Hi, i have a galaxy s4 i9505. With the Stock Rom 4.2 it was no Problem to connect the Phone with my octavia. With Version 4.3 and t-mobile branding it was Not possible to connect, so i have unbrandet the Phone and testet some Roms, but IT was Not possible to connect. With 4.4 the Same... I think there are more People With reiß Problem!? If anyone know wich Rom the rsap protocol Supports, it would be great If they Post the Rom Name of an link!!

hi everyone. im having a problem. i tried different roms for the hermes but none seem to support tmobile usa edge signal. i had the same problem with the treo 750 i have until i upgraded to a windows rom that randomly and happily supported tmobile usa edge and gave me te E icon along with edge speeds. can someone pleaase help me with this because GPRS is wayyyy tooo slow. do i have to do a registry hack or install a specific rom? this problem is VERY confusing... i apprecite it GREATLY...
hi, the radio has more to do with edge than the os rom. Need more info:
what Radio version do u have? where are u located? what tmobile internet plan do u have? what current os rom? wm6 or wm6.1?
Ensure your phone's radio version is not low r than 1.27 ,if ,just upgrade your radio drive.Strongly recommend official version 1.47, but the latest version is 1.56.
Before you upgrade your phone ,make sure spl is higher than V7.

I'm searching for this radio rom. It should be the original one used in dopod p860. As I already found out the hardware is different to original polaris devices. So maybe this is the reason why no radio rom from this forum works without problems. Is there anyone who is able to help me?

It doesn't have WIFI module and 3G support.

I just tried to download the official 6.1 upgrade from HTC's website, but when I submit my serial number (verified under the battery and on the Touch's box) The website denies access to the download saying that Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device..
Is this problem common ? Is there a workaround ?

Yeah its not available for India too... although I don't know if this applies for Asia in general. Also we get the Mapking gps and not Tomtom. I guess that may be one reason... or something else...

hey... am in India too... can you please tell me what the radio version is on your standard ROM which came with the phone??? i need to downgrade to it... i upgraded to the WWE HTC WM 6.1 (not meant for India)... it works but i didnt like it... the deal is that with the radio version this update installs, no custom OS ROMs work... so now am stuck with this WM 6.1 till i downgrade my radio verison to original (which in all my stupidity i never wrote down )

Ok I see.. well here is the Radio ROM version according to the Device Information screen: Radio Version: 1.58.25.14 Protocol: 25.69.30.05W. Hope it helps.
just got my cruise yesterday, already did hard-spl using olipros hard-spl. also upgraded to wm6.1 i got my wm6.1 rom from wiki of polaris. wm6.1 has tomtom but i didnt use it, i installed mapking(comes with the package) on my polaris. you can also find the radio rom in the wiki.
thanx a lot guys... with the info i was able to downgrade from the official HTC WM 6.1 ... am able to use custom ROMs now... am basically at the same version levels as KULL now... the only difference being the protocol... i have 25.69.30.05H to his 25.69.30.05W... dont know what that means... from what i could gather 'H' supports a few more bands for GSM and UTMS than a 'W'. doesnt really make a diff to me... but i havent been able to connect to GPRS on airtel... dont know if the W/H diff is doing that... sorting that out now... thanx again
WM 6.1 for Asia / India

I'm in India too and want to find out if others in Asia / India have upgraded to this official WM 6.1!
Is it worth moving to 6.1 and if so where can I download that WWE 6.1 ROM? As someone mentioned, I cannot download it from the official HTC site with my serial number as it seems its not available for my region.
I did hard SPL earlier and now running udk version on that which is very stable and I'm using it for about 5-6 months now - no issues at all. Dont want to get into any trouble while upgrading to this official one, but if its smooth and similar stability, I would like to move to the official ROM for now.

I don't know about the rest of Asia, but surely not available yet for India. I also got an email confirmation from Support recently. Will have to wait and watch, I think they were in a hurry to bring out ROM update for the Diamond since the launch it has received very luke warm response also got some bad word of mouth publicity where people found it buggy. Guess it should come some time...

I'm reading a lot in this forum, but I can't really understand all the updates, firmwares and stuff.
I have a iPAQ 614c (bought in Sweden) and flashed it with WM6.5 (21232 Beta 6 WWE). It works great, so far better than the 6.1 beta (thanks keyx!)
Since I got this phone I've some problem with the calls, sometimes it's bad sound quality, sometimes people try to call me, but the phone don't ring.
1. Does a newer radio firmware solves these kind of problems?
2. Is it possible to flash back a radio firmware if a newer doesn't help?
3. Which radio firmware is the best and compatible with my Ipaq?
4. I've tried flash to v.0.89 but the update program says my phone is not compatible (Product IDs: FA988AA#ABB, FA988AT#ABB, FA992AA#ABB, FB136AA#ABB, and FA992AT#ABB is supported), mine is called A992AT#ABS. Where do I find one for my phone?
5. On hp.com says modem fw, is it the same as radio fw?
