looking for feedback on if the charging flap only points down when opened with a case, or does it still fold back.
looking at a neo case, slim armor, small tpu, ringke ... something like that.
still looking for a dock, and this dumb flap seems to fight it, lol
does this phone have a docking screen, say my gs3 had time weather, stuff like that when placed in a dock,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Dual-Do...one_PDA_Chargers&hash=item1e8a49efb0#shpCntId could be one option, but if the flap doesn't open enough with a case on, its no good.
thanks much

I've got the neo hybrid from Spigen and opening the port is a pain so I've bought a wireless charger and receiver now so I don't have to keep fiddling with the cover...it is eventually going to break off I feel. The cover will fold back but not easily and if you out it in a dock then it's going to add additional pressure to the strap that holds it in place

Hi,
I'd like to share with you that I am using a Crumpler case for my HTC TyTN II. The case I am using is called The p.p. 55. It fits the phone perfectly and is great for taking in and out of pockets. The only disadvantage is that it zips all the way round so is not particularly wired headphones friendly as you have to leave it unzipped at the bottom but overall I am very happy with it as a phone case.
Cheers,
andrew-in-woking
Got a link ?
I dont want my loose in my pocket, but the standard case that came in the box is way too bulky for when wearing jeans.
the att tilt (us version) doesn't come with a case. andrew, do u mind taking pics and posting them? i used to have the seido case which is awesome! i have the invsishield but haven't installed it yet.
With a quick google search I found it on amazon here.
Doesn't look too bad, with a variety of colours.
This was the original one that came with the phone:

The massive problem was the un-removable clip on the back. I say un-removable, but it can be removed, though it would have to be permanently by clipping it off.
Earlier when I turned my G1 over, I found multiple lines on the back of the battery cover, I have no idea what they are but they obviously don't look very good. The phone has always been kept in a case and only today have I noticed them. I have a white G1 so the cover is a light bronze color. The lines resemble lines made by a pen very lightly. However, after applying alcohol (hand sanitizer), water, soap and intense rubbing it will not come off. Has anyone ever scratched their cover? What does it look like? I know this is a very... strange question to ask haha.

Yeah it is. I mean, really...it's probably a scratch.

suppose we can't really tell unless you get us some pics
my guess is, it's either a scratch or a crack.
I cant take any pics... they don't show up very well in the picture. But ah well, my Shield Skin comes in a few days, and new themes will be released in like a week from the competition to make me feel better. In the end I will probably end up just buying another battery case for 10 bucks off eBay. Must be my OCD haha.
Phone is being sold because I wanna get money towards another phone
phone is in great condition. The screen is new and recently and replaced.
Though there is two small cracks on the bottom of hd2 below the buttons nothing really. and the charger port is loose

Phone has a custom chromed backplate to it as seen in the picture.
With the phone I'll package two stock batteries one extended battery (along with the backcover for it) two cases, a leather pouch(the belt thing) and a leather holder for it.
Accepting paypal only and would ideally want a sale done soon

1) Place a paper with your id (as on xda, ie.adolfo778) beside the phone in the photo to assure the phone is real and with you and not some random photo taken from net.
2) Would be better if you had placed this in the marketplace forums although a mod might just shift it soon.
good point didnt really think about the nametag thing.
Hi guys,
For a long time I'm wondering is there's a plastic layer on the camera when you buy it. I notice something that could go for a plastic ring-formed layer around the camera lens, that holds a little dust at the rounded edges with time, but cant be pulled off? I tried all differend kind of things, but it won't come off... Still, I asked everyone of my family to see if they agree they see a plastic ring too, and they all said yes..
Have you noticed anything like this on your S4 camera?

Yes, there is a plastic guard on camera.
In my case, it popped out a bit from corner some months ago, which I later pulled off.
I cant seem to pull it..
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
there is a plastic layer over it
remember I tried to pull it off also and had some trouble since it seem not to remove
try with a sharp razor (at least that way I managed to remove it)
Opened up an old PC on a stick to see what I could do to improve wireless signal and ended up breaking off what appears to be a part of the wifi antenna however I have no idea what it is correctly called, a few google searches and I come up short. I want to know what the part is called so that hopefully I can find out how to reattach it.
The part looks like a gold color pin that pushes in, sort of like a micro plunger. When the case is put back together there is a metal plate on the case that makes contact with this pin to create an antenna of sorts.
I would just solder it back on but I can't make out any metal contact left to solder to on the spot where it broke off from.

Howdy mate,
That's a surface mount pogo pin, Lson is a company that makes them, you could probably salvage one if you could find an old car kit or phone charger from the late 90's. You could also replace it with a piece of springy steel from a battery terminal but that might affect the antenna wavelength.
Tetsuo
Thank you!
That is exactly correct
