I know that I cannot update OTA to NB1 because my phone is rooted. I have Supersu with survival mode. Is there a way to get the OTA update to go through without failing, or do I have Odin to NB1 stock?

Is there a safe way back to stock from the MJ7 ota?

MJ7 IS stock. You mean if you can downgrade to an older firmware? No you can't AFAIK the updated bootloader doesn't allow users to downgrade to an older firmware using Odin.

Hey guys, I soft bricked my phone in mf3, if I update to mk2, will that remove the brick?

Why would you do that. Just use Odin and flash mf3

I'm on mja and looking to update to mk2. Im rooted with stock ROM with custom recovery with hotspot mod. I don't want to lose data or root so is there an mk2 update zip file I can just flash in recovery?

I did...one thread says to use Odin but does that lose data? I come from the nexus side of things so everything is easier. This is confusing with the samsungs. I'm doing all this for my dads phone.

I have the official Samsung 4.3 update now. Mk2. I did not know it wasn't rootable with cf autoroot a few months ago and my knox counter is at 0x1. Would my phone brick if I updated to 4.4.2?
Thanks

Simple answer is no it will brick brick. I was on 0x1 mk2 and took the OTA.

I'm running Liquid Smooth 4.4.2 with MJA bootloader, I've tried almost every link for stock firmware and every ZIP I download is corrupt and I can't do anything with it. Is there a way I can unroot and go back to stock 4.4.2 with touchwiz?
