As there is no support from Triangle away on 4.3...
Can Flashing Stock Rom [4.3/4.4.2] via Odin able to remove my Custom download count?
& what about device status after that?
& I don't care about Knox counter!
# Device's Current status :
Stock 4.3 (N7100-XXEMI6) ROOTED.
KNOX VOID - 0×1
CUSTOM DOWNLOAD COUNT - 01
Device Status - Custom.

Look I did this myself to remove the counters on 4.3 and return all official.
1. Download official 4.3 and put it on sd card.
2. Install Mobile odin.
3. Flash the stock firmware through mobile odin and inject root to it.
4. Now after all boots install triangle away; we did this because triangle away only works with stock recovery.
5. Now after you use triangle away all counters will go away exept knox counter.
6. From odin pc flash the firmware again and wait for it to boot.
7. Now you will find all counters official exept system status custom on bootloader.
8. To get everything stock you will have to a factory reset again from the device.
This procedure takes time, make sure you have enough patience and battery.
This is for the 4.3. Didn't try it on 4.4.2.
Goodluck, report back please.

I'm rooted but using stock recovery not custom one, so can I use triangle away now? (on 4.3).

So, my S4 wont read my simcard anymore, and I have to send it back.
What do I need to do to make sure that Samsung accepts and replaces my device.
It's Rooted, has a custom recovery and ROM.
Thanks.
EDIT: Its a Canadian S4.
Remove flash back via Odin find stock factory image for YOUR DEVICE (I337m) I take it you didn't update it so find the Odin files that correspond with the fw that your phone officially came with

So I went back to the Official Samsung firmware, and used triangle away. Now when I boot into download, both say official. However, when I check device status, it still says custom.
I have removed Root and have a custom recovery installed. Found a Sprint S4 recovery, but I can't find the Canadian. Will the sprint one work?
Only other method I could think of is using Kies (if you don't have it downloaded it) to restore it completely.

See, I cannot go back to stock and do the triangle away method as SIM card is required to activate the phone, which currently won't read a simcard. Can I not just flash the recovery? Or is there a way to bypass simcard activation? Thanks
I have a rooted N900 running stock rom, I want to reflash the stock rom, the question is; do I have to unroot first? Or I can flash it right without unrooting
I'm not concerned about warranty and reseting flash binary, I just want to get a clean stock rom again

Your KNOX will always 0x1, so at first download official firmware from sammobile.com than download odin, in AP choose your extracted firmware md5 file and flash it after successfully flashing it must say PASS! when your phone finishes booting go to recovery and factory reset.

Can I flash directly for Kitkat? Or do I need to flash the original firmware first before I update to kitkat. Sorry for asking too much question newbie here Lol!
no problem if I know I share my opinion you can flash whatever you want, if you want KK or JB but you must know that you can't downgrade kitkat to jellybean so you choose

Hey peeps.
Having a small issue,
So I decided to go back to stock, I download the latest firmware from Sam firmware.
After flashing the firmware I go into the stock recovery to clear cache and wipe data factory reset. I then setup my phone like I would and after checking the status it says that it's custom.
Some background info - I was using a AOSP ROM before flashing the stock firmware and had my SD card during the flashing process.
Anyone have issues like this? Or any solutions?
Thanks.

I had it after updating from German stock rom (DBT) to Xuenc2 (ETL). When I installed the Xuend rom, status came back to official.
So do I have to root and install a NB7 custom ROM before flashing the stock BTU NB7 firmware?

Try Traingle away app then after reseting the counter and binary to official boot directly to download mod then flash stock rom via odin. if didn't work factory reset your device and flash the rom one more time. Hope it helps

Hi,
I was trying to root my N9005 according to the video tutorial posted above, Everything went OK, except the point where it says "Recovery Booting... Recovery is not seandroid enforcing Set warrenty bit: recovery" and it just stays there, it's been there for around 10 minutes now. I checked the Auto Reboot option on Odin.
Any ideas?
Try flashing recovery from odin of kitkat. It might have flashed recovery for 4.3

maybe u can check on this thread. coz, chainfire make a different cf auto root, for 4.4 and 4.3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423
SM-N9005 (International Qualcomm): CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip
(only works on 4.4 bootloaders, if you're still on 4.3 use the old version which you can find here: http://d-h.st/J32)

The phone was running 4.3 before I attempted to root it. I rooted it with the 4.4.2 link, is there a way to go back? Do I just repeat the process again with the 4.3 root?

Your note 3 N9005 or N900? After that go to samsung update website or sammobile to download your firmware; refer to your phone 1st.

N9005, but I fixed it, I simply used Odin 1.87 to flash the phone again with the 4.3 rooting firmware, and everything was good.
Thanks for your help!
