Bricked LG G2 PLEASE HELP - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I need help from you guys. I followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2673736. The moment my phone stopped to work is when I wiped system, cache, dalvik and data and Installed the rom on step 6.(4.4.2 kitkat). First what I got was the white letters saying fastboot mode started and udc_start(). That was all I got. After that I tried fixing my problems with factory reset which caused more problems then
I thought. What I have now is a phone without anything working on it. I can't acess my recovery because when I try it says factory reset(yes/no). When I click yes nothing happens and it just sends me back to screen now without udc_start(). Now I only have fastboot mode started without anything. I also tried holding the volume up key and going through the download mode and fixing it like that but when I try it it starts that little download mode and it just quits and sends me back to a page with a white text where I can't do anything. If someone could be so kind and help me fix my phone. Please help. I've did a factory reset using adb in recovery like this adb shell
recovery --wipe_data
device is : LG G2 d802

Solved with help
Many thanks to @bender_007 for his amazing help with laf.
So basicly what bender helped me is with getting the download mode to work and I found my way after that even though the download mode was stuck I still managed to do it
Okay so I'll explain step by step how I fixed it.
1. First thing to do is get this awesome files provided by @bender_007 Download:https://www.dropbox.com/s/ad1c592k3h3a1d1/paket.zip and to connect your phone on usb to be connected with your pc. After that you want to get your phone in fastboot and if you have the same issue just turn on the phone and it will get you there. After that extract the file provided by bender_007 and start the file called RUN THIS.bat. It will do all the work for you or basicly it will delete your current laf file and replace it with working one.
2. After doing all that you want to restart your phone with holding the power key and when it starts to boot(LG SCREEN) hold volume up. In the centre of the screen there will be a icon displayed with loading. Well my never loaded but it doesn't matter. It is the same if it loads or not.
3. Third step might me the longest depending on you. If you do have the R&D test tool it will be easy. Now you just want to get back to stock so you just need to follow this instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476. The instructions are very detailed and it will be easy to follow. It will take some time to finish and it will restart automatically. After that your phone will boot up and start . I hope this will help someone and I'm so glad @bender_007 helped me with laf filed. Many thanks. I'm not responsible for anything I'm just trying to help and it worked on my phone LG G2 d802
Also thanks @hyelton for providing files such as stock,R&D test tool and many other usefull things

The package is only for d802 though. :good:

Lost my recovery, can't install it and errors after booting. HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello,
I have bricked my LG G2 (D802) and installed the stock image with the LG flash tool. Now, I don't have a recovery anymore (I press volume down and power on boot but it doesn't open a recovery, just tells me in the left corner that I'm in security mode).
Also, the biggest problem here is, that if I boot my LG G2, I can't use it. There is all the time a message popping up that com.android.phone was shut down, I can't do anything.
I want to wipe the phone completely but don't have a clue how. My computer doesn't recognize the booted phone, it's just working in download mode. But I can't install the recovery from download mode.
Could someone please help me?
Flashing kdz makes you loose that. Only way to get it back is by following the procedures mentioned everywhere.
Also note, its likely on your version different combo key opens recovery. Forgot what it was but its been mentioned plenty of times.
Use that combo, do a factory reset and it should be fine

[Urgent Help Required!] Phone boots, but no download mode or recovery!

Hi,
Have a weird situation, but try as much as I may, I'm unable to resolve it.
My phone is rooted (international D802) and was running fine. Had a screen issue and got it replaced at the service center but their system identified my phone as a rooted device, and a couple of days later the problems started.
The issues I'm facing right now:
1. The phone doesn't charge when switched on, at all.
2. The phone doesn't reboot either.. not instantly anyways. If powered off, or rebooted, the phone doesn't turn back on, it just goes dead. It does boot again though if tried after a couple of hrs.
3. The phone charges when its off (shows no light or indicator though, like its bricked)
4. Cannot go into either recovery or download mode. Coz the phone doesn't boot when restarted or when i try to reboot into recovery.
5. When it does magically start after a few hrs (upon long pressing the power button), even if I try to go into download or recovery via the vol keys, it just boots to android.
6. The phone is recognized properly as LG G2 under windows and all the drivers install too.
7. The phone isn't recognized under Linux... tried both Ubuntu and Knoppix.
Travelling out of the country in a few days, really need to sort this out.
Any and all help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Somebody... Anybody? :'(
When your phone rebooted I would recommend you firstly to activate USB Debugging in the developer settings. You said your device is rooted? So try to install the Auto Rec recovery here
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=13763 - but make sure you are on Kitkat. Now, install the app normal and let the app install all things. After installation, the app asks you to reboot to recovery, now press reboot to recovery.
Maybe you have luck and the phone reboots to TWRP. In TWRP you can go to Reboot and then Reboot to Download mode.
Now (if all worked) you can flash the stock rom .kdz file of the d802 via the FlashTool 2014.
Hope you have luck, please keep me up to date if everything worked.
Yours, Flo
Good luck!!
Thanks a lot for the response Flo, but the problem is that i never got around to updating to a Kitkat rom... the rom i was never got updated and I was kinda happy with how things were working so didn't jump on to any other rom.
Anything I can do in my current situation?

[Q] LG d802 recovery hell

Hi All,
I hoping some kind soul will guide/lend a helping hand here?
Here's my problem, I own an LG G2 d802, running kk4.2.2, rooted via towelroot.
Today I decided to for the first time to delve into the world of custom ROM's and what a mistake it was
Basically I downloaded TWRP for d802(img), gapps(d802 version), and cm Resurrection Remix and then I made the fatal mistake of using Flashify to flash TWRP to my phone and rebooting. After doing this I can no longer enter download mode, recovery mode, and when I try to go to either I get the ERROR: boot certification verify: secure booting error.
When I i plug my phone into my computer (drivers & LG support tool installed) my computer recognizes my device, however it displays around 10 or so removable drives i.e f, g, r etc and lots of messages appear saying i need to format them before they can be used and Support tool doesn't recognize my phone as being connected at all
I have searched lots of threads and now realize that Instead of using Flashify I should have used Autorec(lesson learned), I have also searched for possible solutions and the only
one which looks remotely viable is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
My only problem is I have LG G2 d802 32gb model and the files in the above guide/solution are for the LG G2 d802 16gb 10a and even then if they was the correct files I think i would still have a very hard time following/using the files to make my phone live again and also have no knowledge/exp with Linux distro's.
I am a total noob/idiot and don't have a clue how I am going to fix my phone and have pretty much pulled out whats left of my hair in despair!!
Please help me.
Kindest regards, Dark.

I am literally going insane now is there no one here that can even be so kind to say if the above is even the correct way for me to go? or point out a way which may be better or a step by step/link to things I need?
I really don't have the exp/confidence or knowledge to be bale to know if its correct or not and really don't want to make things worse by trying something that may not be right
Can find threads and websites which have similar type situation but all seem to have slightly different to my own as most can seem to have download mode or still be able to boot their OS but i cant do either.
is this below method any use for my situation?

You say in your original post you're running KK 4.2.2. 4.2.2 is Jellybean not KitKat, so which one are you running exactly?
If you didn't use AutoRec your bootloader should still be a Kitkat Bootloader since AutoRec's job is to downgrade your Bootloader to Jellybean.
There are 2 ways to access Recovery Mode on a G2 depending on the current Bootloader.
Method 1 (Jellybean Bootloader)
Turn G2 Off. Hold PWR + VOL DWN, when LG Logo appears let go and hold PWR + VOL DWN.
Method 2 (KitKat Bootloader)
Turn G2 Off. How PWR + VOL DWN, when LG Logo appears, let go and hold VOL UP + VOL DWN.
Do either of those work?

Well since you can't access Recovery Mode, you can't access Download Mode and your receiving a Boot Error, It sounds like your only option here is to follow this tutorial.
As for the files you need, you have a 32GB D802. Download this .7z package and extract it. You'll find all the .img files you need. Now follow the tutorial .

Was on CloudyG2 2.2 and Used Autorec and bricked phone. Even download mode is broken

I know there are tons of threads on this, but I think my phone is fixable and I want to make sure I use the right method so I dont permantely brick it. Here is what happened.
1) I was on CloudyG2 2.2 which I believe is a Kitkat rom.
2) Used Autorec and rebooted.
3) Standard boot gets me a Fastboot Started screen.
4) Holding down and powering on gets me to the Factory Reset screen. If I use power button twice to proceed, it goes to a Fastboot screen.
5) Holding volume up and plugging in my phone, it hsows Download Mode for a second then shows a fastboot screen. I do get Windows 10 to ding when I plug it in during this time and the screen changes to fastboot: processing commands.
So, it seems I fubared both download and recovery. I believe I need to get download mode fixed first before I can fix recovery and reinstall a rom. Is that a correct assumption? If so, can someone point me to the correct guide for this specific situation? I see a lot of threads, but I am not sure which pertains to me and I dont want to do anything I can fix.
Thanks, I really do appreciate it!

LG G2 D802 brick problem (I tried different solutions)

Hello everyone!
I really hope I can find help here. I wanted to install Cyanogenmod 13 on my LG G2 D802 32GB. In the end I think I bricked my phone. I want to mention that I already searched for help on the Internet and tried many tutorials, but nothing helped.
First, I rooted my phone using this One click root method (before, I tried doing that other ways but it didn't work). So far, so good.
Then, I installed TWRP via Autorec. And here came the first problem. I booted into recovery mode and then the phone wouldn't start anymore. I started getting "Security error" along with Lg logo, when I wanted to turn on the phone. Actually I can't remember if I wiped everything in Recovery mode before or after getting this error, but I did anyway. Then I didn't get this security error message anymore, just stuck with lg logo.
Anyway I was still able to get into recovery or download mod, so I tried installing CM. But I couldn't acces my phone memory through PC and I didn't have CM installer zip on the phone. I tried copying CM installer into the phone using ADB push command. It did copy, it said it succesfully installed but since then every time I turn on my phone Lg logo just blinks for a fraction of a second and the phone will not turn on. The screen is black, but it remains "on" (there's nothing on it but you can see it's not totally turned off).
After that I tried every tutorial I could to install CM or stock ROM. I tried downloading different LG firmwares, including one found on a page where I had to enter my IMEI. But it's always the same problem: when I use LG Flashtool ( 1.0.54 ) it gets stuck. After clicking on System Upgrade I'm not asked about the language (as tutorials suggest), but it just opens LGMobile Support Tool, which says that my system is up to date.
OK, I think that's all I can say. So, the main problem is that I cannot use LG Flashtool, which is neccessary to install stock ROM in all the tutorials I have seen. Of course, I would like to install CM 13 still, but now th emost important thing is to get my phone to work again, even on stock system.
I hope we can solve this problem. Thank you all in advance!
Can you boot in download mode?
If you have download mode you can easily reflash stock
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
If you cant get to download mode you have to reflash all the partitions here is thread

After reflashing all partition you should be able to boot in download mode, then you can flash stock

Thanks a lot. I followed the instructions in the first post on the first site that you linked, using kdz file. Everything seemed to go well and I was already happy, but... It seemed that the stock flashed (on the computer it said that the installation was correct, on the phone the screen showed Update Software and it went to 100% percent), then the phone restarted and started updating apps for Android. And that is normal I suppose. But then, after it finished, it turned off, turned on and started installing those apps again. After that it turned off. When I wanted to turn it on, it showed me LG logo and then android logo for a fraction of a second. Then sometimes it would turn off completely and sometimes turn on again and show logos again. I assume that's what is called bootloop. So I followed the tutorial which said I should do factory hard reset. I entered the screen (power+vol down buttons), confirmed two times that I want to do the reset. It said the reset will start automatically, but nothing happened. The phone just turned off immediately and the same situation with logos (Bootlooping?) appears. So the problem now is that I cannot factory reset the phone.

OK, well, this is strange. The phone is working again, but actually I have no idea why I downloaded the tool from your link, installed it and ran. Then, following the yt tutorial, I went to the step where I was supposed to "look and remember the disk number that have so many partitions". I didn't anything there, though. And then, all of the sudden the phone started updating Android apps and then turned on as after factory reset. Weird, but it's working fine
By the way, can someone post a link to a tutorial on how to install Cyanogenmod 13 on LG G2 D802 32GB? I would still like to install it, but I want to avoid all the problems that I had now. So is there any good step by step tutorial that I could use to install CM?
Anyway, thanks all for help

Sure.
Download the rom from cyanogenmod website and put it on your phone memory.
Download Gapps from opengapps.org and place on the phone memory.
Go to recovery.
Make a full nandroid backup( all the partitions) , wipe all except internal storage.
Flash the rom along with the gaaps zip.
Reboot.
