NEED ROOT ? TRY VROOT and use this YOUTUBE GUIDE

Hello.
Same thing happened to me a few months ago.
You can try with SuperOneClick 1.7 to root this should disable your antivirus. http://www62.zippyshare.com/v/49449888/file.html
We connect our mobile to PC in "PC Software" mode, activate the Applications "Unknown sources" option if you have it already activated and Development where we will activate USB Debugging mode.
Unzip the downloaded file (you need to have antivirus disabled, but it is a false alarm). SuperOneClick.exe execute as administrator, and once the program where it says "Exploit", select "rageagainstthecage" open.
Press the root button, waited a few minutes for the process to be completed and ready. Before the end the program will ask for a test, if everything went correctly, we will have our mobile rooteado.
Luck :good:

[Q] Sony Xperia X8 root issue

Hello guys
I ran through n no. of threads
I checked the steps for rooting the phone
And i did it accordingly but the "waiting for device" issue still prevails
I downloaded SE USB drivers as well though i don't know how to install them
I've PC companion's 2.0.0 version
I've SuperOneClick's 1.7 version
I'll tell you the steps i followed
1. SuperOneclick started
2. Click ROOT tab
3. Starting ADB... Waiting for status
4. With Unknown sources ON and USB debugging ON, i connect the phone
Even then it says Waiting for device
I read in the forums that it needs Windows Vista or 7
I've Windows XP Professional though 2002 Service pack 2 version
Pls help me get through this problem
Sorry for creating a new thread but i've been trying to this since hours together
What is the exact problem? And how do i check whether I've latest Sony Ericsson USB Drivers?
When it says waiting for device when phone is connected try to turn usb degging off and on or try to root phone with FlashTool
I´ve rooted on XP 2002 Home Edition SP3 without any problems.
Try it the following way, it worked perfectfor my sister´s phone with SE 2.1 (because I don´t know what I did with my phone any more , and we both have an E15i :
First of all, be sure that you are using the computer where you´ve upgraded to 2.1, or download the X8-drivers somewhere (google is your friend!^^)
extract the attached SuperOneClick.
Run the SuperOneClick.exe.
Enable USB debugging on your phone, but do not connect it yet.
Click "root".
let SOC start the ADB and the other stuff.
Connect your phone when it says "waiting for device".
After a few seconds, you should have root.
Try to install Sony ericsson update service...it will install the latest drivers during the installation of the program..
Sent from my X8 using XDA App

I see the problems are in Windows 7. The USB Conector seems ok. Untick "usb debugging" in ur phone and take a look this page. If dont appears nothing in the device manager, tell me it and i will give ya other solution
EDIT: Other option is:
- Uninstall completely Kies and Kies 3
- Reboot ur pc
- Download the latest version of Kies 3 (drivers are included, only tc what u select in the installation -> dont untick them)
- Conect ur phone to the pc with the USB conector and wait coz the drivers have to be installed. Till Windows dont finish of install them u dont need touch nothing. Good luck
I'm suprised that three peoples trying to help me, thats charming, thank you.
But...
Repulsa I've done what u wrote, I tried plugging s4 to another usb port, one port usb 2.0 and another usb 3.0, always was the same situation, the charging start coming but nothing more, there is no notification on phone screeon or on the pc. Also I tried do this in second pc, in 3 usb ports, but always was the same. After that I tried that what Repulsa and jaswinsky says, i re-install kies. First I uninstall in both pc kies, and i install the kies 3, I reboot my pc and I reboot my s4. Nothing new happens, only charging. Here i want to turn your attention that, I checked in both pc's my younger brothers Galaxy s2, and it havent any problems with connecting! If I plugging Galaxy s2 in this usb ports in both pc, windows 7 havent any problem to recognize phone! Kies and "My Computer" shows the device memory and its working. When I after that disconect s2 and plug in my s4 the same situation happens. Only charging icon, and nothing appears about connection.
After that i tried that what Joku1981 wrote, I untisck "usb debugging" in developer options and i checked the device manager, but there doesnt appears anything. There is not "other device" warning or anything like that. Charging icon appears but pc dont recognizing s4. I would also like to point out that, yesterday I've done with younger brother the format on one of this pc's with hope that will helps but, we format pc, reinstall windows7, reinstall all drivers, and the situation is still the same.
Please help me!
PS. I'm starting think about that the official OTA update do 4.4 will solve the issue..

trust on this computer popup

I cannot get my adb to work because I never get the box that pops up asking if I want my computer to trust this phone. Have switched from mtp, ptp, etc...have revoked usb debugging authorizations, and I have toggled adb on and off.
I have a oneplus two that works fine and I have had a nexus 5x that was fine and even when I first got my 6p it worked. I just downloaded android sdk for the newest platform tools and I flashed new images for the phone.

Doesnt do anything...that program says something about being offline...try unplugging and all that...over and over
very frustrating...ive tried everything, different cables, all of it.
Lets start over.. Make sure, you remove all drivers from your PC. Uninstall HiSuite and restart
Now install HiSuite and launch the program before you connect your phone to your PC, Click on the button that says "Hot to connect phone for Android 4+" follow the onscreen instructions.

Fastboot not detected, although drivers are installed and Everything is done. Urgent!

I'm in a bit of a fix. I correctly rooted my nexus 6p. I could originally run it in fastboot mode. But I wanted to install a ROM, and I foolishly cleared off my /system files as well. I nearly can get it fixed, but the one problem is that I can't get my PC to get my phone to get detected in fastboot AFTER this. But the phone is detected in recovery mode.
I searched everywhere and didn't get a good result. Anyone?
The rom is https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/development/rom-t3488519
and I have flashed the vendor img, and the Rom. System files are now back, but I cant flash the radio image as I cant get my PC to detect it in fastboot.
This fastboot problem is bothering me a lot. Please, if you know how to fix it then please explain it in detail as I'm a bit new to this.
IMP: Although I haven't flashed the radio img, Wifi and things still seem to work. What could be the reason?
Hi... What OS do you run on your computer? How is your phone detected in device manager when you're in bootloader?
Do you have adb/fastboot up to date? If not download that zip here and try again, just in case...:

I already did that. Any other ideas?
UPDATE: I reinstalled gapps, now the phone boots up and works fine. But the PC still doesn't recognize it when my phone is in bootloader mode It was working fine before I accidentally wiped the system. Can you please help me out with that? Or could you please refer this topic to someone who knows a good deal about this? I appreciate your help.
Unplug the phone from your computer. Reboot into bootloader... Now plug the phone back.
Is your phone detected as an unknown device in device manager? Or not recognized at all?

There is an unknown device called Android. But no files open up on my PC like it's supposed to. My device would read as Nexus 6P before the accident. Now, the PC reads it and I can view the files but that is only when it's in recovery or when it's booted up.
Is it caused by me accidentally wiping out the system files? I am not sure why exactly this is happening.
PS- After flashing the ROM, I lost root access. Would re-rooting fix it?
Change driver on windows via manual select driver and selecting from list.
to adb single sooner interface.
My device: 701->703 B212 KangVIP AJ Xposed
So... When in bootloader with "unknown device" in device manager... Right click on the unknown device and choose update driver...
Choose the option where you can select a driver on your computer and use the "USB driver" from the link I gave you before. (If you haven't done it yet )

Change driver? I didn't exactly understand that. Could you please elaborate the steps? I have recently taken interest into android tweaking and I'm not very familar with how to do this. Thanks for your help.
@5.1 Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't work. I tried and the options I get are either troubleshoot or remove or properties. The update option isn't there. It is an unspecified driver.
If you don't understand. Well just google how to manually update drivers on Windows 8 and use the driver from the google USB driver link.

BUMP: Device is detected perfectly when it's on and it is also detected when it is in recovery mode. Only the bootloader doesn't seem to be detected. Could this be because of faulty drivers or is it because of some mess up of my phone files when I accidentally wiped system before?
I don't see any reason why wiping system could have caused such issue. (I could be wrong though...)
Have you tried to update the driver while in bootloader?
Here is a how-to in case you're not sure how to proceed:

Thanks, but do you mean the ADB driver shown under "Android Devices" in Device Manager? Because I updated it with the zip file and windows said it's up to date. Weird :/
@arifqur I have installed it, and it seems to control my phone well. But the problem is, how will I be able to use it to flash images to flashboot if the PC can't detect my phone in bootloader mode?
I'm really hoping this isn't a phone issue and it's a driver one. I even went to SDK Manager and re installed Google USB drivers thrice. I'm really wondering as to what could cause this. I think too that it's faulty drivers, for some reason.
