Microsoft released a facebook app before, however it doesn't seem to work anymore. Probably change in FB backend API.
code.google.com/p/xda-winmo-facebook/downloads/list , it's a bit buggy. Also development have stopped and I havn't used it for a while, so not sure if the program still worked or not.
Probably the best option is running via Opera mobile.

New PIE

Anyone looking into pulling the new PIE out of the new WM 6.1 emulator images that were just released as well as getting the Messenger files out of it? I miss having actual Live Messenger after getting the most current Live for Mobile version.

what do you mean windows messanger.. ? you can download the newest version from microsoft at all times.
the pie sucks and is not anything to want.
the only difference it has is java 7.5 support in desktop mode. Its slow. and microsoft is gay about it and says a phone like the diamond and touch pro isnt good enough for this browser. so **** it. use opera mobile 8.65 opera mini or skyfire over ie.
IE is old and gay. untill PIE7 or PIE 6.5 comes out .. theres no need for it.

you cannot download the mobile version of messenger, and all current versions of live for mobile don't include it.

Opera version for the HTC touch

The recent builts of Opera mobile cause the 'out of memory' problem on my HTC touch. I already tried to change the temporary folder to my storage card, but unfortunately it didn't fixed the problem. Does anyone knows which of opera mobile works correctly on the HTC touch?
Thank you.
Ps. I use the original rom
opera mini
I'm using opera mini and it works perfectly! Better than explorer.
i'll second that. Opera mobile was useless on my (custom ROM) touch too ... however Opera mini is brilliant (although remember not to use it for banking and secure stuff like that as it isn't fully encrypted).
it's a java app which is a pain, but if you search the forums there are ways of making it act like an application which work like a treat.
Opera 9.5 from Omnia
Works well on my Elfin.

App to watch your stocks?

I know the Touch Flo has the finance tab with the stock quotes. I don't use Touch Flo though, I use Mobile Shell.
Is there an app out there that works good on the Touch Pro 2 that tracks your stocks? I know the WM 6.5 ROMs on other phones have the MSN Money app built in, but that doesn't appear to be available as a stand alone app.
Anyone know of a good app?
I used TinyStock, I loved it and it works great on my TP2

Htc hd mini

Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a HTC HD mini, but I have one more question. Can I disable 3G/EDGE/GPRS/HSDPA? I want to do all my connectivity on WiFi and BlueTooth. I'd like it to re-enable it in a few years maybe. Is that possible? The HTC HD Mini runs Windows Phone 6.5.3
Thanks in advance!
Ofcourse you can ... you may disable everything to network connection on the device. You should see the HTC Legend before you go for windows mobile devices.

You mean I should use an Android system? That's something interesting too, because I've never used that before (Windows I've already used on my HP HX2190). Does someone has any experience with Android?

Windows Mobile app's on Android

Probably a stupid question and I appologise in advance, but is there any way of running Windows Mobile apps on Android. I quite like the look of HTC Desire.
The trackball thingy looks good, I really miss the "D" button on my Touch HD.
Problem I have is I use a couple of Windows Mobile based programmes for work and couldn't really give them up. So is it Desire or HD2

Withing the android market there are tons tons of apps that are the same or better than many of the current windows mobiles apps, you would just have to find the android counterpats and or similar apps.
