROM or live with it.
Alright guys
I recently installed Omega Rom on my I9505 and for the life of me I cannot remember how to make the wallpaper stay centered. It seems to be going off to the side as if I have other pages on my desktop. I only use one page with icons and a widget and want the wallpaper to be centered. I think I seen an option for this somewhere but cant remember where.
Anyone have any info on this?
Chris

If you are using the default Touchwiz launcher which I am sure you are, it's designed to scroll
the wallpaper. There are plenty of other launchers you can install from the playstore which
have options and settings which can enable or disable the wallpaper scrolling.
When you go to the playstore it's best to install 5-6 different launchers, that way you can
check them out and see which one you prefer.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Hi I've just flashed foxhound rom 0.8 on to my s4 but when I go to change my lock screen wallpaper, the option to choose from gallery is not there. only from the default wallpapers. for home screen the options come out but not for lock screen. Any idea why? I can't Post on the developers thread yet. so if anyone has a solution or could help me post there it would be much appreciated. a couple of guys asked about it before but no one gave a solution.
Thanks.

What launcher are you using? How about navigating to your preferred image in Gallery, then trying to set it as wallpaper from there?
Im using Nova Launcher. Ive tried that too. I can only set as Wallpaper, not Lock screen Wallpaper. I cant ask the foxhound developers as i cant post there yet since i just signed up.
Hmm noticed the same thing here. Previous on TW, able to set lock screen wallpaper from gallery or from settings. Now on Google Edition, doesn't seem to have this option

Note that doing the next few steps will reset your default app preferences, disabled apps etc.
In Settings, Application Manager, hit menu then Reset App Preferences.. read the warning!
This would help IF whatever's causing your problem is actually a 3rd party app that "clashes" (in a way) with the stock Gallery app
edit: also.. if that doesn't help, maybe try changing wallpapers from within touchwiz launcher, THEN relaunch nova
Tried to do what you said adrian, but still no go. When i click on display, wallpaper, lock screen, still only shows me one option there 'wallpapers' . No gallery or option for any 3rd party picture viewer. Could someone maybe help me post on the foxhound 0.8 for i9505 thread?
Thanks alot.
download QuickPic, pretty certain you can set lockscreen wallpaper using that

Correct. Been using that app for two years now. It's way smoother and quicker than the stock Gallery app and has some very useful features as well (excluding unwanted folders etc.) :good:

Are you talking about your home screen? If yes, then you should try using different launchers such as Apex or Nova.

Yeah, the home screen, so, that's the only solution? No way to remove that notification? I dont like launchers

Well if you somehow find a modified LGHome.apk or an Xposed Module that removes the "drag an app.." message, then you're in luck. If the reason why you don't want to use launchers is that the icons looks different then you can easily apply this LG launcher theme so you can feel "at home"

So, I'm using the Nova Launcher Prime instead of the stock OOS launcher. Is there any way of changing the lock screen wallpaper without switching back to stock launcher and changing it from there?

When you on homescreen open menu(I have it on long press fp sensor) then choose wallpaper and select one. When saving you can choose if it will be set as home, lock or both.

As I mentioned earlier, I use Nova Launcher instead of the stock launcher.
Every gallery that I tried using (even the stock one) has got only the "SET AS >> WALLPAPER" option.
There is no "SET AS >> LOCK SCREEN WALLPAPER" option anywhere except the stock launcher - which I don't like to use.
Am I missing something here?

You may not read my post correctly. You don't need any gallery for that.
Just follow my instructions. I'm using Nova Launcher since years and I have the option is always there just checked a second ago . Don't start by selecting a picture with any gallery app!
