Just did a little comparison of Z2 display against previous Sony flagships Z1 and ZL. White balance values are set to default values 0/0/(0) at auto brightness on each of them. I usually dial up those values on ZL for a better experience, but that's entirely subjective. So here we go with the default values.
First one of each pair has the x-reality engine (or bravia engine on ZL) turned on followed by the one without x-reality/bravia engine.

A lot of people have complained about the HD2 camera, but here are a view examples of shots I took over the last week that show it can still take some pretty nice shots. All have been retouched in Photoshop for artistic effect...

To be honest, the camera settings are pretty irrelevant due to the amount of post-processing performed. However, I use +4, +3, +4.

Since the screen is like the most important thing for a phone, there will always be a debate. If the screen doesn't bother you then don't bother going into screen comparison topics, let other people "waste" their time by debating about the screen and/or viewing angles.
AW: please stop talking about xperia z screen (pics)
The Problem is that there are different display panels er firmwares.
I tried 3 different xz in 3 different shops, 2 were the same , but the 3d one looked much worser (angles and black)

Which it should be... They both use similar pannels and technology except for the ZU's one being 1.44 inches bigger
There's been a lot of debate about the pentile screen of the Note Pro, some people can see the blurry/jaggedy outline of text, while others can't... so I present to you a macro comparison of screens.
I've used the playstore as the source; tripod was stationary, I just moved the tablets and focused.

My opinion: The P900 is clearly missing parts of the text/image... it's like a strainer/sieve and can't even draw circles properly. It's considerably brighter though... both were on 100% brightness with Auto disabled... BTW: with Auto brightness on and in sunlight you can get the P900 even brighter.
The N10 has more natural colours, but they look a little flat; P900 was in dynamic mode.
Read from a Taiwanese forum that Z3 camera has an issue when taking photo of pure white scene (paper, wall etc.), where a light tone of green circle patch appear on the photo.
Strange thing is that it only affect pure white scene, so if there is other colors enough in the frame, the issue wont appear.
I dont have the phone yet but am thinking of getting the Z3C. Can someone try it and see if Z3C has this issue too?
