[Q] Why galaxy s4 I9500 is not getting AOSP roms ?

I love AOSP roms like PA and Cyanogenmod . I hate touchwiz So I was very disappointed when I didn't find any roms AOSP for my galaxy s4 I9500 . I've noticed that the i9505 version is already enjoying the vanilla . So why is this ? I though the international version is the most important version just like the galaxy s3 i9300.
Can someone give more detail on this issue?

CM devs said it's a no go for the exynos chip which is in OCTA core i9500. The snapdragon i9505 will have official CM. I'm sure exynos may just as well.
There will be some one able to do in coming days just have to wait

According to the article it's very unlikely we gonna see AOSP roms for i9500 because Samsung will never release the octa 5 sources for the developers.
After reading about it I guess I'll sell my s4 i9500 for the i9505 ....

we recommend since more than over a year to not buy exynos powered phones if you want to run aosp based roms.

damn im freaking angry also! i just went back to my home whit my aamzing nexus 4 i realized its 8gb version went back for refound i was forced to buy something from there so i sayed ok i want a s4 and ehy just rapidly openeded a s4 for me whitout asking which version what what color or... stupid vendor

You obviously didn't notice that the article links to files from XDA. This is a ported ROM. The Google Edition is the GT-I9505, not the 9500. Samsung will likely never release properly functioning userspace drivers, etc. for the Exynos, so anything that CM devs do to get things working will be, at best, polishing the turd that Samsung leaves the AOSP community.

[Q] Why most users use sm n905 not the sm n900?

Guys please make custom rom or kernel for sm n900

Sammy has bad reputation for not releasing source on time for exynos. That's why most devs avoid those phones and that's why the n9005, which is the snapdrgon version, has better development compared to the n900.

Anyone know of any news concerning the Sm n900 note 3?....I've been checking the forums and no signs of a cyanogenmod , Aosp , slim etc roms. Hardly any developments there

its not hardly to dev but almost dev came from US and Europe where SM n9005 is more popular than sm n900. Sorry for my bad english

I know where to find what's out for the phone I'm just saying I don't see any major roms like aokp and cyanogenmod out. I'll probably sell this phone and buy a HTC one if nothing shows up. This stock Rom:thumbdown:

Exynos Note N900

Anyone got any news about ANY developments in the Exynos Note 3 forums.... any cm or aosp ?.... at this point I'm desperate. I'm ready to attempt to flash a rom from another variant just to see if it would work. I love the phone but the support isn't there like I thought :what: :thumbdown:

No, N900 have not any any aosp/cm roms at this moment, unfortunately(

Look like Xiaomi gave up on 3G Redmi Note, and focus on Note 4G now.

No its not the case !
All Redmi devices are bound to get Kitkat (MIUI 6) by end of this month.

Nexus 5 has official Lollipop base latest. So the custom KitKat based MIUI v6 is out for it. While our device has 4.2.2 latest base so no V6 for us yet.
But, they have officially said that we will receive it by end of the month and Lollipop in Q1 2015
