[Q] Flashing ROMS using Safestrap

Hey guys,
I rooted my N9005 using Root de la vega and now want to flash X-NOTE. I was wondering if I could use this method to do so and if I can will it trip knox?

I purchased an S5 which was imported from Germany and it has Q Telecom branded firmware (it has Q Telecom apps, boot logos etc.) And I would like to flash a stock unbranded firmware with odin, will I trip Knox?
Also is there any method on unupdated S5s of obtaining Root only without tripping Knox? Like it was with Root de la Vega on Note 3 phones

No, flashing firmware with Odin doesn`t trip KNOX and for rooting look for Towelroot which doesn`t trip KNOX.

Ok towelroot worked fine for my German firmware but I still want an unbranded & rooted firmware while still having Knox 0x0.
I have Mobile Odin Pro will it work somehow without tripping Knox

i am under official kitkat 4.4.2 from (ota) if i root my note 3 SM-N9005 without tripping knox 0x0 will i get new system update via WIFI (ota) ? the same question if i did trip knox 0x1 by rooting ? thank you very much :laugh::good:

I am sorry mate once you are rooted you don't get any software updates over wifi (ota)
The only way to update (to an official samsung firmware) is to download the whole firmware on your computer and flash it with odin(you loose the root again)

Nope, but you can install wanam xposed and enable fake system status. Then you can install OTA.

Root G900F ITALY and ota updates

Hi guys I want to root my G900F bod3 version,But there are no root method so I've downgraded to kitkat and root with towelroot and flash a stock fw by flashfire..so I have a rooted stock fw with Knox 0x0
My stasus on download mode is "custom" and can't update via ota!!!is there a way to update future updates without reflash with Odin?

You can't root Lollipop without tripping KNOX
Closed method would be going back to KK, then using one of the root injection upgrade tools, not sure which ones work, flashfire? MobileODIN Pro?
