Wi fi issue

I have recently developed a problem connecting to Wifi .
All was fine until two days ago , now once it has found the networks it goes to disconnected
Any ideas ??

even me i get the problem!! my wifi works proper in my laptop where as in my x10 it shows wifi not in range?what shall i do?

Guys go to ur router setting and allow access in MAC Address control. It will work then.

mine problem similar with this but can detect after router restart

Does X10 have week signal reception or it's my idea?
When I 'm at home I have different signal sign on my laptop and X10. Sometimes it even disconnect while laptop connection works fine.

WiFi Problems

[Q] Do you have speed problems with Wifi? (N-band)
I have wifi N router and set to N only. I have two laptop both wifi N capable. When I transfer file usung file sharing betwen two laptop I m getting speed abt 3Mb/s but when i transfer file between laptop and SGS I only get speed of 300 Kb/s. SGS support wifi N standerd then why it so. Well I use ES file explorer to access file in my laptop over Wi- Fi.

It's a mobile device, they have lower throughput and probably only 1 antenna (most 802.11n devices have 3). There are a lot of factors, but basically, all that's important is that it supports the 802.11n protocol. Optimisation may lead to faster speed boosts over time though.
Network traffic might also be set to a low priority to help ensure the phone runs reliably for other tasks, but I have no idea why exactly it's slower exactly.

I get 1.5mbs from my nas and wireless n network

87 Mbps according to mine

87 seems too much I only get 25 while copy file on hard drive it self

that's actually low for me, but is better than nothing
my PC down in the cine room gets around 218+ Mbps

I get about 80Mbps laptop <-> network (802.11n 5Ghz), and about 5Mbps SGS <-> network (802.11n 2.4Ghz). Not horrible, but certainly not wonderful. I wish it had a 5Ghz radio too, so I could turn off my 2.4Ghz stuff :-/

Since my phone is on it's way to the repaircenter I would like to ask you all this Question.
I have problems with my wifi connection. The strange thing is, is that my router is brandnew! b+g+N!!!
The weird part is that it has only problems with the N-band
SO I hooked up another wireless router only with the b+g band and BAM it works.
But that's just messed up to have 2 wireless routers one for laptops and one just for my mobile phone...
So can u try the same thing and give me your comments about this issue?

if you read the documentations you'll noticed that for N to work at full speed, it must only listen to N no B no G
when you use Mix mode, N doesn't work well
to use N, you need 2 bands, B + G only needs 1 band
if you enable all 3 B+G+N you only get 1 band for all, so making the N useless
the trick is to update all your old hardware that still runs G or B to N
then you can use pure N, and gain full speed
the SGS phone can run up to 87 Mbps on N
meanwhile computers can go up to 280+ Mbps

Can't connect to home WPA2 wifi
Hello!
The problem is that I've been trying to connect to my home wifi like 100 times or more, but I'm still unable to get it working... The wifi it's WPA2 and it has a long sentence password...
Any ideas? Thank you!

Maybe you need to shorten your password to try.

[Q] manual wifi fix app?
Hey, like many Android users I'm often having problems with Wifi not connecting to APs. While that can be fixed by restarting Android that takes a lot of time and is more than annoying. There are some apps to solve this issue, they "fix" wifi whenever the screen is turned on (e.g. http://www.appbrain.com/app/wifi-fixer/org.wahtod.wififixer http://www.appbrain.com/app/blade-wifi-fix/com.bladewififix).
That however I don't like either as due to the fixing taking place always wifi connection becoming established takes quite a lot of time. So my question: Is there an app that fixes the wifi connection but does so only manually, e.g. by clicking a widget button?

[Q] Can't connect to Wifi?
I select my Wifi network, I enter in the password, it says connecting, authenticating, connected, remembered, then it says disconnecting, searching, authenticating, and it repeats. The H at the top never disappears, no Wifi icon ever appears, what is the issue exactly?
And yes, I am connecting to a Wireless-G signal.

Don't worry I can't connect to your home network either so it's not a problem with your phone

I suggest you delete the password from the router and try and connect .
If you connect setup again with the password .

I had the same problem and i manage to fixit with "WIFI STATIC". It's free on Market. Access your router config and add your Galaxy Mac adress, then fill the parameters in WiFi Static. It Works! Never had problems again! Oh, i think you have to put your's computer(s) mac adress too in the router.

is there really no such app? :-(

[Bug][Help] Another wifi problem (quite uncommon and i cant find fix)

I just got my nexus last week and heres my problem
Nexus 4 Connects correctly and with full speed wifi internet.
After a while it disconects and it gives connection problems to every one in the house ( i have to shut down wifi so that they can peacefully use the web again)
i have 1 router thomson and 2 signal hotspots belkin, the problem only occures when im connected to the Belkin routers, the other works fine.
RESUME: Connecting nexus 4 will shut down all internet in my home to every other device.
i cant find any fix for this. tryed some but they were for other connection problems like no net or slow connections. none work
help me please. thanks

yu yureka wifi problem

I am facing a WiFi problem.
When I connect the phone (yu yureka) WiFi to my college network it doesn't connect to the WiFi.
When it rarely do it get restarted again and again.
It works fine with my home network.
Please help.

I am in Lovely Professional University and i am facing the the same issue when connected to my hostel's wifi network . although the same kind of wifi setup is also there in the campus but there it works fine but in the hostels the phone gets restated again and again when connected to wifi .

I am also facing the same problem. In my case its only for particular settings of the wifi. On some settings the mobile is fine while in some ip address settings in college , the mobile gets restarted.

My WiFi works fine in my college. I am in Bangalore! It's a great phone IMO. I've hear a lot of complaints about the phone but I haven't personally faced any of it

this device has 2 wifi mac address i don't know how but when i restarted my phone my mac address changed and when i added my wifi mac to my wifi router settings it did not allowed it to connect.. i.e. one mac address works but another one don't..

Hi All,
My yureka mobile is not even detecting the available wifi connections, is there any solution for this issue.
NOTE: My another phone is able to detect the available wifi connection but yureka does not.
Guys, please help me resolve this issue.

It is listing out all available wifi connections, but we have to tap on the wifi settings once we turned it "ON".

check if you have not checked the avoid poor connection button..

Same problem
phone gets restarted every time i connect to any wifi routers but not to any wifi hotspot from laptop....!
Suggest some remedy for it plzzz...!!

Fix for Wifi issue
Go to recovery mode(google it if you don't know how), Wipe cache and restart your wifi might work.

WIFI Issue
This Issue is still present. I tried flashing custom ROMS also, but no use. Anybody has a fix or solution for this phone restart issue when connected to a public wifi?

Yureka for some reason has issues with a some type of authentication protocol that these public and college Wi-Fi routers use. So this restart issues will persist irrespective of the ROM you are using.

im facing the wifi problem but it is not restarting it is not getting connected to wifi . but before last weak it was getting connected

Hi dude,
I am also facing same problem but I found a solution by installing 'WiFi fixer' app from play store then onwards its working,device is not at all restarting. But this app restarts WiFi module of your device instead of restarting entire device.

i am also facing same problem of yureka wifi not connecting in college
in home it works fine
once it gets connected but aftr that i have to restart it

I am getting disconnected after a few min,when I don't use it.After rebooting my yureka device twice,then the WiFi gets connected. Suggest me a solution please.

WIFI Problem in P8lite ( Denied Network access )

Hi i have huawei p8 lite ALE dual sim , my problem is that the phone is suddenly does not join any WiFi network and said ( network access denied ) and i didn't do any thing to it before no roms no root nothing just the last official update the company send to me from about 3 months and after that the phone was working perfectly nothing just from a couple of days it cant join any WiFi network but Bluetooth and 3g are working normally note that the phone doesn't fallen or something like that and thanks

That happens due to the issue with router not with phone.
In general if many users are connected to same router and it cant handle anymore new connections then such error occurs.
Just restart your router it will solve your issue.

Even i have same problem its not problem with router . i was trying to connect to google public wifi and my phone didnt get connect but people who came after me gor their phone connected . (i had same issue with many times)
