Can I download No Branded Rom Like UAE without losing warranty
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

I think your phone is also unbranded one, so you can flash another firmware.
You can use this app Phone INFO ★Samsung★ to obtain what CSC exactly do you have.

Ok my phone CSC is TMS which Slovakia t-mobile if I flash PHN which is Netherlands and change CSC code is this could trigger Knox warranty or not
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Ok But For Caution IF I Changed My Csc Could this Trigger Knox Warranty
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

I think that Knox warranty should not be tripped, because you are flashing the stock rom.
But you need also the confirmation from the others... People please help.

Can any one willing to help by confirm it

I know it says Hong Kong, but would anything happen if I flashed it to my USA T-Mobile GSM Tablet? Aside from possible incompatible modem with T-Mobile? Since it's for the P1000, I would assume a hard brick shouldn't occur?
think it won't brick.
but it is only a JQ5, surely nothing special?
(JQ5 = 2010 Oct ver 5?)
I flashed it, but I was stuck on the Samsung loading screen. It would blink off and then back on after maybe 20-30 seconds, but I never got to Setup Wizard.
I think if you are on MTD, you need to flash with pit file.
Maybe using pit file from Overcome's GB-stock-safe-v5 package together with this tar.md5

I flashed with the pit and repartitioned as well. Did it about 4 times too and was unable to get past that loading screen :/
Hhm.. what is so different a HK firmware compared to the rest.
Your recovery should be back to standard (3e) recovery, right?
Have you tried to wipe from there?

Well, here is what I did:
Flashed that as it is (with my tab plugged in), and it would reboot, but then it would go right back into Download mode. Manually powering off the tab and turning it back on took me to the Samsung boot animation/loading screen thing, and kept me there.
From there, I rebooted again, but this time to recovery. I noticed it did that CSC and yellow text stuff thing like it does when I restock according to Overcome's stuff on first reboot. The tab then reboots, but still never passes the Samsung loading screen.
Rebooting again into recovery, I can wipe cache and data, and then reboot system, but I still don't get past the loading screen.
Having a look at your screenshot it seems you took the md5 instead of the tar for PDA.
No. Almost all stock rom comes in a tar that is named .tar.md5
And it is correct the way he put it in PDA.

[Q] How to flash stock ROM without tripping KNOX?

Hey guys,
So I had to send my device to be repaired due to a SIM fault, but before I could do this I had to root it (Stock ROM) to check and reset the flash counter, and then do a full unroot in SuperSU.
Low and behold, I didn't have to do anything, the flash counter was 0 anyway, and my device status stayed at official, and my KNOX counter stayed at 0x0.
Now I have another issue, which I need to solve before selling my phone on eBay to fund a Nexus 5. When attempting to update the phone via Kies or OTA, it says the device has been modified, and that software updates are not available.
From what I can tell, the only way to do this is to flash stock ROM using Odin, but I'm worried this will trip the KNOX counter to 0x1, and I would like to avoid that, just because I would prefer to buy a device that is still under warranty, and thus I'd like to sell a device in the same condition.
Will flashing the correct stock ROM using Odin trigger the KNOX Warranty Void counter? Or is there a way to do this without triggering KNOX?
Thanks guys!
Do u have Android 4.2.2 or 4.3? If u can conect Kies again make an screenshot for us too

It's 4.3, and I've uninstalled Kies, sorry, but it would say that the device is not eligible for updates, didn't matter what I clicked. Even tried initializing (reinstalling the firmware) the device again and it said that the device is not eligible for initialization.

You will have to install it again. We need it. Remember you have now 4.3. You will have to install Kies 3

Revert back to stock?

Hi guys,
I'm just setting up my new Note 5 and will need to sell my Note 3 next week. I want to revert it back to Stock, or as close as possible to Stock so I can sell it.
I can't remember what custom ROM I have as it was years ago, but I've got Xposed and SuperSU on it. See below snapshot.

If someone can tell me how to revert as close to stock again, that would be great. I'm based in Australia by the way.
Cheers

Install this APP to know better all the info about your device and add screenshots (IMEI not necessary).
Flash a stock rom via Odin, wipe in stock recovery, and you should be fine.
Thanks guys, please see below.
How do I erase all my data and bring it as close to stock as possible? Does flashing a stock ROM un-root it and basically take it back exactly to stock?
Where can I find a stock ROM?
Cheers
Or do a simple google search...
Is Telstra the carrier? It is is, you could use Odin to flash a stock ROM and perform a factory wipe before flashing the phone for the first time.

Thanks. Just wondering how I clear everything on my phone completely and then put the stock firmware back on? Will this un-root the phone as well?
When I hold Volume Up + Power + Home it goes into a recovery where my options are:
- reboot system now
- apply update from ADB
- apply update from external storage
- wipe date/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- apply update from cache
When I hold Volume Down + Power + Home and I click 'Continue' it says "ODIN MODE" at the top and in the middle of the screen says "Downloading.... Do not turn off target"
Any help would be much appreciated! I'd really like to sort this out so I can sell my old phone ASAP.
Cheers
You flash the rom with Odin in download mode which will unroot and put everything back to stock. After flashing, boot into recovery and perform factory reset.

Thanks a lot. My only problem is the stock ROM is 1.6GB and it keeps disconnecting before it's finished! I'll have to try and find a copy elsewhere...

Post the screenshot here when you get the error in Odin. Give me the details of your firmware you're trying to flash.
Also try changing the data cable, prefer the Original Samsung Cable.

Unable to flash stock rom via Odin from custom ROM (Renovate ICE)

Hello,
I have on my S8 (G950F) Renovate ROM for almost one year, I will switch to new phone soon and I want give my current phone to my sister, so I wanted flash stock firmware and unroot device. Unfortunatelly I am not able do it. I tried manage it on two laptops, I use originanal USB-C cable, I tried few different last firmware from https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/, and this one as well- https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/rom-galaxy-s8-t3749171.
Odin software is 3.13.1 and drivers on my laptops should be okay because I am able flash TWRP. But when I tried flash stock firmware, I am getting some errors:
{

}
On screen on phone in Downlading mode after failed flash is showing:
sw rev. check fail device: 4. binary: 1
or
sw rev. check fail device 3 binary 2
Everything what I can do is flash custom ROMS from TWRP but I really want go back to Stock ROM so only Odin can do it I guess.
Thank you so much for your tips and help.
Veronika
Just a hint:
a had a similar behaviour on my Samsung tab S2.
The only thing that helped was flashing an really old stock ROM, specifically that one which was on the device at the time i bought it.
Maybe you could try it with an 7.0 Stock ROM.
You can get them from Here: https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=SM-G950F&rpp=15&order=date&dir=asc&exact=1
Thank you.
I already tried flash custom Nougat ROM but I got same errors in Odin later.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/rom-batstock-rom-v1-0-t3598853.
So now I will try download first stock Nougat ROM from my carrier on sammobile site

Your issue is you are trying to flash older firmware (bootloader) version than what is on your phone. You will need the latest version with boot loader version 4
The firmware version should look like this G950FXXU4CRI5.
Thanks!
So this one should help me?

As long as it is for your region ( and carrier ). If not sure I would.use a program called samfirm. At the moment I am having issues pasting links so you will have to do a search or use sammobil or updato.
Done, firmware from link was correct and I was able flash it.
Thank you so much for your help.
There is a simple reason for this. If you came from TWRP as "reboot to download", this creates the problem. Turn off the phone. Go to download mode with Vol_Down+Bixby+Power and then press Vol_Up button. When I enter download mode like this, it flashes without any problems.
