[Q] Problem using micro HDMI port with CM 11 - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a Nexus 10 running CM 11. Before I updated to CM 11, I used to plug my Nexus 10 to the TV using the micro HDMI port and watch videos on my Nexus 10 through the TV. After the update to CM 11, I was not able to do that anymore. I want to know if this is a CM 11 issues or there is something wrong with my micro HDMI adapter. Has anybody else have the same problem? Let me know.
Thank you.

Same for me but I'm pretty sure it happened after one of the nightlies but not the first one I tried. Tried reverting to the previous version, then tried a 4.3 and 4.2 and can't get it working

N7 and dodge uconnect

hi, wondering if anyone else here is using their N7 with dodge uconnect. Finally took my n7 on a trip last weekend...and while it paired fine it would not stream music. I am running cm10.1 nightlies .
wondering if its the tablet/kernel/rom or uconnect. I also use a Nexus 4 regularly to stream BT audio and it works fine. also on cm10.1 nightlies.

Probably a nightly issue

It may be a CM10.1 Nightly issue. I was on CM10.1 a couple of weeks back and it worked just fine. Downgrade and try.
Even the Feb 18 build of ParanoidAndroid had this bug and was fixed in the next (Feb 19th) build.
Yea that's what I was thinking thanks I'm try that

Sorry old topic but just wondering how you got on? I'm using the latest CM10.1 nightly but not getting any mirroring or audio at all. Phone however does go into landscape mode. Have tried different HDMI cables and also different monitors. Thanks.

This works as well.

Unfortunately from what I have read, the N4 isn't compatible with MHL which really sucks because I have the stuff left over from my HTC Sensation.
The Nexus 4 utilizes Slimport which is based on the DisplayPort technology

Link to adapter on Amazon, works well with Stock and Paranoid from what I remember reading, not sure why others haven't merged it. I use it on CM10.1 despite not cloning the display properly, hopefully it will be fixed in one of the nightlies at some point.

I ordered today the slim port. Will be here tomorrow and I'll let you know how it works.

Headset mic not working on CM

I'm on 10.2-20131122, CWM recovery, and whatever kernel came with this version. I have tried other builds. I tried a few 10.1 builds also all with the same issue. I have wired headphones with mic that worked fine on stock and works on my girlfriend's HTC one running CM 10.2. The button still works to skip songs and activate Google now, but when it comes time to talk it doesn't pick up anything through the mic. Any ideas? TIA
So nobody else is experiencing this?
