is anyone else having problems loading cnet.com? I have tried both wifi and 3G and cnet will no load. Watching the status at the bottom right of the screen it looks like it's trying to load the mobile version but ends up not loading anything. Most likely a proxy issue but i'm not sure how to resolve it.
It eureka fine on mine I'm using dolphin browser though

I was just able to google: Cnet.com, and click the link using the default browser. It then loaded the Mobile site; at the bottom of the page was a link for their 'full site' which also loaded with no problems. Sounds like a proxy issue.
ok...i should had said more....it loads fine on any browser on the phone, but when using the Laptop dock and trying to go to cnet.com it just times out.

I was also getting the same error (w/browser). This is what I did to fix it.
You press menu from your home screen
click on setting
click on applications
click on manage applications
click on all
click on Browser (or whatever app your having problems with)
click on clear data

Thanks, I'll try that.
if you don't know which Google sync is causing the problems go into accounts sync turn off all the snyc with your account and turn then on one by one, you'll get the error when you go to sync on of the Google apps, for me it was a problem with my bookmarks sync with chrome once I had sync chrome on my desktop to my Google account the problem stopped on the tablet
I tried a bunch of different things. Error kept coming back.. I gave up and took it back to best buy to get a new tablet. I didn't feel like installing a rom from xda when it should have worked in the first place. Installed the updates on the new tablet and everything is working.
Thanks for your help

Since i updated to Jelly bean in my TMOUS HTC HD2, opera mini shows some funny behavior. For any site i open, it gives me a blank page with no letters or links or placeholders after full loading (attachment 1). I played around and found that holding down the power button and expanding the desktop showed the page. later on i also discovered that clicking on any textbox (eg. google search) and opening keyboard also shows the page (attachment 2). and after it shows, the page will keep showing even if i change expanded screen or close keyboard (attachment 3), only till i refresh the page or load another, which brings up the problem again.
searched, updated, to no avail.
maybe someone has faced this problem too?

default browser uses more data. i have a very limited plan. that's why opera mini is the best choice in my part
on a different note, opera mobile doesnt have this problem. loads well. if opera turbo turned on, its basically same as using opera mini.
two downsides, though:
no option to set the quality of pics to load. uses more data on that
somehow bypasses the glyph rendering which is done fine by the JB system, and opera mini too!!
type "about: config" in opera address bar for more settings

opera turbo is in the settings (basic settings) of "Opera Mobile". its not the same as opera mini but turning on turbo makes the web pages go to opera servers first, get 'adjusted' and go to ur device; just what happens in opera mini (afaik)

yeah. tried that couple of days ago, was trying to update this post.
When i go to download a file from the browser, it downloads to 99% then says 'Download Unsuccessful'. It happens everytime and it is really annoying because i have to download it off my computer and then transfer it to my phone. I'm running CM10 nightlies with Air Kernel #201. Any help would be appreciated!

Try turning off wifi sleep? If you're connected to wifi and this is off then when the screen cuts off it kills your wifi connection.
Don't quote me on this.
Either clear data on your download manager or uninstall chrome (it's been known to cause problems) and/or switch to an alternative browser

i haven't problem with chrome :laugh::laugh:
clear cache of your download manager, maybe resolve it
What browser are you using? I usually have this issue with the stock browser, but using dolphin or opera mini generally works better for me. I've also used the app "easy downloader pro" from the play store, it will let me resume a download that didn't compete the first time...

It's been happening to me lately on CNA 3.5 with the stock browser.
Every time I clear the data in my Download Manager things start working again.
Eventually it starts to mess up again though. >_>
Mine does it on 3g with stock browser. Sometimes I have to click retry like 20 times before it gets it. And for me it works best when nothing else is running.
And Im also on cm10 and air kernel, but I've had that problem with every ROM and kernel I've used.
Like the other guy said, try a different browser, dolphin is nice
