Anyone else obsessed with HTC products?
This is my little army of HTC phones past and present I have minus the Touch Diamond which I actually sold awhile back. The only bad experience I've had with HTC is battery life (which is no longer a problem w/M8) and the purple camera issue on the M7 (which I sent in for warranty repairs).

I had quite a few myself...
Mogul, Touch, Touch Pro 2, Hero, EVO, Inspire, MyTouch 4G, Sensation, One M7, and now One M8. I might be missing one or two in there somewhere.
To be honest, I haven't been very happy with any of them other than the M7, my EVO, and now my M8. The rest of them all had plenty of issues that made me reluctant to get the M7 originally. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact my roommate wanted it and then couldn't figure out how to use it and had me trade my S4 with him, I never would have had another HTC product.
HTC, desire, hox, m7 and m8, all smiles here
I keep coming back. I've had a Wildfire, Sensation, HOX and now the M8. They make really nice phones.

Are there people who own a HTC Hero that is having the same 'yellowish tint' problem as the HTC Diamond?
I own a HTC Hero that has this issue. Already swapped it for another unit, but that one is having the same issue as well.
With the HTC Diamond it looks like this.

I do not have another HTC Hero to compare it with, but I've seen a HTC Hero at a local retailer which does not have this problem (problem is that it's like 90 euro's more expensive at their store).
i can't see the hero having the same problem as that, they have totally diffrent screens, the problem with the diamond was cause HTC was sourcing some of there screens from a cheaper operation in china, maybe its just a one off or a hardware problem
Maybe your eyesight is messed up.

If it was, I wouldn't see the difference between my device, and the one at the store.
I have a HTC Hero and my gf too - she had the white Hero. She has this yellowish tint.
Also some light leakage on the buttons on the bottom. Freakin' sucks, but she doesn't care much..
Actually, im just kidding
Isn't it amazing how this little bugger bests some of these behemoth phones coming out? Its great that htc sees this trend and meets it while delivering the potential in selling smaller powerhouses.
The Dell streak does have potential too, just needs serious tweeks first.

A friend of mine here at work has been beta testing the Streak for about 2 weeks. Hands down, the Aria is sooo much better.
The screen on the streak is horrible at feedback, and the keyboard blows.
Although, this my just be my opionon, I wouldn't waste my time with it. Besides, who wants to stick a package of graham crackers in their pocket???
I was actually debating between the gigantic Dell Streak and the tiny but powerful Aria as my next phone.
I'm glad I got the Aria =)
I was actually waiting on the streak to upgrade from my iphone, but was blown away with the aria and I'm glad I went with it for sure!
Here's a dramatization of using the Streak as a phone..

Is that a DZ or a G2 ? Would be great if we can finally put to rest the memory size issue, i.e. that the DZ really does have the same NAND chip as the G2. Someone already did a teardown on a G2 to prove that it really does have a 4GB chip, even though it has only 1.5 GB available.
Consensus seems to be that the DZ has exactly the same. However I'm not aware of this being proved via teardown.
Its a g2,
The storage is the same on both phones. Its a myth that the g2 has 4GB. They are the same phone entirely this is my belief

I believe the same thing. BUT, surely, until someone has down a DZ tear-down, can we really say this is a picture of "our" (DZ) phones ?
Wow, LG really wanted to copy Samsung's ideas. At first they announce the awful 4:3 ratio Vu and next thing you know it's also going to sport a stylus too. Link below from Engadget:

Everyone copies someone at some point. The great thing about Android is that there is choice. Whether that is removable battery, screen aspect ratio or physical keyboard, screen resolution etc.
I wouldn't buy the LG Vu primarily because of it's UI and the lack of frequent updates LG is famous for, but hating LG for all that doesn't benefit or justify our purchase. The point is to keep android going and let the costumers decide for themselves.
This thread reminds me of the type of blogs i read labeled as "Slide to unlock is OURS! No-one else should have it!" Samsung didn't invent the stylus, but i am glad it is present on my phone.
Well this really'd be better to make notes with this thing. But It's definitely would be worse to watch HD movies and to hold this in one hand and also you'll need bigger pocket for carrying this.

Not really, if you ask S-Voice: "What is your name?" you will see that it says wolfram alpha so from an analitical point of view based on the data it has in it's database the answer is correct.
Fake! I try many time with no answer!
It is not fake...s-voice and Siri both get answers from wolfram alpha ... Below is the result.
But honestly who cares .. those are based some customer reviews? From where? I think may be some 5 people have that crappy trophy anyway and they will be MS fanboys. Windows phone sucks big time until the next version comes out.
Edit: dupe post
I have a HTC EVO 3D and bought for about 3 days a HTC Trophy because in my opinion its the best windows phone for the price yet.
It costs me 140 euro and thats cheap (!)
