Try fitting some Samsung Accessories to see if it fits? Search on Youtube "Samsung Galaxy S3 Korean" and compare it with your phone and send the seller the video. I hate fake phones!
cheers

hmm thats not gonna cut it, my old s3 is a i9300, and this "new" one claims to be a i9300, but its completely different, and doesn't have the samsung boot logo, just comes up "android", should this be enough? cause i9300 is the international s3, so how could the korea i9300 be any different? does a korea i9300 even exist?
thanks, i just need some facts so i can get my money back

A Korean i9300 does exist. But once it shows "Android" as the boot animation, It's automatically a fake as Samsung never distributes phones that show that (that I know of). Get your money back! :fingers-crossed:

My brother bought one of those too during a travel. Korean Samsung IMEI as well.
But then he came back to Belgium and our local GSM/3g network provider blacklisted his S3/IMEI...
great

wow, thanks heaps, you guys are awesome, and how good is this site!
cheers, i've contacted the seller, lets hope he gets back to me :good:
EDIT: seller gave refund, he'd been ripped off himself, so he tried to get rid of it on gumtree. Phew. thanks again.
I'm sorry if this is frequently asked, I have no idea how any if this works, I've exhausted google and reddit as well as calling cell tech places around town, someone recommended this place, said you guys were the best when it came to this kind of stuff.
One of the Cell Tech places I called said the "File" doesn't exist yet.
Does anyone know if it'll work? If it's still unknown? And is it safe?
Yes. It will work after unlocking.

So all I have to do is unlock it? No need for any flashing/rooting/magic?
Thank you SO MUCH for responding.

I hope someone here could.
If it is a clone, then it is not really a Note3 and none of the stuff here will work on it since it does not really have a Samsung system on it.
Hardware will be totally different, software will be totally different. You could try a few ROMS, but I'd guarantee nothing would work.. Have a nose around Google, you can usually find software for clone/copy phones.
Hello,
A friend of mine bought a Galaxy Note 3 and it turned out to be fake, so he gave it to me! So I started using it and it always got lagy and annoying, I can't even use my sim on that because the sim reader identifies my sim card but it doesn't connect to the service! So what do you think I should do. I was thinking though about trying to root it to cyanogenmod and use it like a normal phone. But I have rooted a phone one time only and it got bricked. So I need your help with rooting it if you suggest I do. Again you might have better ideas than I do so I'm not going to do anything to it unless I see an interesting thing I can do with it.
Regards

This is the wrong forum- this is a Note 4 forum.
Also, as it's a fake Note 3, I imagine rooting etc wouldn't be as straight-forward as a real Note 3? I'm no expert but I imagine unless you can find someone else on this forum who has the exact same device as you, then perhaps you won't be able to root it etc? But I'm a noob and not particularly well versed in these matters, there may be a way around it but I imagine you'll need help from someone with physical access to the device.
If I was you- I'd return it, or sell if and recoup as much cash from it as you can and then buy a real Note 3 (as they're relatively cheap now but are still pretty powerful devices).
Good luck
Hi guys.Got a little problem regarding the Note 4.I got a fella who wants to trade a Note 4 N910F with no signal and nothing happens when inserting a sim card with my Iphone 5.The question is, any chance it might be a live demo unit and i end up with a brick?Or it could be something worth fixing?
Kind regards,
Stefan
Well you would have to flash a stock rom from samfirmware I guess.
Have you checked the settings and about device?
