[Q] Restoring apps when upgrading Android Version - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I'm currently using the Liquid Smooth Rom 2.10 Android version 4.3 jellybean and I've been meaning to upgrade to kitkat for awhile now. I've tried upgrading to kitkat with the newest CyanogenMod rom but I can't restore any of my apps with Titanium backup. How do I restore apps so I don't have to restart in games and lose my data?

some apps cannot be restored from 4.3 to 4.4

Instagram crashing with LTE 4.3 ROM

I just installed the CM10.2 LTE 4.3 Rom from negroplasty with the .27hybrid modem and its working great except for Instagram, it keeps crashing even after uninstalling/reinstalling. I did a complete system wipe when I installed the rom. Any help? Thanks.
It works fine with me on stock 4.3, consider asking for help in the thread about your choice of ROM

Losing root after flashing New ROM

I am currently rooted and running clean RoM 2.6
I have Franco kernel also.
Trouble is, whenever I wipe and flash a new Rom, I'm losing root.
Is this normal? Should I have to reroot every time I flash a new Rom? I have not had to do this on previously rooted phones I've had?

Click to collapse
Just wipe your phone and either restore your backup or flash a stock 4.2.2 ROM.
