Does anyone know if there are any aosp or aopk ROMs compatible with 24a or are the devs still working things out
Looking for an aosp ROM that I could just flash over malladus ROM for the lg g2 vs980 without going back to 12b baseband
Beanstalk just came out.

Mahdi Beta 4 has been rock solid, the best 24a based non stock rom I have tried to date.
Resurrection remix also was just updated with 24a

I tried Mahdi ROM and followed the directions to the tee did a complete clean install of ROM and flashed the r1 patch but the volumes are really low I even tried every sound booster out there even put one together myself but only boosted the volumes slightly I was wandering if anyone else is experiencing the same low volumes? see I work in a pretty noisy environment and I need the ringer to be pretty loud I've noticed the low volumes on all the aosp Roms I've tried. So for now I switched back to malladus ROM along with my sound booster which makes the volumes extremely loud. so in the low volume problem an aosp bug or is there a fix for it? And by the way I'm on the Verizon variant of the lg g2
I really love Mahdi ROM but just can't deal with the low volumes hopefully there's a fix for it
I'm currently running Carbonrom and I love it. For the 24a bootstack, bigshotrob22 has rebased the official Carbonrom releases and is posting them in the dev thread. The link to the post with the most recent version is below.

I have no idea why this seems only to be happening to my phone... I get zero 4g despite my phone showing 4g. I have updated profile and prl in tw... I have tried twrp and cwm. I just can't get 4g on a aosp ROM. Any help would be appreciated. Both screen shots show speed tests in the same place while I was at work.
It's been known that aosp in Many cases causes this. My last phone epic 4g touch was the same way. Flash stock rom and data speeds back to normal

I have had issues with aosp when I would dirty flash. I'm currently running Carbon and 4g is running great. Just try a clean install. Could also consider that we are mostly on nightlys and unofficial releases. No telling as of yet but I'm getting pretty good speeds on Carbon

I always do a full wipe before I flash a aosp ROM.. I seem to be the only one on the forums having this issue. the only thing I can think of is a bad modem. Haven't found a flashable modem so I may unroot odin stock and reroot and see what that gets me. I only run aosp roms on all my phones...this is killing me

From what I understand we can't flash modems yet. Are you on MDL or MDC? I have had issues with the modem on TW after unrooting on MDL, but they were fixed when I reinstalled the update from Sprint.
Not really sure how the radios interact with AOSP, but could have something to do with the differences between the update.
How can I get Knock On or something similar if I use a 4.4 rom such as CM11 or PA? Just got my G2 D801 today. Is there a certain kernal or mod?

A lot of the KK roms (4.4.2) have these features already built in. I know for a fact that cm11 and PA have it where you can knock on and then you have to tap the status instead of just anywhere on the screen to knock off
I'm pretty sure it's a standard feature and only the newer ROM's that were just released don't have it yet
I have sound on maludus 2.0.1 but none on aosp has anyone else reported this problem

As far as I know, I have not come across any AOSP roms as of yet on the 24 baseband, that would be the issue. You should flash back to a 12b baseband to use an AOSP rom at this time.
Edit:
I stand corrected I have come across it seems one AOSP rom based off of the 24a baseband, but it seems the developer has left this project.

Hello, the ROM I recommend you use is CyanogenMod 11, I'm using this ROM right now on my LG G2, and I love the performance and numerous customizations you can do with it.[emoji4][emoji4][emoji4], what's your variant of the LG G2?

No problem [emoji4], the knock on gesture will still exist on the LG G2 running CyanogenMod 11, you'll just have to knock on the status bar to lock your phone, and you can knock on your screen to turn your phone back on again, make sure you backup your Stock LG ROM using TWRP before you continue to install the ROM, and download the latest Gapps(Google Apps) for the Rom.[emoji4][emoji4]
Good Luck[emoji106][emoji106]

What ROM's are people running on their Verizon LG V20? Im getting ready to root mine and go through that process. Looking over the ROM's though and they seem to be lacking. Back in the day we had tons of options, now we have a handful on XDA. Are there ROM's people are running that arent listed?
Using the LineageOS weekly builds and they've been pretty good. Mostly just missing out on the second screen though.

That's true for anything. Just going out on a limb here, I'm guessing since we are in the LG V20 forum its safe to assume we are using that device.
Next time come prepared with proof of your claim. With no proof and bold claims you sound like a fool.
as Android goes further the ROM field is super small now KK had the biggest amount of ROMS not a lot of this model I have this version too we have RR DU is coming down the line Lineage WETA AOKP Here is a list of ROMS https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=search&s=us996&type=files
I have a ls997 and im running Paranoid Android.

The Verizon build of not so stock is probably what you're looking for. Stock based so everything works minus all the bloat. Has static at boot, search some of the other kernels, there is a few that fix static at boot.

BroeknOs to be
Currently I'm running stock OS on LightningZap! kernel (still in beta, but looking like I'll have a release soon).
I have gotten BrokenOs running quite well and smoothly. But lacking the second screen is what's holding me back.
On LG V20 AT&T (H910), btw...
