Enter Download Mode:
1. Take out the battery, reinstall it.
2. Hold Volume Down + Menu + Power
You will get a screen prompting you to continue or reboot, continue and use Odin to flash the ROM.
There are plenty stock roms here:

Restore using one of those.

hi guys,
i flashed recovery using the manual method from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2468858.
I wasn't able to use the last command
Code:
rm /sdcard/g2_security
I thought it didn't work , i also updated the my phone software.
When my phone restarted it went to cwm and now its stuck there.
Now when I try to boot I can either get in CWM or some Korean Recovery Menu with three option (i tried all nothing happend) or just stuck in boot loop!
I can't get in download mode by pressing vol up and plugging usb cable (tried all possible methods)
I will be glad if someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance
That's an unexpected situation to say the least.
So in short: installation of recovery worked, but you lost access to your ROM.
Correct?
Now, if you had a flashable ROM on your sd card you would be sorted, no?
I would say, get any compatible ROM, put them on a micro sd card and plug them into your phone. Flash through cwm...
Am I misunderstanding?
Otherwise there is always the fully back to stock option:

I was able to fix my phone using this thread. I was able to get in recovery but not in download mode. After executing these commands I flashed stock firmware through LG flashing tools.

The same exact thing happed to me. did u fix it, if yes can you please tell me how??
I have the same issue. Nothing mentioned in other threads is useful just because I CAN'T ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE. Totally stuck Help! Devs! Anyone!
Try installing some custom rom from recovery...after installing custom rom you can enter into download mode and do whatever u want...return to stock using kdz files or anything else..
I attempted to flash a TWRP recovery on my S5 (9006v). I previously had a chinese recovery of CWM but the language was all chinese so I needed to change it.
Now, I'm stuck with it attempting to reboot into recovery and pulling battery / volume +/- etc doesn't seem to stop it from attempting to load recovery (and fail / reboot)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

Great idea, but it isn't responding to power/volume to get into Odin Mode. I used "Boot into recovery" in Rom Installer. Now I can't seem to force it to boot anything except attempting to load recovery over and over.

Pull the battery, wait about 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and press volume down + menu + power and see if you can get into downloadmode and flash a custom recovery (i personaly recommend Philz Touch recovery) or a stock rom to get the phone running again. You might also try a JIG to get into downloadmode, tried it myself and works on the G900F.

Attempted multiple times and for some reason it kicked in this time and went into odin mode. Is there a philz touch for the td-lte version? Didn't see one anywhere, but perhaps there's something hiding somewhere...

No, idea tbh. PM the dev for more info and maybe info about development for your device.

A failed ROM flash shouldn't affect your /recovery partition. Unless it included a Recovery of course. What ROM did you flash? Your Kernel is probably stuck trying to load a non-existent user space (no ROM/bad system partition).
Make sure your device is fully powered off by holding the POWER button for 30 seconds. This will make sure your device is OFF.
I know you've tried one of these methods, but try both of these methods to access recovery JUST IN CASE..
Method 1 (JB Bootloader).
Turn device OFF. Press and HOLD Power + Volume Down. When the LG Logo appears let go of both buttons and again press and HOLD Power + Volume DOWN.
Method 2 (KK Bootloader).
Turn device OFF. Press and HOLD Power + Volume Down. When the LG Logo appears let go of both buttons and HOLD Volume UP + Volume DOWN.
Can you access Download Mode?
Turn phone OFF. Hold Volume UP and plug phone into PC via USB.
thank you for the fast reply, I tried it but I can´t access recovery mode.
But download mode is working, what would be the next step?

Return to Stock :good:.
I'm curious though.. what ROM did you try to flash?
I´m downloading right now thanks for your help.
But there are a few questions I would like to ask what does the download mode look like? I know it´s kind of a silly question but it shows
"firmware update
do not unplug the USB connection until the process is complete
0%
USER B84
ROOTED"
on my device is that normal? and my other question is am I going to lose all my data after flashing that kdz?
edit: I flashed a stock lp rom and it showed SystemUI error after boot so I couldn´t use it at all, at this point the button combinations for the recovery mode weren´t working, too but after waiting some time the SystemUI error was gone and I could use my phone for a few seconds so I kind of managed it to enter into recovery mode an tried to flash the latest darkobas rom but that failed...

Yes, that's the normal Download Mode screen.
B84 is your Battery Percentage.
The ROOTED text is just telling you that your phone has been Rooted.
When flashing your KDZ you have 2 options.. CSE Flash and Normal Flash.
CSE Flash will wipe all partitions. Choose this if you want to start fresh.
Normal Flash will wipe some partitions and keep your data.
Don't change any of the other options!
I recommend you do a CSE Flash too be honest. I haven't messed with Lollipop enough and have never done a Normal Flash over it.
for some reason it is failing at 2%
Radon7 said:

Is that using Normal Flash?
Have you tried CSE Flash?
What model variant of the G2 do you have?
Lollipop changes your partition scheme a little so trying to flash a KK KDZ over a Lollipop partition scheme will cause errors, unless you do a CSE Flash. This is also why once you flash LP you can't just flash a KK ROM afterwards. First you need to revert your partition scheme back to what KK needs.
So with all that said.. do a CSE Flash. If you're rooting and flashing data using custom recovery you should always have a back up of all your data/media on your PC anyway .
it´s the same using both methods normal and cse :/
I have the d802 version, and I´m trying to flash a lollipop kdz, should I try it with a kitkat one?
I also found this thread but I don´t know if it´s useful because I need working recovery for it to work I think

Yes try a KK KDZ. If the KK KDZ continues to fail, try the TOT Method (the TOT method is under the KDZ method).
Yes that's the post I made a while ago.. which I was going to possibly link you to if you had a D802 .. but I forgot you can't seem to access Recovery at all.

Help me please! I did every step you detailed, and I managed to make a nandroid backup with TWRP. But now I am unable to boot back into my system. Every time I click on reboot into system it boots back into TWRP... I did not think that making a backup on TWRP would soft-brick my phone, but it has.
Is there any suggestions you could give me to fix this? Was it my fault for using an app to restart my phone into recovery? Is there a way to boot into system from the TWRP terminal?
If it matters, when I boot up my phone I see this message on the top:
"Recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warrenty bit: recovery"

Your backup probably got corrupt. Errors, unfortunately, do happen. You may have to flash this firmware to your device to get it working.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-J700P/
Mine did the same thing. I flashed with flashfire booted into twrp made a backup then tried booting into system but it just reboots me back into recovery.. i flashed just the stock recovery afterwards and it booted right into system.. i tried wiping system data cache internal storage dalvix cache then restoring the backup but it still booted into twrp instead of system. Like i did say it did boot right into system after flashing the stock recovery.
Works

Thanks a lot man that worked. Really do appreciate it...:good:
Hey everyone. First of all I'm sorry if I create this thread into a wrong category. I'm new in this forum, just here to ask for you guys's help.
My phone is stuck, or better saying it's at bootloop. I don't have a Sd Card, but an USB and a port to connect it with my Galaxy S8.
I don't think I will be able to flash a ROM with Odin so I decided to flash it with USB.
I'm currently downloading a 7z file.
My question is that does it matter if the ROM that I'll flash is a .ZIP file or 7z file ? Would it cause any more trouble because I really do not know if it can get any worse.
I hope somebody can help me clean this mess . All I did was remove the root from magisk and ta-daaa it got me a bootloop.
Thanks for helps from now.

I can get into recovery mode, there's no problem in that. I downloaded a Rom but my phone didn't recognize the ROM since it was .7z file.
And I cannot flash with odin, I guess my phone's usb debug wasn't on before it got into loop.
Then why dont you just reflash/ reroot Magisk?
To flash files have be in Zip-format
