I have had a problem with the app FolderMount. I explain you what I've done.
First of all, I've downloaded the game "The Walking Dead Season One" with its
1,1GB of data game. I've tried to move this file in external SD card with FolderMount and all is
gone good. After I have rebooted my device (Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505) and I
have opened the game, but it has started the download of data game. So I've
gone to control if FolderMount have mounted the folder and I have tapped the
green icon and it has became gray, then I've tapped again ad it has became
green. I've gone to control the game and it started. Then I tapped again the
icon and I have deleted the lonk folder in FolderMount and I have unistalled
the game. Now the ext sd card doesn't work more. I can do nothing, I can't
deleted any folder or file in its, and I also can't format it! Please, could
you explain me what I can do to solve this problem?
Sorry for my bad english but I'm Italian

lol yeah so just updates my bootloader to v7 0.03.14-mul
thought i should make a new nandroid backup,
found last backup had backed-up all files to direct sd no in a clockworkmod folder?
so i proceeded to delete the doubles/backups of files i had sitting right next to eachother,
then bam, literally everything got deleted ....i dont know why.
now sometimes when i look from my pc i cant see the files on my sd card through my a500 even though when i click root explorer i can see the file are in fact there,
now also
when i click to play music i see loads of tracks i no longer have on the tab and the player just attempts to play them then moves on to the next.....?
i just checked without the sdcard inserted and the music tracks are still showing in google play with 0:00 next to them, ?
im worried these unusable tracks are taking up internal memory
ok i found out the unusable tracks were for some reason on the internal-sd not the external?....kinda weird i still dont know why my memory card killed itself its working now
hello all! this is my first post here but i have been a long time fan of this webstie.. I wanted to ask if someone knew or can help me with my problem.. So every time i reboot my phone all the apps that are stored on my sd card don't show up in the folders i created in my home screen. (for example)... in my games folder in my home screen every time i reboot my phone the only games that reamin in the folder are the ones that are stored in the internal memory but not the sd card...same thing goes for all my other folders... so everytime i reboot i have to move all the apps back to their folders... anyone know that is causing this? by the way i'm not using any rooted apps like link2sd to move my apps to the sd card..just using the regular way with the new update! thanks for all your help! cheeerss
Hey there
So I'm using a samsung galaxy s4, 4.3 Android and I've tried to install Real Boxing on it. I installed the apk file but when it comes to copying the obb file it shows the problem. It won't copy it to device storage so I copied it to sd and then from sd card copied it to device storage. Application starts (only logo or however it's called thing shows up) and then it says it stopped working. The same thing happened with Fifa 14. So, anyone knows how to solve this problem? I basically tried everything I know.
Thanks
*It tells me that there's no connection firstly or there are no files. I connect my phone to wi fi and then the same thing, it stops the app saying that it stopped working.

Well first of all uninstall and install folder mount. And you should correctly mount the folder. First hit "+" icon on the top. A new window opens. There is Name, Source and Destination. Write the name of game( any one you like) in Name. Now tap on Source. This is the important step. You should properly browse the folder. If you have obb then browse like Android>obb>com.Nameofgame. After you reach the game file folder you will see nothing except up. When you reach here Click "Right" icon ( sorry i dont have that icon so i wrote in words). After that a new window will open and prompt you to create destination folder automatically. Hit yes. Then Hit "right" icon on the top. Then you will be prompted to move the file. Hit yes. After the file is moved Click the icon (something like pin and is white in colour) on the right to your name of game. It is for mounting the folder. If turns green then you have successfully mounted your folder
Hello. I have galaxy S4 m919. Phone has 16 gb, but getting low. One of my biggest files is, thumbnails cache. 1.2 gb. I tried to link that folder, but after rebooting, my external memory card shows up in file manager as the cache folder, and I cannot navigate out of that into my card. Any thoughts?
I slowly look there no longer. I have rooted my S3 Neo initially quite normal and provided with CWM as it has been explained in various tutorials. Then I fixed the Android 4.4 write access issue with the "NextApp SDFix" from Android market. With the "ES File Explorer" and "Total Commander" I could normally rename files on the SD card, copy and move.
However, to me the practical effect is associated with all apps, which store data automatically on the SD card very mysterious, because instead of the SD card, they will continue stored internally namely in "/storage/Emulated/0". I tested this with "Dead Trigger 2", which is usually stores the game data in "Android/OBB". In Application Manager I have the opportunity the app to move itself to the correct SD card (.android_secure directory), but just the app itself and not the game data wich stay in the internal, emulated SD-Card.
For my previous smartphone, an Ace 2 NFC (I8160P) there was a fix for it to fit the "vold.fstab" to file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28419837#post28419837
I could find only a tutorial changing the internal memory with the real SD-Card for the normal S3, which, however, is probably not compatible with the S3 Neo: http://android-hilfe.digidip.net/visit?url=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036796 - Or should I try it so anyway?
At first the question: Why the Kitkat-Fix is at all useful, if it does not help in practice and the data continues to be stored internally? The only thing that has been directly accessed files to the correct SD card was the photo app but that's about it.
Update: I just see that it also provides an Android folder on the right SD card as well as in the emulated and actually reside in folders and the installed apps, including "Dead Trigger 2". However, the folder unlike emulated SD card are completely empty. What does that have to mean again?
I hope somebody can help me ans find a solution as I can't use my external SD-Card for most game datas or apps as planned or I will send back my S3 Neo tomorrow.
PLEASE!!! Can somebody help me???
do you use xposed? there are a couple of modules that allows you to use obb files from sdcard. Personally i use "xinternal". those ps apps never worked for me also.
Use Folder Mount
I use a xposed module called "HandleExternalStorage" and it works like a charm! Try it yourself!
Good luck
